Figured it out. Dumbass forgot about dot - delete. Been awhile. Sorry.

Ahzeem has the following boons (in needed):

Esoteric Spellcaster:

Spoiler:
Select an uncommon spell from a curated list of Pathfinder Core Rulebook options; this PC gains access to it. Can be purchased multiple times on the same character; select a different spell for each purchase.
Spell chosen: Protection.

Combat Mentor (Vigilant Seal):

Spoiler:
While working with less experienced Pathfinder allies, you provide pointers and lead drills that ensure your newer colleagues’
attacks strike true. For any PCs benefiting from a Level Bump and whose levels are lower than yours, you increase the Level
Bump’s modifier to attack rolls to 2.
Normal: A Level Bump increases a PC’s attack roll modifiers by 1.
Special: A PC can only benefit from two mentor boons

PFS (2ed) Scenario #1–06: Lost on the Spirit Road:

Spoiler:
Traveler of the Spirit Road - [ ] [ ] [ ] Traveler of the Spirit Road (General): You have traveled the pathways near the Forest of Spirits and not only managed
to avoid losing your way, but even befriended some of the local kami. The kami’s blessing follows you now and protects you
from bad luck. Whenever you would critically fail a check to Hide, Sneak, Sense Direction, or Track while in a forested area, you
may check a box next to this boon as a free action to treat that check as a failure instead.

Please alert me if any are no longer valid at this time.

Beginning of the End

All of those boons are still valid (though any one PC can only benefit from at most two mentor boons, so if multiple of you have various Mentor boons any level 1s in the party would choose two of those to take advantage of though doesn't need to be the same two for each PC

I've added links up top to two things. First is a Google Slides doc we'll use for maps, handouts, etc. If you could please add your character icons to that when you have a chance.

Second is a link to a skill macros sheet. If you could each fill out a tab with you character's skills, that will help me tremendously should a Secret check emerge, and with initiative, botting, etc.

Looking forward to our adventure beginning in just a few days!

(he/him/his)

If my math is right we're at 20 challenge points with three level 1's. I think I will switch from my lvl 4 to bring us back down into low-tier. Likely will bring a lvl 2 champion or lvl 2 summoner which would put us at 17 challenge points.

But similarly looking forward to this!

Hey again Zoomba!

As a heads up, I'll probably be taking advantage of the free rebuild once my chronicle for Second Confirmation clears (mainly swapping my Skilled Heritage to Crafting and taking Quick Repair for my Level 1 skill feat; that last fight taught me how fragile shields can be early on so cutting repair time would probably be handy.)

Settled on my lvl 2 champion and filled out everything except marching order. Baga can fit in front/back/midline so will let others pick their preferred marching order.

Dark Archive

I'm still taking a level 1 new rogue but am working on actually spending some of my many achievement points to play a fun race.. Will get that sorted out in the next day or three.

Well. Ended up staying home today so... the Halfling Rogue has turned into a Catfolk rogue. Hurrah! Also entered info and changed my character number on the spreadsheet.

In other news, the Shingles vaccine is a wonderful thing but when they tell you the second and final shot is likely to give you more serious effects, they aren't kidding. Ooh, aches. Tiredness. Still, if you've ever known anyone who has dealt with shingles, they'll tell you it's worth it!

Enough real life junk, a few days to gaming time!!!!

I think Ebren needs to do the same.

Beginning of the End

Looks like we’re at 15 CP: a solid middle-high low tier.

Does anyone have any GM glyphs (for some extra starting Hero Points)?

Envoy's Alliance

AC18/17; Fort +7, Ref +4, Will +6 HP 22/22 Dragon Instinct Barbarian

I have 4. Also, sorry about the delay filling out the form. I had a severe migraine yesterday so I didn't get a chance to fill it out.

Beginning of the End

Now’s a good time for you to remember to pick up your Pathfinder Provisions

Also: a note on how the scenario is treating the Supplies you’re bringing to Steadfast. You have 10 ‘Supplies’ a bit abstracted obviously. While obviously the venture captain is hoping you can get as many of them as possible to the refugees who need them in Steadfast, should you feel you may need them instead you can spend 1 ‘Supply’ to dig around in them and acquire three more holy water vials and three more bottles sunlights. This takes a minute and can be done any time we’re not in an encounter.
There may also be other circumstances where Supplies may need to be expended…

I also have 4 gm glyphs as well, so we have enough to cover the table. updated slides so everyone starts with 2 hero points

It also looks like 3 of us havent updated marching order. Baga can be front/middle/back. Have been waiting to see where everyone else wants to be.

Its just the scroll of 1st level heal. Its nice having an extra heal even if its low level. Use it at your own discretion.

Long delay, longer post, and all for naught. LOL. bad luck.

On a side note, pretty sure the river would negate the area damage so I didn't bother to add it to the rolls.

