Delea's shot hits the burning ghoul, and soon after Brock steps in to finally put the last undead to rest.

Combat over!

A through inspection of the staff area tours the group around enough undead motivational posters to get really productive in the afterlife, and loads of mundane paperwork, as well as a broken radio that looks like it took a hit from a laser gun. It's clear though, that most of this is for show, and the paperwork is rarely used.

The hallway is very cramped, stacked with crates and digging equipment, but the contents fo the crates are somewhat unremarkable. The kitchenette is clean and well-used. The fridge is filled almost entirely with raw meat.

There's a workshop that contains mechanical equipment and tools, mostly related to archaeological work.

The staff rec has a noqual-shielded media setup (ooh, that must have cost something!), including a large vidscreen and multiple vidgame systems. Shooter games are notably popular, with copies of 'Half-Lich 2', 'Left 4 dread' and 'Call of Doom: Ghoul Ops' lying about.

The easternmost door is locked and has a red flashing light over it, all other doors are unlocked.

Brock claims one of the frostbite rifles for his collection, and goes through collecting any remaining batteries from the other guns that aren't being claimed. He looks them over for any other useful equipment, access cards, datapads, etc.

He nods toward he easternmost door. "That's probably the room with the most interesting stuff in it, but experience says it's best to clear the rest of the space before we go straight in there. Anyone disagree?" He nods toward the door Darkrunner is standing by. "Start there, then?"

On duration: That depends on whether you are taking 20 for perception, or any other search actions. Until now, I'd say about a minute or so has expired for a superficial search.

The door next to Darkrunner reveals a small workshop, with mostly mechanical tools that look to be used for archaeological work.

There's a door to the southwest, a larger door on the southeast side, a locked door with a blinking light, a door on the other end of the workshop northeast.

The door with the blinking lights is locked, but it doesn't seem to have any trap device on it. There is a sort of loud, industrial hissing sound coming from the other side, though it's hard to tell what exactly it is.

Why, do you think 26 is not enough?

Darkrunner breaks open the lock on pure motor memory, and reveals a steamy chamber, built around a large central device resembling a hybrid blast furnace, with an opening at the lower floor for putting in raw materials and a dispenser at the top for collection. The ceiling is thirty feet high, with walkways at fifteen feet providing access to the device’s output. A shovel and a few half-empty crates containing callously mounded ancient objects are on the ground floor. In small vats at the upper level, a gray-green liquid is congealing as it cools. On the upper level, various tables and workbenches are strewn with tools.

The air has a green haze to it, and it's probably unsafe to breathe the air (Anyone here NOT wearing environmental protection?)

Darkrunner hits, but somehow the Lashunta saw his trick coming.

Smith crunched down on his cigar. Brining his heavy RPG into line with the rapidly advancing mech he was about to thumb the release when the rookie ran forward with a satchel charge. Biting the cigar in two in frustration he adjusted his aim higher to try and avoid hitting his own man. At least with the RPG. Him and Thompson would have Words later.

Shokil sighs as Brock moves right into his line of fire. Squinting as if trying to meet a deadline after a three-day bender with the Bros, he tries for a tricky shot.

If the plan is to stop the woman from doing something (like triggering the machine somehow which seems to me to be their evil plan) then someone will have to get up there. My character can send a summons up there but it is only a CR 1 creature and can only do so much. :)

The troublesome protean attempts to bite Freyan yet again (so it is not renewing the grapple but Freyan will suffer with the grappled condition until the end of the protean's turn).

This thing is operating at extremely high temperature, and in its current state, any damage to the reactor would cause it to react in a possibly unpredictable manner. Nikko fiddles with the valves, and sets the pressure to a lower level, at what he thinks mitigates the danger.

Still it kept on going, taking out another grunt with a burst of automatic weapon fire. Reaching into his webbing, the sergeant found ... he was out of grenades. Again. With a sigh he lined up his rifle on the driver compartment and once again squeezed the trigger.
