I have also sent in an email but since email is so backed up for you I wanted to make sure this was addressed in time.

My Pathfinder Battles subscription is showing the wrong price $358.18 instead of $279.99. It also is not showing the discounted case incentive included.

Please fix these things before shipping and thank you for your time!

A while back I purchased a ton of pathfinder comics on humble bundle. I loved them, and it was nice being able to print out the game-relevant information from the back to use.

I can't seem to find where to buy more of these pdfs? How do I get my hands on more comic book pdfs? I don't see them in the comic book pages on the paizo store.

Hello!

My subscriptions were set to cancel after pathfinder 1 and to not send me any pathfinder 2 material, but the new adventure path is showing in the most recent order that was generated and emailed to me. Would you please double check that anything with Pathfinder 2 rules is removed from my order?

Thanks!
Nick

Is there any way to set up my subscriptions like this?

I'd like to cancel all of my pathfinder subscriptions before they become pathfinder second edition, but want to finish out the 1st edition and get those last books. I figured I could time it and just cancel after the last of the 1st edition stuff comes out but due to Gencon holds it looks like the next shipment would include some of each?

Please let me know the best way to handle this. Also I'd like to keep the flip-tiles/map and miniatures subscriptions but cancel anything with second edition rules.

Thanks!

Grand Lodge

Please cancel all of my subscriptions except for the pathfinder and starfinder adventure paths.

Thank you!

Hello!

This order did not go through, the credit card should be good so would you be so kind as to just run it again? Thanks!

Hello!

I wanted to cancel a few of my subscriptions:

Pathfinder Comics
Pathfinder Legends
Pathfinder Adventure Card Game Class Deck Subscription (But want to keep the standard adventure card game subscription)
Pathfinder Cards (think you stopped making these anyway)
Pathfinder Pawns

Just in case you wanted feedback:

Comics are a frustratingly small read for me. I like the compiled books a lot, if you had a subscription to just those I would probably get that. My main reason for sticking it out with the comics this long was the map / golarion information in the back.

I enjoyed the legends for reference on things I was running I just don't have time to listen to them.

The class decks weren't getting used. We love the standard card game but the organized play experience wasn't quite as fun for us.

I may restart these in the future, just being budget conscious for now.

I'm not sure if this has been addressed in other threads as I'm just getting caught up on a lot of things.

Is there a chance we can have the main road outlined better on the in-game map when it's updated?

Are the guards that are currently implemented in the game the extent of what we'll be seeing in Early Enrollment or will there be more/better ones along the main road?

I've been guiding people around a bit and these 2 things have popped up as questions a few times.

Thanks!

Hello!

I updated my payment method recently, as my credit card had expired, and it hasn't processed the payment for my subscription yet. Not sure if I need to do anything for it to happen (some of my orders have gotten "stuck" before) so thought I'd mention it here.

Thanks!

I recently ordered some items and chose to have them ship with my next subscription shipment. My subscription, however, has changed the date of shipment 4 times since then and now lists the end of August for my next shipment. I don't want to wait that long for the items I've ordered if that is the case.

Can anyone tell me the real date for the next subscription shipment going out for me? If it is sometime in August, can we ship everything in my sidecart (including the "suspended" Emerald Spire book) in a separate shipment? I'll pay the extra shipping, I just don't want to wait 2 months from date of purchase. I'm not upset, just eager. :D

Much appreciated.

The subject order contained everything else from the kickstarter print pack, including the emerald spire flip-mats, but my Emerald Spire Hardcover did not arrive. Others I know received their emerald spire book with their flip-mats and I just wanted to make sure mine was not forgotten!

Please advise and thanks!

As one of the many people recruiting for the land rush, I've noticed there are a great number of people that don't fully understand the land rush mechanics. Could we get clarifications on some various points sent out via a kickstarter announcement? The following are all issues I've seen:

1. People believe that their guild pack bonuses require them to stay together. Many of these packs won't disband because they believe they might lose some of the benefits they've paid for.

2. Many people still believe this is just about their "guilds" and not about settlements. They have no idea that the land rush is really about "shopping for a home" if they don't intend to compete with the larger settlements.

3. Many people believe that the Land Rush website will convert to in-game guilds. They are not aware that they'll still have to create those guilds once they are in-game anyway.

The word guild is used throughout this instead of company because that is how all of the people who do not follow the forums perceive their organizations still.

