Okay it's time to start. Remember, there would be adventures for each of you later on. You are all playing Hero Kings.
Beginning Domain Actions
Each domain turn represents one month of game time. Each of you have twenty four hours to post your domain actions. I'll post NPC Kingdom actions after each of you takes your turn. There is no Kingdom Initiative to post.
Kingdom Events
I'll post the first kingdom events tonight. So you each will have some time to get used to playing your first domain turn without an event. Remember, you are all allied at the beginning. Try to keep the alliance alive. If you don't, I reserve the right to test your resolve with NPC actions.
Have fun running your kingdoms or domains. Discussion is still open on Discord and here to discuss rules and your kingdoms and domains.

Trail in the Woods |

First, I've slightly changed the character with the new rules.
I switched my feats to Skill Focus Administrate and Regency Focus - Improve Holding
I'm going to go into considerable detail to make sure that I'm doing things right
Domain Round
Adjust attitudes - Not for the first term
Domain Collection
Elinie has 7 provinces with ratings of 5,3,2,2,3,3,2 for a total of 20
It has temples (counting just LPA) of 3,3,3,2,2 for a total of 13
It has law of 3+1+1+1+3+1+1 for a total of 11
Regency income is 20+13+ 1/2 of 11 for a total 39
My total is 36 so I gain 36 Regency for a total (with my starting values) of 66
My income is 2/3 of temple (9) + 1/3 Law (4) + Provinces (20) for 33 for a total (with my starting values) of 48.
My expenses are 1/4 of my army muster values.
2 units of Anuirean Knights. 2x6 = 12
4 units of Anuirean Infantry. 4x2 = 8
1 unit of Irregulars. 1x2 = 2
3 units of Anuirean archers. 3x2 = 12
Total of 34. Assume all are in home territory so 34/4 - 8 1/2
Court - I want a court of level 6 so 6 GP
I will try and make an Administrate check to reduce those costs
Administrate: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (9) + 11 = 20 vs a DC of 25 so that fails.
So I pay 15 GP in maintenance and now have a total of 33
I think that is enough to start. If Elton or Osprey can check my numbers so far I'd appreciate it.

Too late to edit the above post so I'm going to post again. Thanks to people for corrections. Ignore first post.

Trail in the Woods |

My (hopefully last) small change to my character as I actually did my first round of my first turn :-). I changed the feat from Realm Focus - Rule Holding to Realm Focus - Rule Province.
Ok, I'm again going to go into considerable detail to make sure that I'm doing things correctly.
As a full round action, I'm going to try to Rule Province to raise the level of Mholien from 2 to 3.
I get to add +1 for my Administrate of 11, +4 for Rule Province.
Rule Province Mholien: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20 vs a DC of 12.
Success!!!! Mholien is now a bustling province with a rating of 3. My rule is off to a good start.
Cost was 2 GB. But I can try to use Administrate to reduce that
Administrate: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (4) + 11 = 15 vs a DC of 20 -2 = 18
Close but not quite so I have to spend 2GB
With a level 6 Court I now have 3 Court Actions.
First Action is to Build a Palace in my Capital. Automatically succeeds unless somebody opposes me. I get build: 1d4 ⇒ 2 progress.
Will try to reduce the cost of that Administrate: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (16) + 11 = 27 so that only costs me 1 GP.
Lets continue that as my second court action
build: 1d4 ⇒ 4 progress Administrate: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (19) + 11 = 30
So, I have now got a L1 Palace for a cost of only 4 GB (1+3)
Lastly, I want to muster another troop. I want a unit of Scouts. No roll to make but I can still use Administrate
Administrate: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (14) + 11 = 25 So the cost is 2
Question - Am I using Administrate correctly? Do I get to reduce EVERY action like this? Seems quite powerful although I did go out of my way to make myself good at this.
So, at this point I've spent 0 RP on my first turn, spent a total of 8 GP.
Bringing my cash reserves down to 25 GP
So I'm spending considerable amounts of money but still less than my income (my goal is to always spend LESS than my income so my emergency reserve grows).
As before, I'd appreciate it if people showed me places where I goofed.
I'd also appreciate feedback if people think I'm making reasonable decisions

According to the rules on using Administrate:
"Reducing domain maintenance : You may use Administrate to cut down the maintenance costs for your domain by 25% (round down)."
Yep, you're using Administrate correctly. But you have to make sure you're using it to reduce your costs by 1/4th.

That roll I failed in my first post.
I’m now using the other part of administrate. Reducing Domain Action Cost

And that is much appreciated :-).
Even after only 1 round my understanding of the domain system is very greatly improved.

Shadowstrider wrote:It occurs to me we’re first level, so I’m already maxed. Can I research a Battle Spell? You can research a battle spell.
Spellcasters with the Battle Spell feat can provide even greater benefit to the armies with which they are allied.
Bath, no! No I can't, for 2 reasons:
1) There is no such Feat listed in the BRCS Document
2) Assuming they actually mean the "Battle Caster" Feat, you must be 5th level to take it.
So, there are exactly 5 "Character Actions" listed:
1) Adventure - We're not Adventuring yet.
2) Ply Trade
3) Research - I can't do Battle Magic yet, and I don't want to have "too many" 1st level Realm spells
4) Training - I'm already maxed at HPs
5) Travel - Where would I go? I mean, I'm in Caudraight for a reason.
Ok, so that leaves me with "Ply Trade" as the only valid option.
I have a +5 in Profession(Herbalist), which I believe then earns me 10gp per Table 5-15. The next round is on me.

New Attitude "rolls," but using the same numbers rolled above, but with different modifiers. These numbers assume no one is "hostile" to me.
Deepshadow/Coeranys: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13 Neutral Result
Duornil/Coeranys: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21 Positive Result
Mistil/Coeranys: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7 Neutral Result
Ranien/Coeranys: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7 Neutral Result
Hamein/Chimaeron: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 1 = 17 Positive Result
Mhowe/Chimaeron: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8 Neutral Result
With this, Duornil and Hamein will move to "Friendly," and all others remain "Indifferent."

Yep, those are better results.

Trail in the Woods |

A couple of things.
I noticed that I oopsed giving myself a Court of 6. The province has a rating of only 5 so that was the maximum.
So, 1 less Court action for the first round. Which means the Scouts are not yet mobilized.
And then I should also do my influence rolls. I'm not sure if my court bonus applies to these checks so for the moment I'll just roll assuming a +2 for holding all Law assets in a province.
Ansien: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20 - Improve to Friendly
Chalseson: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17 - Improve to Friendly
Hope's Demise: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11 - Stays at Indifferent
Mholien: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21 - Improves to friendly
Osoeriene: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6 - Stays at Indifferent
Sendouras: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8 - Stays at Indifferent
Soileite: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10 - Stays at Indifferent

Ghoere sends ambassadors to Elinie, to congratulate the coronation of Ehsan ibn Assan. The ambassador is Thomas Caladriel of Ghoere, a half-elf who has ties to Tuarheviel.
Finally, Osoerde sends ambassadors to Temüjin of the Borjigin, congratulating him on his coronation. No one dares to enter the Sielwode, other than the overthane sending his congratulations on the Coronation of Diarmaid mac Cullaidh. Finally, everyone can rest easy, that the Gorgon has declined to make a move.
The high priest of Medoere sends her congratulations to Blodeuwydd Wynn. That leaves Roesone. The new leader of Roesone has yet to make a move.
NOTE
We are moving operations to Discord, in order to keep things organized. I'll close this campaign at the end of the month, so that everyone will have a chance to Move to discord. I have everything there nice and organized for players and myself.
