Elorin looks at the cloak. She wears it but looks decidedly uncomfortable. carrying what she can she walks out.

f Elf bard/4. Init +2/Low-Light Vision/Perception +11/ AC16, T12: FF14/

Elorin turns her head ever so slowly towards Eirel when he replies. Turning her body to match the direction she was looking in and moving, coolly over to him. Each step carefully in slow time with the next. Stalking Eirel the way a large cat would.

She reaches him after a few agonizing moments and She looks Eirel square in the eyes her intention very clear both in body language and the tone in her voice. "I wish to destroy this cult so much that it reaches back and destroys the very god itself. Eirel believe me when I say I will take that force of will and use it to stop you right now if I have to. I owe a lot to someone who is being held by these fiends and if there is a clue here that may help us then it is worth more than life to me. No matter the life!" She didn't actually mean the last part and as the words left her mouth she instantly regretted it. It showed on her face.

Tears begin to show in her eyes as she leans in to whisper once more. Her voice cracking from the tears "So stop while it is still you choice."

She allows a few moments for her words to sink in before standing up right and saying aloud. "Who is in a excruciating amount of pain." Elorin was not lying and anyone can clearly see why she knows it, as she is also in that amount of pain.
"I can see it, you clearly can not or you do you care more about destruction than healing? Destroying this place will not stop that pain. Leaving the room will. At the very least show your companion that you care about him and ask him to leave."

f Elf bard/4. Init +2/Low-Light Vision/Perception +11/ AC16, T12: FF14/

Fort Save: 1d20 ⇒ 7fort of +0, for the fail! lol

Elorin enters the room and almost immediately drops to the ground in pain.

One hand wrapped around her as much as possible and the other outstretched on the cold floor taking some of her weight. Her legs folded underneath her.

'I only know of two things that cause pain when just entering a room and seen as my weapons tutor isn't here, I'm putting it down two the first one.' She would have tried to think of a way to stop it, had her head not been busy trying to ignore the pain.

Shaking a little as she stood up, but soon righting herself she stepped forward towards what looked like an alter. Carefully looking around for any clues as to what may be gong on. Paying particular attention to the body. Though staying further than her arms length from it at this point.

perception: 1d20 + 11 - 4 ⇒ (10) + 11 - 4 = 17

**added due to simultaneous post**

"EIREL TATENAIAS STOP THAT RIGHT NOW!" She sharply shouted with a tone any stern parant would be proud of.

"There may be clues as to what is going on here and you and Who are destroying this place like petulant children. There is a dead body here, Show some respect!"

Still catching up. As I said feel free to NPC Elorin.

f Elf bard/4. Init +2/Low-Light Vision/Perception +11/ AC16, T12: FF14/

ah it happens, and the confusion is sorted.

hehe I like the puzzle, fights aren't my strong point but things like that i like.

f Elf bard/4. Init +2/Low-Light Vision/Perception +11/ AC16, T12: FF14/

hi everyone, I am back. I have missed my elven brethren.

Yes there was a mix up with the threads and I misinterpreted that.

Wow I have a lot to catch up on. please forgive me if my posts are slow while I find out what has gone on and what is going on.

CM Thank you for adding me again.

CM feel free to NPC Elorin during this encounter to not slow things down. I will post again when I am caught up.

f Elf bard/4. Init +2/Low-Light Vision/Perception +11/ AC16, T12: FF14/

Elorin pauses for a moment as she enters her sleeping area. Her first instinct is to get angered that someone has been in there but when she saw the flowers and the chain shirt she stopped her temper. Smiling at the note. She hadn't thought for one moment that her state of mind had been noticed by anyone but her.

She went to find somewhere to bath and put on her best clothing. (her ceremonial dress most likely.) Doing up her hair and wearing what jewelry she had. She put on her new gear and went to find the group. She had enough of being alone.

She will attempt to find Wil to thank him in person and Eirel. She cringed at the idea of the bad impression she may have made on him on the ship. She hadn't even acknowledged him properly.

f Elf bard/4. Init +2/Low-Light Vision/Perception +11/ AC16, T12: FF14/

Oh shush, I forgot lol.

f Elf bard/4. Init +2/Low-Light Vision/Perception +11/ AC16, T12: FF14/

hehe sorry Thalas and Wil.

Remembering that Thalas and Wil are also wood elves she speaks with them as well as Eirel. She had long thought of them as friends and brethren and had not thought about them as wood, or otherwise. They are as we all are, elves.

f Elf bard/4. Init +2/Low-Light Vision/Perception +11/ AC16, T12: FF14/

Elorin listens to the queens request. "I will do my best Queen Ciedrel. I am honored that you would trust me with this important task." She speaks clearly and honestly.

