When it's all said and done and the last 32 + alternates are set, would you consider revealing which other items initially made the keeper pile but couldn't survive the cut from there?
-1.
We'll know who the top 32 are; presumably, those who want feedback will get an idea of how their item did.
I don't think it's right to preemptively post anything about specific entries that didn't get in.

It could be revealed by item name; that's still person-anonymous.
Does that at all alleviate your concerns? I'm not sure I understand the angle of your objection.

I find the odds close to zero that they'll name the items they cut from the keep pile.
But you never know. I do know that in the past some of the judges have commented on specific items in a separate thread, once the final 32 have been announced.
Edit: Frankly, I'd be much happier with the simple "you're not in the top 32" than with "oh, yeah, your item was the last one we cut."

Personally I consider myself to be lucky that my item was one of the few, that got direct feedback in the last Feedback thread, and that the feedback was along the lines of: "Initially you were in the keep pile, but we [sadly] had to drop you for [reasons]"
Because at least I now know that I was on the right track and what I did wrong. Also I can brag among my friends, that I *nearly* made the Top 32.
And this year I will at least brag about my place int the top 32 ;)

Not entering. Given my Superstar item entry track record to date, it makes much more sense to me to sit it out this year. (Plus it should perk Urizen up, the poor chap, and save him from feeling he has to throw latin words at me... ;) )
Come on, enter.... I left a spot open :P

Noooo! You can't make the top 32: I was planning on leaving you to do all the serious reviews this year and to drop in only the occasional alias flippant feedback post.

Dear Mr. Evans,
All my feedback posts are deadly serious; I do not make flippant feedback posts. Any more of that cheek from you and I will feel obliged to strap you into a chair, prop your eyes open with astral deva nasal hairs, and compel you to watch reruns of old Adam West shows until your brain explodes. I know where you live, don't forget...
Hoping you found this feedback post helpful.
Yours,

old Adam West shows - ooooooooooooh yes please.
Camp Batman is so camp it's camp-a-licious and even today, still rollicking good fun.
Hah, your threats are as flippantly not scary as not scary can flippantly get :P
