Aloha, I am just posting to check on interest in a Round Robin-style running of Burnt Offerings and Seven Dooms over Sandpoint.
The pitch would be this: Depending on how many would be interested, we would split up the GM-ing responsibilities. I would prefer that we at least have 3 GMs, 4 would be ideal.
The PCs would be young at the start, teenagers that have some tie to Sandpoint. Then after Burnt Offerings, we would have a time skip, the characters could have been doing anything during that time, maybe do a little Downtime stuff (crafting and the like) to get us all outfitted.
Then the next GM starts us off on Seven Dooms, runs a couple of chapters, then we switch again, etc.

A bit about me. I have been GMing for over 20 years. When I moved back to my hometown, just about 16 years back, I started running Rise of the Runelords and it ended up being one of my longest running games. I am generally not one for running strictly by the book with regards to adventures. I like to tailor things for the PCs so that it becomes more personal for them. For example, in that Rise of the Runelords game I decided that since almost all of the party were long-lived ancestries, that they were all heroes of old Thassilon. The Elf PCs were all Faceless Stalkers that had gone in such deep cover that they had forgotten who they were. The monk PC turned out to be very proud and so I had it that she was the daughter of the Runelord of Pride. It turned out to be very memorable.
I also love collaborative storytelling. So, working with the other GMs to make this fun and help foster the stories of each individual PC would be a priority for me.

Anyway, if anyone is interested in trying this, I would love to collaborate with you!

I'm playing in 5 PbP games, and GMing a PbP AP. In FtF, I'm GMing two APs.
Currently I've got available time every day (except Saturdays). I've been playing Pathfinder since before the original APs came out (playing the Paizo APs in Dungeon magazine). And before that I've been playing since AD&D (yes, I'm that old <<grin>>).
I've been GMing for roughly 16 years.
In my spare time, I sing in a Barbershop chorus, and am the father to seven and the grandfather to twelve children.
==================
PbP == Play by Post (exclusively on the Paizo forums)
GM == Game mastering (used to be called Dungeon Mastering, but that is, likely a different IP
AP == Adventure Path
FtF == Face to Face (like, with real people!)

I'm running the first part of this adventure on my real-life game currently... so would be happy to take over after Burnt offerings. Just a note... Seven Dooms takes advantage of the Research, Influence, and reputation sub-systems... so we should probably establish that before building characters that might take advantage of mechanics to use in those systems.

Looks like this could be a good party. Four and a GMPC to work background and be an extra hand at combat.
So then, what would we look at playing? I have been toying with an unarmed magus (laughing shadow hybrid study) that has ties to the Kaijitsu family. His parents were servants of the Kaijitsu's working in the Glassworks with papa Kaijitsu.
As such, he can fit both the damage dealer role, but also arcane caster for arcane study and research.

If there is a book I tend to stick with it unless I've had ample time to go through it. The thing/event you skipped can be needed later in the story which just means more adlib. At the same time, I've run a whole campaign off character backstories and then tying them together. So, I guess I'm comfortable either way.
I prefer non-magic types either combat guys or skill monkeys. Depending on what others want I'll lean into a class and then select an appropriate tie in with the locals.
Critzible |
I have played a variety of things. From casters to skill monkeys.
I like unique characters. I can do normal too. Depends on the party and story.
As for role. So if we did all 6 that wouls be each tole filled and 2 switch hitters or doubles.
I could be arcane or divine. Depends on what anyone else wants as I can always fill a role.

I really like hack'n'slash. And, my GMing style is to go by the book. That's why I buy them. So I don't have to do the work of fleshing out the encounters.
As far as my characters go, I prefer the suboptimal strange combinations. (For instance, my sprite barbarian is neat and my Poppet Summoner where the eidolon looks like a little girl carrying a ragdoll in her hands. Both of these are current PFS characters.)
I haven't tried a witch or an oracle yet.

Both those sound fun. I played a tatterdemelion witch which was fun. I might do a gish style class. Maybe my Inquisitor or Shifter? Probably Emilia Vosk my Shifter that is the Weretouched Archtype ans have her animal be Bats.
Aeshuura |
Aesh - Magus
Scran - Bard (Enigma or Warrior)
Critz - Inquisitor or Shifter
Ira - Melee
Iron - Non-spellcasterThis is the breakdown so we can tinker a bit.
So between us, I would have Arcana for Recall Knowledge, Scran would have Occultism, and Critz would either have Religion or Nature, I assume...

Here is my Warpriest submission.
Ira, who is your deity?
EDIT: I am not familiar with which deity has favored weapon of morningstar...