Each word is no longer tempered with anger or vengeance but it still has the timing and well thought pace of someone who is controlling themselves, their actions and their emotions.

She will request some time and access to information to learn all she can about the accord and the nature and past of the wood elves. The more she knows about them and their culture, rituals and ways. the more effective a diplomat she can be.

If this is granted she will set to the task of research immediately.

She will also speak to Eirel after the research. As a wood elf he could be useful. Not only for information but if she has a wood elf by her side it can only serve to strengthen her words to them.

f Elf bard/4. Init +2/Low-Light Vision/Perception +11/ AC16, T12: FF14/

Elven alliance yes please. after that the alchemists place.

f Elf bard/4. Init +2/Low-Light Vision/Perception +11/ AC16, T12: FF14/

cheers for explanations, I was just worried I had an outdated book or I had missed a general change of rules that all. I like the upgrade for Azlain it suits the character well.

f Elf bard/4. Init +2/Low-Light Vision/Perception +11/ AC16, T12: FF14/

Elorin was not in the mood for celebrating. She remained in her room for most of the following day. Only leaving if requested by the Queen. She remembered the last they where here and she had set up the 'elven games'. The sound of people cheering and laughing outside only served to remind her how far away that happy time seemed.

She spends the day resting and gathering her strength, both physical and mental. Getting ready to face the group and her duties once more. She would give her best and smile again she was sure, though she could not see it now.

f Elf bard/4. Init +2/Low-Light Vision/Perception +11/ AC16, T12: FF14/

ah ok.

f Elf bard/4. Init +2/Low-Light Vision/Perception +11/ AC16, T12: FF14/

so are we using non core stuff now? as I do not know much non core, no issue, just requires some reading up.

f Elf bard/4. Init +2/Low-Light Vision/Perception +11/ AC16, T12: FF14/

I am confused, Forgive the question if it is obvious, I am still not a pathfinder expert, I am still learning but are assimars core rule book? if so i have mucho plans. If not are half assimars? Just a bit confused and worried I do not have the right core rule book.

f Elf bard/4. Init +2/Low-Light Vision/Perception +11/ AC16, T12: FF14/

1d20 + 11 ⇒ (16) + 11 = 27

Elorin's pure and dark focus on her intended target makes it easy for her to see the shipless wake.

She will make the others aware that at times, there is an occasional wake where there is no ship near the witches fleet and point it out to people.

"It seems my doomed target has friends in hard to see places."

f Elf bard/4. Init +2/Low-Light Vision/Perception +11/ AC16, T12: FF14/

"I hope they are not one and the same. Killing them is still my aim, however I would not expect anyone to go to that battle who did not have nor want to."

f Elf bard/4. Init +2/Low-Light Vision/Perception +11/ AC16, T12: FF14/

It may not be best if the animals are scared. As a player I say maybe moving on might be better in the short term, as Elorin I would say, no let me kill them all!!!!!!

You can detect evil to decide who can stay, and who we slay.

I like this idea. Not bad for a best case scenario.

f Elf bard/4. Init +2/Low-Light Vision/Perception +11/ AC16, T12: FF14/

Aye

f Elf bard/4. Init +2/Low-Light Vision/Perception +11/ AC16, T12: FF14/

Elorin will drink Mage armor potion and will cast invisibility on two members of the boarding party.

*Edited*

f Elf bard/4. Init +2/Low-Light Vision/Perception +11/ AC16, T12: FF14/

Elorin's focus is purely on her target. She turns to see the looks of doubt on those around her. "We strike under the cover of darkness. We can see better, we can kill better. A sleeping foe can not defend themselves and we have the added cover of invisibility. If they are prepared for attack tonight then they are prepared for attack in the morning and a sea chase provides us with no advantage."

She was not asking. Nothing of her demeanor showed she would listen to anything but agreement and addition to the plan. She did not even look as if she was looking at them. Her eyes may have been in the direction of the group but her gaze was elsewhere. Somewhere dark and previously familiar to her.

I hope no one is offended by her current state. She reached the end of what 'kind' Elorin could cope with and now the reason the cult wanted her is becoming clearer. She has a dark side too and with the death of Talon she snapped. As a player I'm still happy and still like Seltyn's invisible and attack plan. As a character she wont wait, but she will not act stupidly. Also congrats on the wings Azlain and also the lack of pain, really enjoying that characters progression. Elorin will notice when she is calmer.

f Elf bard/4. Init +2/Low-Light Vision/Perception +11/ AC16, T12: FF14/

Elorin begins to sing:

Battle song

f Elf bard/4. Init +2/Low-Light Vision/Perception +11/ AC16, T12: FF14/

Elorin speaks to one shot. Not caring who is close enough to hear her. "One shot, you and I have a job to do this day. I know you can hear me and I know you can tell how I am feeling right now. Do not fail me and do not falter in your mission. They will die. They will all die."

