Oh wow! That's Queen Jadwega, the first daughter of Baba Yaga and hence the first Queen of Irrisen Glinda looks rather excited at the find. She's the actual name sake of the Winter Witches, the Jadwegas.

You can't seem to tell where the voice is coming from. There doesn't seem to be anyone sitting at the dais. Again, you hear a spoken question, "Who are you? What are you doing here? Who sent you?"

![]() |

Glinda starts to explain how Baba Yaga would put a daughter on the throne every one hundred years before coming back and swapping out that daughter for a new one when she hears that voice.
Best be careful. Might be the Jadwega we were warned about
Oh. Pardon me. My name is Glinda Lovegood. We're here to deal to some bandits

![]() |

"So you're not here to arrest me or anything?"

![]() |

You hear a somewhat sigh of relief, even though the voice still sounds like it's coming from different parts of the room.
You can influence the speaker as follows:
* DC 16 Society check to persuade her that community organizing will lead to more lasting change in Irrisen
* DC 17 Intimidation check to demonstrate that you are more than capable of defeating the Foroxicks
* DC 18 Diplomacy to convince her that Queen Anastasia has Irrisen’s best interests at heart
* Any other skill at DC 18 if you can make it fit. Possible bonuses if you can sell it well (I'm an easy sell)
* Minimum Successes needed: 2+

![]() |

Come with us and I promise that I will argue towards the Pathfinder Society for more justice in Irrisen.
Society: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Society, hero point: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22
I couldn't suffer the first roll... Especially on this roll...

![]() |

Glinda, keep the HP. I'll just use Moonshadow's check.
You hear a sigh of relief coming from ... somewhere. "I'm coming out. Please don't attack me."
A few minutes pass and a lady steps into the room, followed by a pair of large dogs. "Well met, " she says, "I am Oloranvis. The former ruler of Irrisen, Queen Elvanna is my great-grandmother. I joined Foroxicks’s crew hoping that their open disregard for Anastasia’s authority would help spark a revolution. Sadly, I was wrong. Watching Foroxicks’s treatment of Mikoceer and Pytrdir convinced me he is a violent bully only concerned with boosting his own ego. I'm planning to leave the fort after this so if you have questions about the fort, ask while you can."

![]() |

Just for expediency, if you'd like to explore the fort, how would you -- clockwise starting from the north or counter clockwise starting from the east. Also please nominate a 'door-puller' to pull the door open when you get to a room. :)

![]() |

A cause of justice will win over the time. Milani won't let be otherwise. Come with us and the Pathfinder Society will help you to share your story and if you're right claim back your throne.
Looking around.
But where is this Foroxicks?

![]() |

"In his throne room, of course. North of here, past the yard." she answers.

![]() |

Ah ... Namre. Irrisen succession doesn't work like that. Anyway, it's a pleasure to meet you Lady Oranvis. To be honest, I'm not sure which Queen I'm descended from but it doesn't matter anyway now. But, as I said, if you want to influence Queen Anastasia for the good of Irrisen, you'd be better off being one of her advisors.

![]() |

Oloranvis waves her hand to the east dismissively. "Oh the mess hall, barracks, stables and the gate leading out of here. If there's nothing else, I'm outta here!"

![]() |

To everyone's surprise, one of the dogs stands on its hind legs and raises a paw as if in salute. Oloranvis takes it as a sign and heads out.
You proceed north to the yard. A cutting wind stacks snow in deep drifts throughout this open yard. An obelisk carved with images of cats and dogs, symbols of power in Irrisen society, casts a deep shadow over a wooden platform erected near the northern wall. On the platform is a man, his hands and feet bound with rope, swaying as the wind buffets his body.
The ramparts atop the exterior walls are 15 feet tall, with the roofs of the buildings extending an additional 5 feet. Each 5-foot square adjacent to a wall, the platform, or obelisk is difficult terrain due to the large snowdrifts.
Upon seeing you come through the door, the wolves turn towards their next meal.

Moonshadow also reduces the damage done to Namre. He glares at Blue who whimpers a bit. He stabs Blue before raising his shield.
