The direbat and Prilla ascend into the air while you rush to the front entrance of Skyreach as arrows fly.

There, some Pathfinders has already set up some makeshift barricade as a line of defense. Sir Laribold Croome, an immaculately dressed Taldan nobleman scrambles for cover behind a table, which his halfling manservant helpfully flips onto its side. Catching his breath, the Taldan fumbles for his monocle before addressing the nearby Pathfinders. Monsters and villains are attacking all over the grounds, he states with perfect articulation, punctuated by a crossbow bolt that embeds itself in his makeshift barricade.

Spread out, patrol the grounds, and snuff out trouble as you find it. If you should discover any clues about what the devil is going on, report back here at the base of Skyreach. He pulls his sword cane free from its sheath and raises it overhead. Look alive, and show initiative, he shouts before performing an elaborate dueling salute in the direction of an elephant and setting off after it.

New map is up. The defense plan divides the Grand Lodge into 4 area: the south campus (Green), northwestern campus (Orange), northeastern campus (Blue), and Skyreach. For now, you're tasked to secure the campus. You can choose to go to any of the three coloured area, and you can move on to another region once a threat is dealt with.

The threat level is currently Red in all areas - Pathfinder defenses are in disarray, and the invaders are at large.

When you attempt to use an Aid Token, there is a 50% chance that no Pathfinders are available to provide assistance. The Aid Token is not expended, but you cannot try to use it again until the start of the next round.

This tall statue is cast in the likeness of Durvin Gest, the most famous Pathfinder of all time. Carved in a likeness of the adventurer in his later years—still dashing and bearing an assortment of scrolls and adventuring gear—the statue stares intently off into the distance. Beneath the statue, pedestals stand adorned with angelic figures and elaborate friezes showing some of the more memorable scenes from the Pathfinder’s long and celebrated career.

You find something has animated the statue and three of the angels.

Raging Song:
Raging Song (Su): When the skald begins a raging song and then on each ally's turn, if the ally can hear the raging song, that ally must decide whether to accept or refuse its effects. This is not an action. Unconscious allies automatically accept the song. If accepted, the raging song's effects on that ally last for that ally's turn or until the song ends, whichever comes first.
Inspired Rage Effects:
Inspired Rage (Su) Affected allies gain a +2 morale bonus to Strength and Constitution and a +2 morale bonus on Will saving throws (+1, +1 per 4 levels), but also take a –1 penalty to AC. While under the effects of inspired rage, allies other than the skald cannot use any Charisma-, Dexterity-, or Intelligence-based skills (except Acrobatics, Fly, Intimidate, and Ride) or any ability that requires patience or concentration.
Spirit Totem, Lesser (Su):
If you accept the rage you are surrounded by spirit wisps that harass your foes. These spirits make one slam attack each round against a living foe that is adjacent to you. The attack is +6/1d4+3 and does negative energy damage.

Syllyn steps over to the side of the platform and whips his scimitar at the huge statue of Durvin Gest as he passes, even as he continues tapping his martial rhythms (i.e. continuing performance. Just assume he maintains a performance unless I say otherwise).