Any on lookers would swear they could see fire in her eyes and ice in her heart. If such a thing were possible.

f Elf bard/4. Init +2/Low-Light Vision/Perception +11/ AC16, T12: FF14/

Elorin has a look that says if they are not killed by the ocean she will make damn sure they meet their gods face to face. Though she remains silent as any words right now would betray her calm.

f Elf bard/4. Init +2/Low-Light Vision/Perception +11/ AC16, T12: FF14/

WOOT!

f Elf bard/4. Init +2/Low-Light Vision/Perception +11/ AC16, T12: FF14/

Congratulations to you and your family. Sending you all the best.

f Elf bard/4. Init +2/Low-Light Vision/Perception +11/ AC16, T12: FF14/

Elorin waited patiently for the discussions and talks to end and for everyone to be where they needed to be.

"Death, it seems, has found us intersting. It has taken many from us and has given us reason to mourn more than most. However Death made one mistake. One vital error. When it took Talon. It made me think and when I start thinking, things start fitting into place." She pauses for a moment.
If death follows us with such vigor then let us introduce this powerful follower to our enemy. Let us show these so called enemy's what happens when you push the patience of Elves. I swear to what ever god is listening, TALON WILL BE LAST FRIEND I MOURN!"

A look of complete calm and grace is upon Elorin throughout everything she says. The look is of ice and steal, any that didn't know her would feel very intimidated by her calm anger. Rovagug himself would be jealous of her aura right now. Those that do know her can see that she truly has reached her breaking point.

f Elf bard/4. Init +2/Low-Light Vision/Perception +11/ AC16, T12: FF14/

The dwarves have been complaining about things, and they have suffered less adversity than the elves. So we will see who wants to continue when everyone comes back. Not everyone likes to play on the Hard difficulty setting.

I like the game and I like the hard difficulty. If there was one thing I could say though is this.

I can maybe understand why the dwarves are complaining. I have felt a little like leaving this game, when we have one defeat after another. I love the story so much and I chose to stick with it and I am so glad i did. I like the game and I like that is isn't to easy. But defeat is disheartening and defeat after defeat is more so.

It is very hard to want to play a game if you feel like you can never win.

There has to be the hope that you get to win. Even if you lose a lot, you need to feel you can sometimes come out on top. If you lose hope you lose motivation.

For us we started doing better when we spoke IC about what to do, we need to plan better as a team of players so our characters can work well together. BUT IT IS IMPORTANT for the DM to make sure we are put into scenarios we have a chance of beating. and more than one chance.

I know I have written scenarios that where Many CR's above the party level and for one group it was easy enough, they beat it in a matter of rounds and with another group it was a TPK. Though for me the solution was obvious, either I had not given enough clues or information for the group to make a informed decision or they did not put 2 and 2 together to make 4. Sometimes you have to adjust as you go for different partys. We may all be level 4/5 characters but we are not all level 4/5 players.

I hope that it is ok for me to say that. I like you as a DM and I do like the game and would like to keep playing. But it is something I have thought about in the past with this game. I can also only judge situations based on my experience, I can not speak for anyone else and this is not a criticism at all. Only something I had noticed and thoughts I had gone through with this game.

f Elf bard/4. Init +2/Low-Light Vision/Perception +11/ AC16, T12: FF14/

Ah, I wasn't sure which one was alive, hence the ooc question. Hehe thank you.I may not be able to charm people but my arrows fly true lol

f Elf bard/4. Init +2/Low-Light Vision/Perception +11/ AC16, T12: FF14/

Elorin takes aim with the bow and shoots an arrow at the closest fighter to her. (I believe it is fighter 1?) "For you Talon"

'to hit': 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24
'damage': 1d8 + 2 + 2d6 ⇒ (5) + 2 + (3, 5) = 15

f Elf bard/4. Init +2/Low-Light Vision/Perception +11/ AC16, T12: FF14/

perhaps you get wings but no bonuses to anything till you get the feat. Just fluff stuff for your character.

f Elf bard/4. Init +2/Low-Light Vision/Perception +11/ AC16, T12: FF14/

Elorin moves to Talon and picks up One shot.

whispering to him Sorry Talan Moonwalkersoftly places a kiss on his cheek and arms herself with one shot.

f Elf bard/4. Init +2/Low-Light Vision/Perception +11/ AC16, T12: FF14/

Hi, just a heads up I will be busy from 23rd Dec to the 27th Dec. I know people have different busy time over this hol, those are mine.

f Elf bard/4. Init +2/Low-Light Vision/Perception +11/ AC16, T12: FF14/

Elorin will throw some blessings around.