Can we get a clear and concise message sent out to people to clarify these points? Concise being the key word to avoid the "TLDR" issue.

I put up a new post using the crowd-forging site here:
Vote Here

This perhaps isn't in the true spirit of crowdFORGING, however crowdClarifications should be a thing too.

Recruiting has gotten to the point that every leaderboard listing that has a website has the same 5-6 people posting to pull new people in. It made me feel like a vulture so I just stopped doing it. I do however want these people to at least know what is going on right now and how it could affect their future in the game.

I have a lot of information to compile here. I've tried to format this in such a way where you can just read the bolded lines for the short answers, but more details are given to cover any areas of concern.

Settlement: Talonguard
We're currently located at K in the land rush, and aim to keep this location. We've chosen this location because it will eventually be the likely first stop along the road for good aligned characters. The good aligned starting city (which is not yet implemented) will be to the NorthWest of the land rush map along the road. We wanted to make sure that good aligned characters' first experience in the game outside the starting area is a good one. Talonguard has themes of independence and protection and this location is in keeping with that.

Alignment: Neutral Good
We lean more towards law than chaos, and strive to keep a high reputation. There will be paladins and lawful good characters on our streets. As such, evil would be hard pressed to find a permanent home here and chaos is questionable. True Neutral are allowed but we prefer that they are more good-leaning than evil. Chaotic Good characters may be able to find a home here depending on how they live out those alignments. Desnans, for example, are often chaotic but not necessarily for reasons of violence. Our primary concern with our residents is that they do not keep a low reputation, and therefore stunt settlement development.

Chartered Companies: Magistry, Steel City Knights, Ash Knights, Dragonblade Mercenaries
Magistry - A tight knit group of settlement minded players dedicated to Talonguard's success
Steel City Knights - Another tight knit group of friends and adventurers
Ash Knights - A division of Magistry players. Participation in one guild does not represent participation in the other. The Ash Knights are an order of protectors and more PVP focused. They specialize in protection of Talonguard as well as its supporting Outposts & POIs, but may see to affairs outside the settlement's interests as well.
Dragonblade Mercenaries - "Your coin, is our promise" Mercenary guards for hire.

Settlement Focus: Protection/Fortification, Specific Craft Facilities, A Strong Economy, Arcane/Martial Training Facilities (See below for other class training)
Protection/Fortification - Our biggest aim is to protect our resident companies and citizens. We'll be aiming in general for settlement upgrades that help with the defense of the settlement as a priority.
Craft Facilities - We will try to support all crafts to some extent, with a specific focus on the crafts used in settlement construction, settlement defense and crafts that utilize highlands hex resources.
A Strong Economy - Not originally a focus, but being at a crossroads on the map we will certainly utilize our position for positive trade and economy.
Arcane/Martial Training Facilities - No settlement can have everything and so our focus will be on arcane and martial training facilities. However, we have secured diplomatic relations/training alliances with a settlement that focuses on divine/rogue facilities.

Who We're Looking For!: Companies and independent characters that are either settlement or protection minded. If you are otherwise good-natured and want to make your home in a place like this, we're interested in you too.
Would-be members of any of the chartered companies listed are of course always welcome. We're also seeking more chartered companies to share our walls with for a strong society made up of independent companies and individuals. We want to provide the freedoms for each resident company to do its own thing without expectation. The only expectation we have is that you defend your home in time of need. We hope to see more settlement minded groups take up residence with us.

You can find our listing on the land rush here: Talonguard
Our New Forum is Here: Settlement Forum - (Mostly empty, will fill in as our various members start registering - this is being hosted on the Magistry website and registration is required to view most forums)

I also wanted to include a Q&A between Brother Zael and me from the previous thread:

BrotherZael wrote:
How does Magistry feel about me, hmmm?

Mostly apathy, but I blame your plague doctor mask.

BrotherZael wrote:
What do you have planned for diplomats (as in the skill training/buildings, not embassies and treaties and whatnot)?

PLANNED? Nothing quite yet. We aren't barring our gates though, and further can't really be determined until we know more about the in-game mechanics.

BrotherZael wrote:
What is your objective size, both population and area (I understand exact boundaries will not be existent)?

We'll be seeking non-aggressive expansion for the most part, and our objective population will be whatever can efficiently operate the settlement and surrounding structures/POI. This will probably have a lot to do with how active the average member of the settlement is. Settlement protection is also a concern when it comes to population. Our primary concern, in fact.

