Sheila's letter came with a small map of Kaer Maga with the location of Horus Ilaktya’s store in Ankar-Te clearly marked.

"Well then as you are all ready," says the dwarf giving his beard one final pat (and his rings one final fourish). "I am Galdur Brassclaw the XXI, and I am to.... His eyes suddenly widen and he points to the elemental. "Shuler! Look out!"

The massive elemental reaches its arms around everyone as rocks begin falling from overhead. It leans over the party to shield them from the avalanche. The thudding of heavy boulders reverberate through the element and it tips over rolling into the stony floor and carries the party with them.

Everything is dark for a brief moment and Shuler is impossibly still the party still wrapped in his incredible arms. Then the thudding decreases and eventually stops.

"Shuler?" asks Galdur.

He is answered by a slight rumbling, like earth rolling off a plough or an ice-berg calving from a glacier. The elemental stands up and slowly spreads his arms to free the party.

The dwarf's eyes twinkle in the sunlight. Yes, sunlight for the party no longer stands in the Emerald Heirloom but a place just outside Kaer Maga’s walls, atop the plateau that allows the city to tower over the surrounding landscape.

He chuckles and flashes his masterpiece jewelry, "Such a handy thing teleport. To be honest I use it much more now then before I retired from the Pathfinders." he smiles. "As I was saying, I am Galdur XXI and I am to take you to Kaer Maga. he purses lips behind his beard. 'Which I have done." He fidgets with his braid again. "So I shall return back to work now.

He points toward an open-air meat market, "Pass through there, it is called Meatgate, where poor farmers sell their wares for affordable prices. Just past Meatgate, you'll find The Gap, a large hole in the city's walls and into the city proper."

Unless someone has questions for Galdur, he bids you good by and gestures again at his eidolon. The creature falls on top of him, pushing both into the earth and they are gone.

Galdur XXII is the nephew of my -1, Galdur the XXI, who recently became a Venture Captain. I am having difficulty creating this profile just now, so to keep things moving will use this alias.

Making a -22 when my previous character is -7. I have used -22 when GMing and it will hopefully show up on the next update.

I beg to differ, unless by 'caster' you mean 'blaster.' Casters aren't all about blasting, even though my favorite offense spell is create pit the save DC means little with improved bullrush & the push evolution.

I wanted to make a tengu wizard, but worried about the Int. Then I realized I didn't have negative to Int & have enjoyed her ever since.

I wanted to make a melee grippli but worried about the Str. minus & small weapon damage. Then I made a magus, where the spell trumps the weapon. Then PBP game day ran a side contest to create a GI Joe so I made a fun looking HALO jumper. I haven't played either yet, & I only have one grippli boon but both will be fun. Fun is the point. :)

I am glad the community is in agreement: play what you want to play.

But my master jeweler summoner is partial to emerald creatures: emerald eagles, emerald lanterns, whirling vortex of emerald winds & emerald-eyed rocky brutes (elementals)

Ha Ha! Nope no crafting feats, but they would have seen more use than summoner's call which I took at first level (I've used it once). I can't say how often my 'dwarf feats' have been relevant (enough for me :). With aspect for racial bonus to a skill, I am up to a +30 on crafting Jewelry. Dwarf first, jeweler second, pathfinder third. Now my nephew, he is even more excited to be in the family business. He just might take a look at these...

People have gotten mad (as in shouting something to their GM buddy at another table) that I didn't have haste. Of course that GM buddy cried out "I hate you" when I first introduced myself as a summoner for just the other reason. You can't win them all I suppose.

I also spent an evolution point on me via aspect for skilled. :) My family made the crown sitting on Stavian's head after all.

This is my -1 and is now level 11. I didn't quite make day job his focus, but I made it his primary RP characteristic. As my first his feats are kind of all over the place. I didn't really have anything to add to his eidolon so added it to me instead.

Galdur XXII, his nephew, well he will be a little more focused on day job, but not a whole lot. :)

Thanks for GMing all three, it really helped build a story. :) I do wonder if the author plans a part 4. Something about a freed lich maybe? :)

Galdur twists an emerald on his rings and catches the light. The sparkle bursts and the eidolon appears next to the dwarf. Both move to surround the golem and the eidolon smashes a fist into the creature.

Galdur moves toward the paladin though his short legs can't carry him all the way. He points with the ring again and unleashes another creature of power at the second golem. The horns on this one resemble a hammer-head shark, much like his outsider friend.

FWIW: falling into the pit does
5d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 5, 6, 6) = 23 falling damage and spikes (which you rolled) climbing the spiked pit also deals 2d6 spike damage, but it is unlikely to get through DR if it has any.

GM:
Does a large creature need to occupy all four squares of the create pit to be affected? The bull rush (any CM) negates the need for a reflex save. Depending on timing, it may not be a viable target for other attacks. That complicates in PBP, so however you rule works fine. I doubt the pit will do any harm to the golem, but I hope it reduces the number of combatants. :)

Galdur slips a ring from his finger. It magic stops functioning but allows one of the remaining rings to become active. He points a fist at the golem and unleashes a nearly invisible force of energy. What is visible resembles a giant ram's head complete with large curving horns.
Shuler De, slams at the golem again taking better care to hit though it may not hurt as much.

Galdur is listed in the surprise round. If you need an action he will cast spiked pit (DC 15) on the eastern golem. Shuler will charge that same golem if it is still around. I want Alan to go first so as not to block or drop him.

*a hundred feet is the maximum and still be able to hit hard. Galdur will use the back door, Schuler the front. I am OK with everyone using the back door if we think the other splits the party too much.

Galdur pulls out a metal rod then scrapes some earth from the ground. He rubs it against an emerald and adds some magic to make it mud. He applies the mud to Wreck's bicep making the arm bulge even more. The dwarf continues adding earth letting it meld with the half-orc's flesh until his size doubles.

The dwarf thanks the tall Morlock for showing them the backdoor. Shuler grumbles something earthy and Galdur responds in common, "it might be too tight if I do, but perhaps one of us others? What do you think Omrax, Wreck, Alan, would you like to be size of Shuler?" He follows Omrax lead and casts protection spell on himself.

Enlarge person anyone? Has the 10 minute fly on Omrax expired?