'Hmm so I am clearly not as charming as I thought. Well there is a rather splendid naked Elf to distract them and it has been a while since I used that skill.'

She performs Inspire courage (+1).

f Elf bard/4. Init +2/Low-Light Vision/Perception +11/ AC16, T12: FF14/

Feeling a little bullied by the witch and her friends. 'First they sink a ship and try to kill the rest of us, then they come here and start a fight. I am so sick of being pushed around by big brutes who think it is ok to take by force!' Something inside her steeled her thoughts and she fixates on the fighters in front of here.(Specifically Fighter 2)

She reaches deep into her past and remembers something.

Casts Charm person on fighter 2:

She looks straight at the fighter an says. "Your fellow fighters are bullying a young girl as she travels with her friends. Stop your friends from trying to bully me. I know you are the strongest and I bet they think they are with their brutish tactics. A smart guy like you would know what to do. I would be eternally in your debt.

Even if he passes his Save at least he will notice another enemy and possibly not all gang up on you guys and come after me, the poor bullied Elven maid.

f Elf bard/4. Init +2/Low-Light Vision/Perception +11/ AC16, T12: FF14/

Of course I do Thalas, any input to help the group is welcome.

f Elf bard/4. Init +2/Low-Light Vision/Perception +11/ AC16, T12: FF14/

Elorin having seen Talon fall for the second time and seeing her fellow fighters caught in his spell she steps forward so everyone can hear and see here and performs Inspire courage (+1).

f Elf bard/4. Init +2/Low-Light Vision/Perception +11/ AC16, T12: FF14/

Woo hoo nearly a year. this is the very first online table top role playing game I ever played and ever applied for. I had been playing pathfinder and table top gaming in person for only a few months before this game. this has been a wonderful experience for me.

I remember applying for this and being so excited when I got in. Can not believe that was a year ago. Yes I have absolutely enjoyed the parts I have been here for. It has been great, can not wait to see where the game takes us.

:( poor talon. Dead by traps and Gnoll's then dead again, surrounded by fighters during his first spell.

Perception/sense motive (do not know which it would be so rolled both. Ignore one not needed.)to see that the warrior is torn?

Perception:
1d20 + 11 ⇒ (19) + 11 = 30

Sense motive:
1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 20

IF NOTICED:

"Do not step in if your heart wont allow it. There is an accord here and we must all do out best to keep it. To not violate this holy ground. You are a great warrior and we would be blessed to have some as strong as yourself by our side,BUT! There is time for fighting and time for keeping our word."She smiles comfortingly at him.

I am NOT aiming to get his help, I am aiming to let him know I agree with his choice and that we too are struggling with the same thoughts.

f Elf bard/4. Init +2/Low-Light Vision/Perception +11/ AC16, T12: FF14/

"Hehe"

f Elf bard/4. Init +2/Low-Light Vision/Perception +11/ AC16, T12: FF14/

Elorin turns to Thalas confused.

"What is a customer service desk?"

not sure what round we are on but if it is round 2 she will repeat what she did in round 1, ready and action to cast inspire courage, under the same circumstances. If it is not round 2 yet then ignore till round 2."

f Elf bard/4. Init +2/Low-Light Vision/Perception +11/ AC16, T12: FF14/

Elorin will ready an action to inspire courage should anyone she sees as an enemy, attack anyone who she see as an ally. (If an ally attacks an enemy she will not inspire courage until the enemy has retaliated.)

She will not attack nor move until she has to.

"This should not happen at all, and most definitely should not happen here. Are you so eager to start a fight here on strangers land? Are you not used to leading smart men, more thuggish brutes? or would you rather attempt the challenges in this place and win your prize. Let the challenges be our proving ground, not a fight. A battle of whits and skill, not blood. We are up for a challenge, after a exhausting sea battle, are you ready? or are you sure we would beat you to the prize that you feel the need to fight us now?"

f Elf bard/4. Init +2/Low-Light Vision/Perception +11/ AC16, T12: FF14/

Elorin stands up and in a stern and very loud voice speaks: "This is not the place to fight. This is neutral ground and we shall ALL respect it. IF you wish to finish what you started on the sea then we shall do it else where."

She softens her tone. just a little. "The people here are not part of this and should not be brought into it by any of us."
