Is that an arched step bridge over a bottomless crevasse, or a natural stair (leading up or down?) cut through a dark stone wall? (Likewise, what are the other dark splotches? Pillars or holes? If she needs to move elsewhere for a clear shot just let me know.)
Natula places herself in a spot that she can get a clear shot at the thing. Seeing it by the torchlight illustrated on the map.Natula steps to the fore and braces her stance. She cups her hands and locks her wrists together. Focusing all of her magical power into a small pinpoint of growing light at the center space between her palms and fingers.
A wind whips up in the cave.
Small rocks begin to levitate off the ground around Natula.
Slowly she intones the magic words, increasing her volume as she proceeds.
"Kah-Mae..."
"HAH-MAE..."
"HAAAAAAA!!!"
**KRAK-THOOOOM!!!**
She unleashes the overflowing brilliance in the direction of the spider in devastating a line of electrical energy.

Natula burns it into ashes. End of combat
About an hour after the spider ambush, you and Sarenite refugees finally reach the Vault of Sarenrae. In the center of this large, natural cavern, easily more than forty feet in height, stands the ruin of a truly ancient temple constructed of chipped grey and white marble. Its domed roof collapsed long ago, but the structure is otherwise in remarkably good shape. Where doors must once have hung, a small campfire now burns, surrounded by piles of ragged but neatly folded bedding.
Seven people sit huddled around the small campfire to ward off the damp and cold of the cavern. As soon as they spot the approaching party, they pick up wooden clubs and leap to their feet suspiciously. One of the cult members calls out, “Well met by moonlight, sisters and brothers, but soon the dawn will come!” Upon hearing the coded greeting, the cultists by the fire set down their weapons and welcome the party and their fellow Sarenites to the camp.
"Greetings newcomers, I am Akkuret, a priest of Sarenrae serving these people." slim, redheaded human man introduces himself and invites the new arrivals into the ancient temple, offering them seats in the recently constructed pews.

One could guess that it might have been mentioned by the Venture-Captain previous to our arrival to the cultists in residence considering that the man had been hunting for them all. That, and the fact that Muesello is an idiot. And the 'Sunnies' here are a dirty, underground cult, living in a sewer, and licking mushrooms, so we shouldn't really trust them to not listen in on us. ;)
Natula considers her choice to leave the old man and his shop in one piece. Obviously, she is getting soft. The authorities have probably found all the evidence they need in that fire-hazard shop of his, and beaten (or bought) the rest out of Muesello by now, including all of their names and descriptions....
Natula stands up.
"We should probably leave, and figure out what happened to Muesello, and then deal with it." she says looking angry. "I don't know about you guys, but I don't want to sit around here 'growing my own mushrooms.'"

That would be another question: Does this GM allow take 10 on Knoweldge checks during combat? Not all of them do.

2) Are they (still?) carrying scimitars, or was that only Akkuret?