BrotherZael wrote:
What are taboos?

Sometimes we let Calistrians in... OH, OHHH, not what you meant. As a settlement laws/rules may pop up by popular opinion but Magistry rule #1 is just "be good to each other". Other than that we don't really want to be policing people constantly.

BrotherZael wrote:
Is there any sort of behavior (in-game rp stuff, not like grieving and whatnot) that you are against/won't allow?

Only alignment concerns come to mind. As a Neutral Good settlement (with more of a lawful leaning than a chaotic one) certain RP might clash with other characters at the settlement. I'm sure the settlement wouldn't take too kindly to one of its members putting out a contract on another.

BrotherZael wrote:
What is your disposition of armed forces (be vague if you wish, I'm asking what you feel about mercs making up some guard slots)?

We hopefully won't need to use mercenaries to guard our settlement, but if it came down to it, the protection of our people comes first. (Answer is, not likely)

BrotherZael wrote:
What is your look on alignments?

Neutral Good is the popular choice, Lawful good fully supported and appreciated. Chaotic good gets some wary eyebrows as troublemakers but should fit in okay with the right attitude. True Neutral preferably good leaning.

BrotherZael wrote:

We've been reluctant to label any of these since we really have no idea how they'll be implemented. We favor the oligarchy (ruling council), and we'll be getting input from companies and independent members of the settlement on as many issues as we can. We know that they'll only be implementing dictatorship to start, unfortunately. The specifics of when council members are changed and how it's done have not been worked out yet, and likely won't be until in-game mechanics are made available and we know how those work.

The boards have been relatively boring today, so I figured it might be a good time to gauge interest in an Orlando, FL meet and greet. Most of them don't post but I can grab 10-15 people from Magistry to drink various spirits and spread merriment.

Any other locals or travelers that this might interest closer to early enrollment?

We have this fantastic gaming pub opening up:

The Cloak & Blaster

Don't forget this is not a game setting so no PKing. Also it's not an Irish Pub so no P-RoughingUp either.

Greetings!

I'm currently seeking out tight knit groups and independent agents that want to keep their individual identities to team up with the Magistry for the betterment of a Neutral Good Settlement. Where exactly is still to be determined by the land rush results, but if our choices go well we'll be located in the North.

We will be an ideal location for small groups that want to come together for the protection of the settlement's inhabitants, but otherwise have the freedom to do their own thing.

You can find our listing on the land rush here:
https://goblinworks.com/landrush/guild/7

The Current Settlement Focus:
Upgrading the defensibility of the settlement
Upgrading facilities used for crafts that upgrade the defensibility of the settlement
Arcane and Martial training facilities
We will also be working towards facilities for other tradeskills, prioritized after those that contribute to settlement defense upgrades
(Preferably non-aggressive) Expansion
(More to be announced by location)

Current Settlement Support:
The Magistry itself is about 35 members strong at the moment (though more will be joining us later) with some of our settlement support already coming from The Steel City Knights, and independents. In order to build a successful settlement though we will need, and want, the support of at least a couple other moderate sized companies and as many free agents and small companies as we can. We've also started discussions with other friendly groups towards lucrative trade agreements.

This settlement will also be supported by the Ash Knights, Magistry's combat & PvP focused division. The Ash Knights are a separate Protector Company with more of a PVP focus than Magistry proper, but their guild announcement has been withheld until after the initial land rush.

Dysfunctional Forums:
I wanted to make a settlement thread but unfortunately the ability to edit posts is a no-go around these parts, so after today I'll let this thread fall off the great cliff of page 1 (All threads die on page 2 from suffocation, it's in the rulebook somewhere). The name of the settlement will depend on location and a new thread will be started tomorrow when it's finalized. (Not that anything in the land rush is really final after the first week but we'll at least know if we got our preferred terrain type.)

The Magistry

Name: Magistry
Alignment: Neutral Good
Preferred Alignments: LG/NG/LN Ideal, CG/N acceptable
Purpose: Settlement development, protection of our own and a campaign against banditry.
Player Roles Accepted: All
Website: game.magistry.com/pfo/
- Please note that our website is under development and development should finish in the next couple of weeks.

Pre-Game History:
The Magistry has been around in some incarnation or another for 18 years, and we continue to game with old and new faces in a multitude of game universes. We like to create tight knit communities and encourage cliques and subgroups within our ranks.

