I never really liked ToEE very much... compared to the other early "Super Modules" like the G-series or the D-series. I would go with Slavers before ToEE, but that is just my 2cp

I'm definitely up for either adventure!
| Vesica "Tavern Tale" |
I'm good with either, with a slight preference toward Slavers.

I just wanted to check in with everyone and make sure folks are OK with Tavern Tale's penchant for lying. The reasons it's a part of what she does are twofold: because she thinks she may be being hunted by two different groups and wants to try to hide her identity, and because of the general darkness that permeates the whole of her home city of Istivin, some of which has seeped into her being.
I think you guys are mostly tolerant of it at this point, but with a paladin and goodly cleric in the group, it would be better to know. That way I could easily switch out her archetype before we've gotten deep into the campaign. Please let me know ASAP. I'm intrigued by the Brazen Deceiver archetype but not dead set on it.

While Gothia understands sometimes needing to twist the truth for the greater good, I cannot say that she is enamoured by lying for lying sake. A "tall tale" now and then can be tolerated, but constant lying will simply have her not trust the person and most likely attempt to either correct the problem or distance herself from the person.

I have a grudge against ToEE, I've started in many times and never finished it once and I want to BEAT it! My problem is that I'm running it for my regular game group using dnd 3.5 right now and I'd have to play out my OOC knowledge. ToEE would be my preference.
Brenfine understands the need for lying occasionally, but like Gothia, will only tolerate a little of it before seeing that it has to be addressed.
I am new to Pathfinder, I've only played it occasionally, which XP track are we using, fast, med or slow?

Fast.

Fair points. As of right now, Vesica has two main uses for her lying: to throw off any pursuers from her hometown and to enhance the tall tales she tells when entertaining to earn some spare coin. Another use I can foresee would be to lie to misdirect enemies. For example, if we strongly suspected certain villagers of being members of the cult, TT could feed them false information that might make it seem that the party is vulnerable at a certain time, but we'd then try to ambush the cultists if they took the bait.
The thing with lying to the mayor was mainly to try out the ability but also because I realized that TT's acceptance of the first offer had potentially cost the others in the group potential gold. Still wrong technically but done with (sort of) good intentions.

As to rewards, Gothia will never haggle when evil is to be defeated. In her mind, the destruction of the cult is its own payment...but she is rich lolo

OK, I think for now I'll stick with Vesica unless someone explicitly tells me to change. She won't be lying to fellow party members (except to hide her background, and at some point she'll likely come clean about that). She'll still use her Secret Keeper trait when she's telling her tall tales for coin in taverns, but that's more a case of keeping her exaggerations/artistic license somewhat believable.

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully the 'stuff' is more annoying than harmful, and that you can get back to normal ASAP.

So I'm on a three week vacation, but brought my laptop so I could post when I have wifi, which will be often. But my laptop died and I'm posting with my phone. Not ideal... I'm going to try to keep up, but please bot me as needed. Thanks!!

Just a quick guide for bonuses when bless and inspire courage are running at the same time.
Bless: +1 morale bonus on attack rolls; +1 morale bonus vs. fear effects; duration 1 minute/level.
Inspire Courage +1: +1 competence bonus on attack and weapon damage rolls, +1 morale bonus on saving throws against charm and fear effects; duration 3+ rounds.
Both Effects Together: +2 on attack rolls, +1 on weapon damage rolls, +1 to saves against charm and fear effects.
Note: I linked this post at the end of Tavern Tale's stat lines in case this situation comes up fairly often.

That certainly helps me and your fellow players. Congrats on your initiative.

Aren't the trogs going to attack at some point, or was door-hacking and switching weapons considered their actions, and we're up again for Round 2?

Background skill: Handle Animal +2

Uncanny Dodge:At 2nd level, a barbarian gains the ability to react to danger before her senses would normally allow her to do so. She cannot be caught flat-footed, nor does she lose her Dex bonus to AC if the attacker is invisible. She still loses her Dexterity bonus to armor class if immobilized. A barbarian with this ability can still lose her Dexterity bonus to armor class if an opponent successfully uses the feint action against her.
Rage Power:Good for what ails you
While raging, the barbarian who takes a drink of alcohol may attempt a new saving throw against one of the following conditions that may be affecting her: blinded, confused, dazzled, deafened, exhausted, fatigued, frightened, nauseated, panicked, shaken, or sickened. If she succeeds at the save, the effect is suppressed for the duration of the rage. She also may attempt a new saving throw if poisoned; a successful save counts against those required for a cure, but a failed save has no ill effec

Favored Enemy (Ex) [Humanoid - Reptilian]: At 1st level, a ranger selects a creature type from the ranger favored enemies table. He gains a +2 bonus on Bluff, Knowledge, Perception, Sense Motive, and Survival checks against creatures of his selected type. Likewise, he gets a +2 bonus on weapon attack and damage rolls against them. A ranger may make Knowledge skill checks untrained when attempting to identify these creatures.
Track (Ex): A ranger adds half his level (minimum 1) to Survival skill checks made to follow tracks.
Wild Empathy (Ex): A ranger can improve the initial attitude of an animal. This ability functions just like a Diplomacy check to improve the attitude of a person (see Using Skills). The ranger rolls 1d20 and adds his ranger level and his Charisma bonus to determine the wild empathy check result. The typical domestic animal has a starting attitude of indifferent, while wild animals are usually unfriendly. To use wild empathy, the ranger and the animal must be within 30 feet of one another under normal visibility conditions. Generally, influencing an animal in this way takes 1 minute, but, as with influencing people, it might take more or less time. The ranger can also use this ability to influence a magical beast with an Intelligence score of 1 or 2, but he takes a –4 penalty on the check.

Krishka is ready to come back!
But I can really only check in Thursday through Sunday. That may or may not be a problem for you guys.
So, shall Krishka enter the story once more?
You can join up, sure. Level up Krishka to level 2 to you would be on par with the others. As for checking in on weekends, that's up to the rest of the group.

Good to see you again! I'm not against Krishka coming back. The "no posts Monday thru Wedesday" bit sounds iffy, but we can at least try it out and see how it goes.

Think I’m done.
And Krishka implemented her new spellcasting slots scheme, and they work!
Informational note, my status posting (still need to get better at posting it every combat round) has spells in brackets and parentheses. Brackets are bard spells that don’t change, and parentheses are arcanist spells that I can change, and using Quick Study even. :)
Like so,

I figure the best re entry for Krishka into the story is that she broke off shortly to send a message back home as an update and the others left without her, and now she has finally caught up to them.
Unless you have a different plan GM?
Nope, I don't have anything different right now.

Are we down to just four players?
Five: Chestman, Gothia, Sea Ranger, Tavern Tale, and Krishka.
| Sea Ranger |
Thinking either Chestman or Gothia should get the manual of gainful exercise.
