Delmoth here. I can't decide if I want to dredge up Gilly here or a rogue modron. Full disclosure: I'm currently running Dead Gods.

Let me ask again cause I'm getting mixed messages. You're saying yes to post-faction war because the lore for post-faction war is garbage? IIRC post-faction war the Godsmen and the Signers merged. My first thought was to play someone close to achieving those faction's stated goals. Ascending as a deity/being the One.
I won't submit Gilly again because of the preference for non-planar characters. Are we green primes or have we had a chance to become top-shelf cutters? If the later are we allowed to join a faction? If we join a thought guild how did you want to handle the abilities that a factioneer usually gets? Your prior game was post-faction war, is this one as well?
Gonna bow out. This game is too slow paced for my tastes. I'm having difficulty keeping what's going on straight without regular reminders. Which while is not necessary to play Gilly does keep me from enjoying it. As far as what happens to your favorite basket brawler, he probably just gallops off in a random direction.
Gilly pouts, "But Susan..." Then he stands rigid, "Yes my queen!"
Gilly wakes with a start, "Resistance is futile!" Gilly stands up but still hides behind his shield.
What Gilly sees: <Candice> and <Grant> try very hard to have a controversial segment air on <the all seeing eye> after a viewer sent a letter of disapproval to every board member of the network and the show's sponsors.
Gilly tries in vain to dig out the remote control from out of the reclining chair he's managed to wedge himself into. But he finds that his hands have turned into human shaped feet. He screams.
Gilly stabilizes so hard some of his blood retreats back into him. He sleep-talks, "Best you are, Susan!"
Gilly lies there with smoke lines rising up from the spider-webbed burns on his fur and skin. His recent bout with Mecha-deva has left large lacerations on his upper torso and hindquarters with a steadily expanding pool of blood underneath him. His only movement is the occasional twitch.
Gilly Dreams: Two human knights is full plate armor duel, the green knight's armor is so tight that Gilly can see her belly button. Are they wearing metal on their feet? Gross. Surrounding the fight are four men providing unconcerned commentary. Gilly is unimpressed with this dream, he presses the button with two triangles pointing to the right.
Gilly is a small green circle trying to stay inside a circle in a circle. He dodges enemies, pentagons, squares, triangles, not green. He's bad at it and he dies many times. Lo fi beats comforts him, soothes each death. The men talk about baking cookies and banana bread. Gilly hits the button with a bent stick and two half circles. A merry little surge of electricity piped by automatic alarm from the mood organ beside his bed awakened Gilly Geitmann. Surprised-it always surprised him to find himself awake without prior notice-he rose from the bed, stood up in his multicolored pajamas, and stretched. Now, in her bed, his wife Zeige opened her gray, unmerry eyes, blinked, then groaned and shut her eyes again. Something something Penfield, he couldn't remember. He hit the button that looked like a circle with the left side flattened. "Why isn't it working?"
Gilly falls over unconscious from his accumulated wounds but not before straining to say, "Stupid sith wannabe."
Gilly moves around responding to some unseen stimulus or perhaps just acting normally as explosions, well, explodes around him.
Gilly rolls his eyes waiting for an attack.
Gilly says, "Who me?" He whispers to apparently no one, "I'm right behind you. You know, not literally though." Gilly starts to sneak up with the rest of his crew but quickly abandons it. He charges forward drawing fire and causing a distraction. He shifts a his stance subtly ready for incoming missiles and uses his big shield for cover.
Gilly gives a thumbs up.
Gilly yells while invisible, "How can I see if my eyes are invisible!?"
Gilly selects three of the potions mentioned and drinks them them. "Tastes like red." When the disembodied voice talks about draconic creatures Gilly brightens up, "Sounds like Abishai, this will be fun!" He follows Telin on the ground for now.
Gilly hangs the strange device on his horns and makes a check motion with his hand.
"I used to think rocks were eggs for earth elementals. And I still wonder once in a while, but not about that. The bard will be in the soup, you'll see. Under the light a fire when you see the whites of their eyes on you
Gilly makes small talk with Tak while the other search for clues, "Have you ever eaten at Vander's? I had an owlbear-egg omelet. I don't know where they got the owlbear egg. The dog I had as a kid looked a lot like an owlbear. Except smaller And no beak."
Ever present, thinking about Gilly doing a handstand.
Gilly looks fondly at the mithral cube as he picks it back up and caresses it. He consoles the cube, "Don't worry WCC we won't let you get incinerated."
Gilly looks pointedly at Eleven when Telin makes such an insensitive and probably racist comment. Then back at Telin with a look of disgust. Then back to Eleven with revulsion as she continues to dig through Mecha-Deva's brain. Then at Tak because he's purple. He throws up his hands in exasperation.
Gilly screams in a high pitched voice at Elevens vivisection, "Grooooossss!"
Gilly taps his legs and rubs his chin but then suddenly says while pointing upwards, "Ah ha!" As he draws his dan bong Gilly says, "Powers as my judge meet the Magic Dragon!" He then takes the short and small (for Gilly) club-like weapon and tries to lock the weapon arm of Mecha-Deva.
Gilly grins wildly and a single tear runs down from his cheek as well, "Betcha didn't know Gilly's fought Abishai!" He stows his madu and lunges at Mecha-Deva trying to underhook it's arm.
Gilly changes his stance subtly to favor his arms over his legs for attacking, while planting all four legs for better leverage.
He says, "I've had just about enough of you berk!" and swings with a haymaker. Gilly gives his opponent some breathing room, but still waives him forward.
Gilly unleashes his war cry, ”Calculating descriptive hen!” He tosses the mithral cube directly behind him with a melodic clang. He then draws his Madu and shifts into a defensive stance. Suddenly, Gilly rears up onto two legs and tries to kick Mecha-Deva right in the face.
A s#+!-eating grin crosses Gilly's face.
Gilly yells as Kolyarut is run through, "Modron Michael Dorn, nooooooo!" Face red with anger at the loss of his dear friend, Gilly charges the robot angel with all his might.
"Take that Mecha-Deva!"

