Hello! Welcome to my table. Before we start, please do the following:

Please complete the macros linked at the top of the page. This will be used for initiative and secret rolls.

Please also post your token to the slides and post your position in the marching order. The slides are also linked at the top of the page.

As per the Organized Play Foundation Community Standards, each player must decide if they will allow their characters to be damaged by friendly fire (usually via splash damage). In keeping with the “Explore, Report, Cooperate” motto of the Pathfinder Society, engaging in non-consensual character-versus-character conflict is prohibited. While accidental friendly fire happens due to missed attack rolls or other factors, players must obtain the consent of other players before deliberately including fellow PCs in damaging effects. This rule does not apply in situations where a character is not acting of their own free will, such as if they’re being mind-controlled by an NPC and forced to attack a fellow Pathfinder.

You may select a consumable item from the Pathfinder Provisions list. These used to be the school items you get prior to starting an adventure. This applies to Scenarios only. Quests and bounties do not receive provisions.

In combat he has a some condition countering spells (liberating command, cleanse affliction, clear mind, sound body, dispel magic) a few buffs (haste, rank 4 invisibility) and some attack spells.

Rex has some alchemist abilities that he mainly uses to create bombs and ammunition to power his alchemical crossbow. He also has some gunslinger feats including raconteur's reload to let him demoralize/create a diversion and reload with the same action.

For anyone who notices me lurking around the table, never fear, I will not influence your game at all. I am only here to evaluate your GM as they strive to obtain the rank of 5 glyphs.

Unfortunately, I do not currently have a character in level range, so I can not join in the fun.

Hey Numbat, I hope life is treating you well. Tiger good luck with your review. I'm getting close to 100 games for Starfinder, so I should probably sort out one of my reviews in due time in a play by discord environment....

Master Hireling: Nature, Devil Lore
PFS: 5 glyphs, Heroic Inspiration
Special: Treasure Bundle Insurance
Advanced: Convention Hero (1-13) (check your Discord DM)
General: Valais' Assurance (1-12) (hopefully not needed)
Slotless: Engraved Wayfinder

Rares used: General feat at 11 is a rare feat I am opting to use called Glass Skin. Kobold sorcs are frail relatively speaking.

Link to the feat plus my chronicle for that is in your DMs. If not allowed I have my alternate for this level, and won't change anything. I probably should have posted sooner, but there it is.

Bleeerrrrgh...I'm 12.

*facepalms herself*
I see what I did (not do).

I put in my L11 details here, then my Outlaws of Alkenstar character credit kicks in, knocks me up to 12. Signed in as a 12 since it was the last thing. Updated my Pathbuilder to 12, and turned in a few chronicles to GM....but didn't come back and actually update the profile. I use mobile version - for Starfinder I just literally link my Hephaistos profile into my forum profile here, making it easier to check and catch mistakes, but for 2e since mobile and web versions of Pathbuilder are not linked I have to look over everything twice.

OOF.
(In Discord land, I would just provide a copy of what I have on Pathbuilder or a screenshot of the PDF/statblock output, just fewer steps.)

This is also my first 2e game played on the forum proper so whilst Starfinder is straight forward in designating what is standard, move, swift, etc. I am absolutely not used to the action symbols in the three action economy that I am seeing people have in their profiles.

It is also still my 5th-6th game on forum proper so still getting used to a few things on forums versus Discord. Oof.

I actually was surprised to see you signed up because I don't think I've ever seen you play on the forums... and to think you signed up for two games, both 9-12...

Horizon Hunters

Female Human Wizard (well I wish anyways)

I started playing a little Starfinder on the forums last few PaizoCons since there are fewer GMs around and there are a few Starfinder GMs (Kludde, cmlobue, Phaeton, etc) that really cover a lot of ground with older scenarios, so that's how I got started. Kludde specifically hit Discord to recruit more of us Discord players (presumably) to play on forums...I know the rules, re: format I try and keep an open mind.

Spoiler:
My only gripe with forums with Starfinder is starship combat, but that has issues regardless of what format the game is in, and is irrelevant to here.

Just small learning curve, but I'll deal. I think most format I have down from repetition from Starfinder games, just things like how you all list/write out spells (should I have them in profile byline or just in my profile is enough?) and listed feats and ultimately what helps make forum GMs lives easier.

These scenarios are my first 2e attempt on the forums. Advantages and disadvantages between that and Discord format-wise....but some aspects I am still getting used to. That said, recordkeeping is far easier (for me, surely others do things differently) on Discord, I won't lie, but I'm slowly warming up to playing as I can get games as needed on the forums.

It seems like GMing here though is a completely different animal, that might be a bridge too far. For now.

The scaling of this encounter is a bit sus. It's a pretty close to, if not an extreme threat encounter for a group of our average level. We don't have a high damage dealer in the party and these creatures are critting regularly for one-third to one-half of our hp in a single swing.

So paused the turn putting my roll in spoiler

My initial plan was try a dc 30 medicine check as wee need all the battle healing we can get. However a success on a dc 30 check is a crit on a dc 20 check giving 20+4d8 which averages 1 less than 30+2d8. It also gives a solid 85 per cent chance of some healing as opposed to 65 per cent no healing at all

So revised plan is make dc 20 battle medicine followed by cast shield/use healers gloves if battle medicine flubs

Any chance of a guidance on the battle medicine check

It looks like it will depend on whether Mila has some magical way to cross. 3 of us are trained in Athletics and have at least a +10, so climbing is possible (but maybe difficult) for the rest of us. But no one is an expert in Athletics, so Follow the Expert isn't an option.

If Mila has no other way to cross, we'll have no choice but to fight our way across the bridge.

Formatting, I'm getting used to it, I had some precedence with Starfinder, I think for 2e, as long as it's clear where my actions are coming from....I do like that you have separated out what saves people need to make before in tracker...not all GMs do this.

I think this scenario itself is a bit difficult for reasons others have touched on, your other game feels easier but I think it's just team comp, and not to do with the format of the game. But slowly but surely I am getting used to it. Sometimes I am falling behind because not getting pinged, I'll just check in once per day to see if it's my turn or if there is something critical going on. I think the only real disruption - which is out of your control - has been when Paizo forums go down, so that is probably when I have to do the most catching up, there's been a few times earlier in outpost, it was down for more than a day, so it's a bit disorienting. Hard to describe.

Also I have noticed that the Starfinder games seem to move at a faster pace, but I know the games are shorter in SFS, and it may also be down to the specific GMs. Kludde, for example, runs at a much faster pace regardless of whether he's on the forums or on Discord.

Only other issue I am personally having that is independent of format is getting caught up on remaster changes. Wish I had a bit of a cheat sheet, but that's on me.