Beginning of the End

Isn’t it always the case :)

Vigilant Seal

m human (Keleshite) Cloistered Cleric/3 [HP: 38/38] [AC: 17 (18) (19)] [fort: 8; reflex: 7; will: 10] [perception: 9; initiative: +11] [Hero Point: 0/2] [Focus Point: 1/2]

2 questions if I may:

(1) Is the boulder blocking my line of sight to anything?

(2) Does Healing Hands affect the scroll as well?

Spoiler:
Your vitality is even more vibrant and restorative. When you cast heal, you roll d10s instead of d8s.

Horizon Hunters

Clawd Catfolk Rogue 1 |CG | AC 18 | HP 17/17 | Fort +4 Reflex +9 Will +5 | Perception +5 | Low light vision | Speed 25 Rogue 1

The interpretation I've always seen says it will work with a scroll. It changes form D8 to D10 when you cast heal. You are still casting heal, just from a scroll.

Beginning of the End

1) No. it would for anything on the opposite side of it, but the ‘red’ zombie scrambled on top of the boulder and you can still see both Cordelia and ‘green’ from your position.

2) As Tux said: as you are the one casting the spell from the scroll (it uses your mods and DCs) I believe Healing Hands would apply.

Vigilant Seal

m human (Keleshite) Cloistered Cleric/3 [HP: 38/38] [AC: 17 (18) (19)] [fort: 8; reflex: 7; will: 10] [perception: 9; initiative: +11] [Hero Point: 0/2] [Focus Point: 1/2]

Not trying to nit pick or be a jerk, just trying to help/be honest but I used my second Hero Point.

Beginning of the End

Noted.

Though you're receiving one right back: for strong words talking down the bridge 'guards' and helping heal your wounded ally.

I thought my heal spell topped him off. Lay on Hands wouldn't be needed. I wouldn't be apposed to 10 min. of prayers and praise to get my Focus Point back though.

Just a something that may become important, they didn't just re-name the spells. Some of them have changed. What they did to the Light cantrip can be significant if you think about it.

(1) Caster can have up to 4 lights going at once.

(2) Does not state that a wayfinder can only be used 1/day.

Therefore, a caster with a wayfinder can cast/assign lights to 8 at once and they last until the day is over or the caster recasts a 5th time.

Although, I could be wrong. It has happened once or twice before.

I case it matters, Ahzeem keeps his pale yellow light 2' in front/to his right/above his head(So at a 45 degree up/right/forward). If that makes sense/matters.

You technically can IIRC though, since the wayfinder's light spell auto-attaches to the wayfinder itself, there's no real point to maintaining 4 of the outside of maybe weird color shenanigans.

Still means a person with a wayfinder and the cantrip can almost cover an entire 6-man party with light spells though (They'd be 1 short).

As it reads it states the wayfinder's owner can cast the light cantrip as a spell. If so, then 4x cast should be possible.

The light doesn't have to be assigned. You can assign/unassign and move it. Send it down the corridor like dancing light spell to scout/trigger ahead of the party. Set the 4L 60' bright/60' dim ones in a perimeter around the camp that last until morning, ect.

Potential headache for the GM.

Of course, I learned in 1st ed. AD&D when we would cast on iron spikes or sling bullets/stones and send them down the halls as well.

Activate—Light ◆ (concentrate) Effect: The wayfinder is targeted by a 1st-rank light spell.

the specific wording of "is targeted by" (as opposed to other items like Ring of Sigils that explicitly states the ability to cast a spell) kinda leads me to believe that you can only attach it to the wayfinder/dismiss it.

But this is all probably a topic to take to the FAQ board or something to avoid bogging things down here.

Also I was always a fan of using darts for that, back when you could reasonably argue for having them stick in things after throwing.

Quick question. Is this water difficult terrain? Will moving 3 spaces "South" count as a full 25' or 15'?

Beginning of the End

The water and wooded areas are both difficult terrain

I apologize for the deleted post. I did not notice that Tux was not within the 30' Emanation, so I redid the spell/post to single target.

I will get to you next round Cordelia, so please don't die.

I just realized the cause of my confusion. In Pathfinder 1st ed., Channeling produced a 30' radius. Pathfinder 2nd ed. changed it to 30' Emanation. I keep confusing the two. Wish they would have kept it the same, personally.

Envoy's Alliance

So question for the next combat can Popcorn chose to use normal rage and not the dragon option? Its not relevant too much for this encounter but it might be useful in future encounters.

Beginning of the End

I feel this same topic actually came up not that long ago chatting with a fellow local VA...

It varies a bit by Instinct. For Dragon Instinct barbarians (such as Popcorn), you CAN use the normal rage, but it would only be the base +2 damage. Dragon Instinct has increasing the damage as a "you can" option, but the damage increase from 2 to 4 and the making the damage your dragon's damage type is linked: it's either +2 untyped or +4 fire damage.

Gonna wait for Baga's retributive strike to resolve before taking my turn. Also sorry for the slow posting on my end, been busy with tax season and Easter coming up.
