appraise check on both the ring and the pendant.

The ring, the stone is genuine. A beautiful ruby cut for brilliance and shine. The silver ring looks like it was forged, and has an emblem of a snake curling around the finger. It looks like it can be worth about 250 gp.
The pendant is made of gold, and has a sapphire set in the middle. The sapphire looks fake, maybe a glass knockoff. The emblem of the pendant is that of a stag. It looks like it's worth about 50 gp to the right seller.

She shakes her head "I'm going to have a gander and see if there is some form of archery compition."
The Archery Competition is happening about 30 feet away from the caber toss competition. There are targets that are set up from twenty paces from the start line. They are practicing now, but some archers are firing near the mark.

Landriss steps up, glancing to the side to Robyn. He takes overly careful aim, and fires a much less skilled shot..... 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
and another. 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
He walks away laughing. "Maybe I should try a comedy act!"

Alkaid checks the iconography from what she knows to confirm if this is the real prince, another noble or a double.
As she'd figure out which house those items belong to.Know(Noblity): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13

As far as you know, it's a double.

Ah, Christmas time always brings a slow down in the forums.
Alkaid thinks on what she thinks she knows
"So a double is out and about, which could just be standard caution, but it could also be that the real prince is deathly ill or something along those lines. Seems I'll need to see if the princess is real or also a double, as that'll narrow down some possibilities."
So Alkaid now moves to observe the princess and to check her iconography.

Make a quick perception check followed by an Appraise check, Alkaid. This is to identify the items she's wearing and whether or not they are cheap imitations.

Alkaid whispers back "Thinking on how to best play this, as that prince is not the real prince, but a body double.
Currently, I'm checking the princess, but the guards are blocking a good view of the iconography she has on.
If the princess is also a body double, it means something is going that could be very bad."
"I'm thinking of approaching with a gift and thanking the royal family for the good times they are bringing, to get a excellent view.
But I have to approach and address her correctly or it could be a start of a fight as guards are there to protect the princess from harm. So it is a difficult thing to do."
