Lapodie picks up the pistol and returns it to Ears.
"That was very generous of you. These were fierce opponents! Not the kind of creature I expected to see, though..."
Ears grins, exposing sharp teeth behing broad incisors. " I was really hoping we could blow one up." The ysoki takes and holsters his semi-auto. Then he retrieves his battery and flashlight. They go back in his mouth. The arc pistol is also reholstered.

"Did anyone suffer any serious wounds, or do we just need some time to catch our breaths?" Satisfied that no one needs chemical healing, Dr. Koob instead refills his wrist pad with reagents.
Looks like no one is down more than a point or two of HP. Koob isn't hurt, but will spend an RP to regain his biohacks.

After resting up, Zark feels much better and ready to continue. First, he searches the room for anything of note. Next, the ysoki checks out the door to the east checking it out for traps. When all is clear, he suggests they all proceed.

Once the door is unlocked, Zark will sneak in quietly like the ghost he is reputed to be. Not making a sound, he scans the room.

This vast, steamy chamber is built around a large central device resembling a hybrid blast furnace, with an opening at the lower floor for putting in raw materials and a dispenser at the top for collection. The ceiling is thirty feet high, with walkways at fifteen feet providing access to the device’s output. A shovel and a few half-empty crates containing callously mounded ancient objects are on the ground floor. In small vats at the upper level, a gray-green liquid is congealing as it cools. On the upper level, various tables and workbenches are strewn with tools.
You can see a pair of lashunta working on something. They don't seem to have noticed that the door is open. I've updated the map. The air isn't so steamy that it provides concealment.

He draws his semiautomatic and his arc pistol, set to stun. Then he waits beside Tanila.
Will follow a general movement into room so not to spoil Zarks chances of stealthing into an advantageous position if he's so inclined.
