@Resa: each level up requires 1000xp, so we are nearly level 2!

I have been thinking more, and I'm considering something: since Zeldones has departed, I could have Ardoinel be a Magus as I'd originally intended...he'd still be plenty tanky with Sparkling Targe. And this way I wouldn't need a homebrew version of Syncretism to accommodate his unique beliefs! Howzit sound?


@Ardoinel: I think you should do whatever you'd like - as long as it works for Delta Arena as well, :) I was thinking a full martial would be great but a Sparkling Targe is pretty tanky.

Perks is that your attacker progressively takes pity and stops hitting you :')

Eventually, every time you roll during combat, you cast Hideous Laughter as a free action on any enemy directly looking at you, for a duration of 1+1/2 level round. This is a supernatural power.

I'm not sure I can use it (at least not efficiently) without investment either into the Champion or Sentinel archetypes: Magi only get medium. It's a step up from the light armor, which was what I previously had access to as a base Oracle, yeah, but the benefits are gonna taper off.

Re: Gear. Mechanically, I think the Potency Crystal makes the most sense for Ellaeaanda—because she knows her attack roll ahead of time, it will never go to waste on a missed strike. Whereas the venom remains potent until you hit.

Re: Exploration. If my memory is correct, we’ve cleared the entire right of the castle, the middle section, and the bottom rooms of the left side. I’ll move Ellaeaanda to where I think we haven’t explored yet.

I've never used poisons in games, just because the dcs always seemed really easy to beat, but I don't mind missing out here. The game is collaborative, not collecting the most individual loot.

Something I've been meaning to poll you on: now that Ardoinel's going for more substantial armor, I've been debating what kind of helmet he should be sporting. Do I go for a conical helmet, almost like an armored pointy wizard hat? A helmet shaped like an anvil like this Warhammer dorf? A helmet with a dragon on it like this cool Celtic knight? What do you fine folks think he'd look good in? :3
