As I read the Cults of the Sundered Kingdoms, I realize immediately that even though I appreciate greatly the work done here - later I am going to totally want the gazateer part of the work in a compilation down the road when the material is available.
Just something to think about and hopefully plan for.

So if I haven't received the CD2 file (which I don't really want), does that mean I won't get a copy of the book either?
Steve, I really don't know. I don't have access to that info. But if there's confusion, it's best to shoot Chris an e-mail. He can get that info for you. But if you bought the book either with this KS or as part of the subscription a while back, then as far as I know you should be receiving both.
Sorry I'm not more help for you than that. :-/

Btw, Chris tells me that the corrected version of Cults of the Sundered Kingdoms including the Sundered Kingdoms poster map is now available for download. I checked it out, and it is there complete with map. Sorry about the confusion on that. I'm talking with Chuck to find out how to streamline that process so that integral poster maps get included in pdfs when necessary going forward. I don't like that our electronic fulfillment is so bumpy sometimes. However, Bill tells me that the hardcopy versions of the book that he has seen do have the poster maps included, so my heart attack is officially averted. :-)

If anyone is wondering why the United States Postal Service is bleeding money, let me entertain you with facts:
I live in Northeast Ohio, the Youngstown area. Tracking my CotSK package, it left it's home in Washington and then arrived in Cincinnati last week. Then it went to Flushing Meadows, NY. Then it came back to Cleveland.
At that point, I said, "I'll have it in a day or two, but that was a weird way for the post office to route things."
I was wrong.
It then went to Warrendale, PA, and as of yesterday, it was back in Cincinnati.
I'm tempted to go to my local post office and tell them to hold it in Cincinnati, and I'll just make the five-hour drive and pick it up myself since logistics seems to be a sticking point for them.
Or, before Greg yells at me, I'll finish that Lost Lore piece I'm working on. :) (ALMOST DONE!!!)

I'm having a lot of trouble downloading my pdf from the FGG website. Is this normal? I've tried three times; it keeps getting about 60% of the way through, then just stopping. Apologies if this isn't the place to ask.
I had issues with downloading really large PDFs, think there's a timeout if the download takes too long. I used to multi-download several things at one and would run into it. To get the big PDF to download, I just started the download and walked away and it would succeed. My bandwidth isn't great, so I'm sure that's a big factor of why it happens to me.

I've often had problems with downloading from the FGG site. I think one source of problem has been when they send a link and I try to download direct from the email, rather than going to the site, logging in and finding the download myself. The latter has a much higher success rate for me (although large files still sometimes give me hassles).

Shipping update!! It gets better!!
The package left Cincinnati and went to Memphis, Tenn. So after criss-crossing my location, it just went south.
Now it's back in Pennsylvania.
Definitely having a talk with the post office tomorrow.
If you plot its route on a map, does it draw an unholy summoning symbol of Tsathogga? Don't let them complete it, it could doom us all...

Too late. Justmebd shoulda' got that manuscript in sooner. Now, I'm afraid it's all of humanity that will suffer...
El Ronza, I have run into that problem with big files on my squirrel-y little laptop before (whether from FGG or elsewhere). Chrome just craps out on me regularly for some reason on those big downloads. When I go in through Explorer and try it, when it times out on me it pauses and gives me the option to unpause (something Chrome wouldn't) and then it goes through just fine. I don't know why, but that has been my experience anyway.

Ugg.
Just got back from the post office. It is clear why that organization is bleeding money.
According to their printout, there is a "Label Encoding Error," which is code for the label got ripped somewhere. So I said, "Can you call the facility where it's at right now and get it fixed?"
"No, we can't do that," she replied.
"Because that would make sense," I said.
She smiled and agreed with me 100%, then told me to contact their customer service line. A line that will not let you talk to a human and just says the package is "Delayed."
I sent an email through their contact page. It didn't make me feel any better.
So, if Bill gets this package back, he should demand a refund of his shipping charges, but somehow I doubt that will happen.
Good news: Manuscript down to a final polish and the last few crunch bits. John should have it Wednesday at the latest.
Woohoo!!

After reading about your travails, I hesitate to post this in comparison, but I also had trouble with my order of the vellum map. It went out to the sorting facility promptly with an anticipated delivery date of August 2. For 12 days nothing changed with the tracking info. It was still there...somewhere. 12 days later, it appeared in Atlanta and was fairly quickly delivered to Kentucky, but it was roughly two weeks late. Two weeks seems like nothing compared to what you are going through, though!