Gilly imagines the guns that he's missing out on and says to no one, "Needs more dakka." Gilly leaps and bounds towards the battle still carrying the mithral cube above his head. He yells back to Telin, "I'm some bust brain-boxes gonna!"
Gilly charges as fast as he can towards the smoke and where the dots are descending. "Heeeey!", he yells, "those modrons can't hog all the fun!"
Giving a heads up me and my wife just had an accepted offer to buy a house. I'll try to keep up here but it may be sporadic for the next month or so while we work toward finishing the deal and then start moving, selling our current place, etc.
Gilly gallops to the exit to see what the disturbance is with a giant grin on his face.
Gilly leers at Telin, "Leave the bow! But don't forget your towel!"
Gilly's muscles glisten in the light as he carries the mithral box. He presses it with one arm and then the other seemingly effortlessly. He flexes afterwards. Gilly pulls out a basket from his bag that has not right containing it and looks at it fondly stroking it's gray reeds, lingering on what vaguely looks like a misshapen cat face. He sets it on the ground but comes back for it a moment later. He says to Devic hopefully, "Big guns?"
Gilly bucks wildly for no reason.
"Why have guns without gun carriage?" Gilly lifts the cube above his head and carries it.
Kobold Klan, I would PM you but you have that disabled.

Gilly frowns at Telin but then smiles "Wouldn't want that! No siree Bob." When Telin starts talking to Devic again he subtlety touches a nearby rune.
Gilly asks, "To make the water run do you give it little watery legs?" Gilly answers Devic, "Thought it would be fun to to get out of town! What does this do?" Gilly moves to touch one of the runes.
Oh no! Take care of yourself. We'll be here when you're ready.
Gilly waves at the man, "Gilly was helping the modron knock on your door! HI! The modron seems to have left."
Gilly backs up 10ft and frowns as Telin has gotten in his way, "No fun!" He considers charging the door again despite Telin's presence but gets distracted by a butterfly that appears to have been crafted out of metal and gears. He begins chasing it laughing.
Gilly waves goodbye as his new friend leaves, "Have fun!" He turns to Telin and explains matter-of-factly, "New was our knocking having trouble the was friend on door. Gilly helped so!" He nods knowingly, "Heard be the can Gilly's noise knocking above." The goat-man looks at the door expectantly. While he waits Gilly rhymes "Knock on the lock,
Gilly nods while saying, "Oooooh." He then motions for RD-4D4 to move to one side, "Lemme try!" Irregardless of whether his new friend moves he trots ten feet back, Gilly lowers his head, and yells, "Ramming speed!" He then charges the door.
