I'll throw in my two cents - as a sporadic subscriber, this sounds great. I mostly sub for the sake of bonus PDFs; I'll grab the pocket cores, but otherwise it's pretty much limited to Lost Omens and some adventure paths, occasionally maps or standalone adventures. (I'm one of those oddballs who just buys them to read, rather than run or play.) I rarely had enough concurrent subs to qualify for the Society bonus, and still haven't opened most of those I got from Humble Bundles in years past.

After this change, I'm looking at every purchase accumulating a redeemable discount, and having an incentive to do more than the occasional review (though I wonder if there's a product age boundary, not sure how much insight they'd get from someone skimming through Second Darkness these days). I might occasionally hit the Master threshold, but I'm in no danger of reaching Legendary, and also don't really go for limited editions etc. As a consumer, I feel like it's going to be a more rewarding experience for my situation (especially if I can stack the $20 coupon with the holiday discount or clearance prices to make their annual inventory a little easier XD )

I definitely appreciate the clarity shared by the team though, especially in the resulting Q&A in this thread. Thanks for letting us know!

Something entirely too fitting about the delays and adjusted release dates for this book. Aroden's death marked the end of reliable prophecy, so of course we can't foretell when we'll get our grubby mitts on this!

I don't remember the particulars because it's been a while, but when the 2e conversion was crowdfunded, they had the various NPCs as stretch goals to get expanded treatments; not all of the NPCs were reached before the end of the campaign.

I'm one of those old-fashioned players who needs the analog version for use; I don't think I've even downloaded most of the digital copies which came with my previous sub orders, though it's nice to have some of them for quick reference one-off questions. I also wasn't too fussed by getting the book a week or two after street date, I rarely play anymore so there's no rush to having it right away. I'd dropped my subscriptions because I just wasn't interested in the latest offerings, but if their next big meta-push is Azlant or the Golden Road regions, or maybe even Arcadia, I would happily re-up. Here's hoping!

Fantastic! This is my first time posting anywhere on these forums, but I've been following the discussion in these comments since 2019 because I'm very excited about this title.

I'm sure it'll take time to go through the rest of the process, but the fact that the script was submitted is so exciting. Can't wait for this one.

Edit: Actually, since this is my first time that I'd be preordering anything -- does the preorder come with a pdf, or just the physical volume alone? If the latter, would the pdf go up for purchase later? Sorry for the n00b question. :)

Someone more authoritative would be better to say for certain - generally a bonus PDF is included if you receive a product via subscription, so if you subscribe to the PF Adventures line with this product, it should include the PDF.

I get so excited every time I see this thread light up. We haven't forgotten! (But yes will be as patient as we must <3 )

Thanks for the heads up. Is it possible to get some kind of comparison between the original 2e screen and the new Core one? I've got the older portrait four-fold and want to know if it's worth the upgrade.

I'm still here and I'll still buy it whenever you get the chance :) expectations have been managed!

I loved the concept of the Witchwarper but in practice, it didn't quite feel like what I'd hoped. Looking forward to an updated take to see if that scratches the itch! Scaling equipment and narrative battles also sound very intriguing.

In short - yes, please!

I believe I saw a member of their marketing team recently say something to the effect of, 'Most of the leadership team is new, and decisions previously made may be revisited.' So I'll keep checking on this, and if it ever does come up I'll gladly buy it (and the flip-mat if we get that also).

And if it never comes to pass, so be it.

Thank you for this clear and transparent information post. I especially like the advance notice before it goes into effect; I now can make the choice to pick up any last 'maybe' selections at the current prices. No buyer is ever truly *happy* with rate increases, but these are - as far as I've experienced with the products impacted - reasonable and fair.

Oh I know it's on indefinite hold, and has been for a year. And perhaps we'll never see it. But it costs me little to think about what could be :)

What an incredible career path! Most of the places you list, and their subsequent offerings, were hugely impactful to my tabletop gaming experience. Thank you for all your efforts along the way, and may the future be good to you!

Products have begun shipping to backers, and we are now granting the PDFs for Pathfinder Kingmaker Adventure Path products. While only a few of the products included free PDFs as a reward, we are granting backers a complete set of PDFs as a thank you for their patience.

Our CS team has been striving to catch up and response times are much improved. Again, thank you.

The bonus PDFs is a wonderful and very appreciated treat. Thank you for all your hard work! So glad to finally get these <3

I'd backed the Kingmaker 10th Anniversary project, and this evening received an email that the order for those products was pending - might be impacting the warehouse, order, and email volumes. (They'd been projecting a September shipping/ receipt timeframe.) Hopefully that also bodes well for them getting through the backlog.

Thanks for the hard work folks, it's appreciated!

I've been a huge fan of both Azlant and Thassilon, buying all the Runelords stuff and the Ruins of Azlant path. I'd really enjoy a book about those (and other) fallen civilizations; snapshots of what they were like, blurbs about how they rose and fell, ideas for what might remain of them.

Just wanted to say, thank you for sending out that email to the subscribers - I don't check the forums much so I'd had no idea on the delays. Good to know y'all are on top of it :)