Ideology:
The Magistry in Pathfinder Online will have a focus on cooperative play within our ranks, and a unified front against banditry. I want to make sure we're honest about what we're expecting to do within the game, and what our members will likely be doing. Many companies will advertise themselves as new player friendly and pad their numbers as best they can but that's just not our goal. We are certainly friendly to new players, but we aren't JUST looking to increase our numbers. We want long term players, old or new that want to be part of a greater organization while still able to work individually. We're a kind group, and great people, but I can't promise that our membership will be the first to jump up when someone says "Can someone help me with X". Instead we'd like to see new members that take an active part in the things already going on in our community, being helpful and friendly, and cultivating long term friendships that will help them accomplish their own ambitions. We intend to work together to develop a settlement, part of a settlement or part of multiple settlements. We intend to protect our own, and stand up for each other. We will take an active participation in eradicating bandits from our local area, but will likely stay out of the politics of other nations. If you want to stand up for the world at large there are certainly other great Neutral Good organizations like the Empyrean Order. If you want to be part of an organization that takes care of its own people, will actively work toward community development, and will put the safety of its people before the politics of other nations then we might be a fantastic fit.

Who Should Join The Magistry?: The Magistry is an ideal organization for those that want to be a part of an organization that's more like a family than a community, but still has efficiency and productivity in mind. We intend to be Neutral good, with more of a lawful leaning than a chaotic one. The religious outlook section of our webpage here:

http://game.magistry.com/pfo/the-guild/religious-outlook/

should give players a better idea of our in-game ideals and who best fits our ranks than anything. We intend to have more of a focus on Arcane/Martial than anything else but we have a healthy appreciation for the divine and will have many divine members. Nature/Wilderness oriented characters will probably be the most neglected (though not turned away) simply because of our focus on arcane/martial for settlement development.

Our Rules:
We really have one rule: Be good to each other. We don't work on a rule system. There are actions that represent the type of person we accept and there are actions that don't. If you find that you're attacking people randomly, turning to banditry, and just generally being offensive you may find yourself removed. At the same time we're pretty comfortable with obscene humor and bad language. If something comes across as offensive but wasn't intended to be don't worry about it. We care less about being PC and more about being supportive when it matters. Really we're just here to have fun, so let's do that.

Joining The Magistry:
For now, just send me a message on these forums or at Athansor@gmail.com and let me know why you'd like to join our ranks, then apply for membership on the goblinworks site. When our Pathfinder Online forums get added this post will be updated with a new process.

Mumble Usage: We have a permanent 30 person mumble server that will be used for our in-game endeavors closer to release. Usage is optional but

SETTLEMENT DEVELOPMENT!: This is a big one, really. The Magistry is certainly interesting in developing a home settlement and claiming a hex that suits our goals. We are looking for like minded people that either have no desire to be in a company, or are part of another company of similar alignment and interest to help develop an ideal settlement. Feel free to message or email me to further discuss (Athansor@gmail.com).

So thought I'd give a friendly notice that my subscription from December still has not shipped nor have I received access to PDFs yet.

Any help appreciated, thanks!

1 person marked this as FAQ candidate.

For an adamantine buckler I'm really not sure how to do the pricing, and sadly, neither is hero lab.

I've seen a lot of posts that shields are priced as weapons for adamantine, but a buckler specifically can not be used as a weapon. (Short of improvised)

I really just want it for the additional hardness/hp, but the -1 to armor check penalty doesn't hurt.

I'm looking for a "RAW Ruling" on this because I want to use it for a pathfinder society character.

Thanks!

Probably too late for this, but I know I'd chip in $100 for a limited edition gargantuan fig, maybe something emerald spire related.

Since the rune giant sells for $40, I assume there would be a decent profit in that even after shipping.

Anyone else have some decent ideas for Goblinworks? Remember when throwing your ideas out there that they need to actually profit off of these add-ons!

Grand Lodge Goblin Squad Member

The PDF package that was added to the kickstarter rewards is really quite nice. I was thinking that there are likely a lot of Pathfinder Pen & Paper players that come here and for the most part ignore the Pathfinder online threads and information.

So would it be possible to add the PDF package to the front page of paizo.com? Some people might support the kickstarter just for that package, and while there grow even more interested in the Print pack add-on.

More money and more interest in PFO in one foul swoop?!

Just a thought.
