In a sense, it's the treasure he was looking for RKT-7 says matter-of-factly though it could be dangerous in the wrong hands, leaving in the middle whether those hands are Vidrizix' or Pockets'.
In RKT-7's mind, this tome is an heirloom of the dragonkin, so she'd have no reservation giving it to Vidrizix as long as she has an indication that he'd use it responsibly.

Likesiw, Po'ogaan has no reservation giving the tome to Vidrizix as long as he has an indication that he'd get paid.

somehow I missed phaeton_nz's last post ending the adventure. Sorry.
Despite his personnel misgivings, Sovellis goes along with the will of the party.. RKT's argument that it is an heirloom of the dragonkin does much to sway his opinion. Coupled with his own sense of honor, he decides to give it to Vid. "It is hard to judge what is right, but we took a contract to find and deliver the treasure. Let us do that simple thing."
Not clear we're handing it over. My sense is the party leans vaguely toward giving it up. Sovellis is now for giving it to Vid.If we do give it up.
Before handing the tome over to Vidrizix, the elf urges the dragonkin to give it to the Skyfire Legion. The reward that he'd be given there would probably match that of Frozen Trove, and the honor would be much greater. " At the Legion you'll be a hero, at Frozen Trove the Tome will become a trade secret, and you will be hidden away in a cubicle or corner of a lab while management seeks to grind a profit by perverting Arathalos' purpose."

Pockets got a good case of treasure fever this adventure, the book wasn't shiny so Pockets mostly ignored its possible worth and danger.
"Oh that book, what's it about again? If its treasure could be cursed, might be best to check first, I wouldn't want Vidrizix to get hurt, or worse have the book open up a black hole that eats the entire universe. Does anyone know how to check for that?"

The book isn't cursed, or even magical, and when Vidrrizix gets it, they look at it intently. Reading over the notes, their eyes grow wide with excitement. They thank the PCs for this discovery and believes this will open new career opportunities. The two ryphorians flanking them seem skeptically curious, but Vidrizix does their best to explain what a polybond is.
And that is the end of the Bounty - thank you for playing. Will report and send out Chronicles hopefully today.
