Switch Pockets - Pass
Thrym - Pass
RKT-7 - Pass
Obozaya - Fail
Sovellis - Pass
Po'ogaan - Pass.
Only Obazaya goes prone and takes 1d6 ⇒ 2 points of damage.
The rest of you, keep your footing, and can assist an NPC of their choice on the top deck (either Cyrus, Desir, Visavra, or Taeon) or can move to the wheelhouse and take the helm.

![]() |

Po'ogaan leaps into action. Seeing that the kish is tending to Visavra, the grippli shoots out his tongue, hoping to grab ahold of Desir to prevent his vidgame opponent from going overboard.
The tongue is for flare, not mechanics (for Starfinder anyways). If you prefer, you can replace "shoots out his tongue, hoping to grab" with jumps on his legs, hopping to grab".

Taeon is the only NPC who is slammed onto the deck. Meanwhile RKT-7 realises that the ship should be in submarine mode for this part of the trip and is successful in activating that mode and safely steering the Witani through the hazard. Visavra is impressed by your actions. The Captain is also impressed by RKT-7's quick thinking.
For dinner on the second day of the journey, Kershek and the crew prepare an extravagant banquet on the top deck. Kershek proudly shares that most of the ingredients were caught or foraged from the River Between. The river is calm, the weather pleasant, and the food delicious.
Unfortunately, the feast is disrupted by a pack of curious colorful, otter-like aquatic mammals with glowing fur—who swarm the ship.
Athletics - to carry of toss one overboard.
Bluff - trick some into going overboard
Intimidate - scare them overboard
Survival - coax them overboard

"Wow this really is really good is there more where this came from?"
Pockets starts stuffing his cheek pouches full.

That's four successes, enough to mean that the glotters scurry back into the river with a satisfied chirp before they cause too much havoc. Visavra is impressed by your ingenuity.
On the third day of travel, the waters rise and Captain Alzarin announces that the Witani will be submerging. Within hours, the River Between reaches Nisis, plunges below its deep ice crust and dives into the vast underwater ocean. Desir invites her friends and you to pass the final leg of their journey by playing cards below deck.
Cyrus is a horrible card player and spends most of the time fidgeting or complaining that the cabin is too hot.
Desir is a decent player but is more focused on chatting than playing. She steers the conversation to sports, gauging your interest in brutaris, sports, and esports.
Visavra is a competitive card player and remains engaged in the game, no matter how casual or frivolous. She’s the first person to remind someone who’s distracted that it’s their turn or compliment a well-played hand.
At midday, as Desir is in the middle of boasting about her winning goal during the last brutaris game of the season, a large shadow overtakes the hull windows and a scaled tail smashes against the ship, cracking the glass and veering the Witani off course.
To maintain the hull’s integrity, you must attempt a Computers check to activate the emergency shutters, a Engineering check to manually force
the emergency shutters to close and seal, or a Perception check to locate the nearest access panel and engage the emergency lockdown mechanism.

Three successes. The emergency shutters emerge from the hull and encase all the windows, preventing the destruction of the Witani.
Once the damage has been contained, Captain Alzarin quickly gets the Witani back on course and prepares for its final ascent towards Merhja.
Again Visavra is impressed.
The Witani emerges from its dive, rising through the waters to dock at a marina in Merhja, a bubble city attached to the underside of Nisis’ exterior ice sheets. Merhja has normal atmosphere, standard gravity, and a warm climate.
As the group leaves the Witani behind and enters the marina, Cyrus insists that it’s time for you to part ways as well, and that he and his friends will be fine the rest of the way. You should know that they need to ensure Visavra arrives at her hotel to fulfill the terms of their contract.
Fortunately Visavra rebukes Cyrus and you all continue on together.
Lavish hotel grounds sporting reclining chairs, sunbeds, and fountains entice visitors to relax in the lap of luxury, while a raised stage featuring a grand piano is set to provide live music. Today, however, the stage is silent, and the chairs empty. The concierge lies unconscious at the hotel doors, and a gang of pirates step out of the shadows, weapons drawn.
We’ll make this easy, says one of the pirates. Surrender Visavra, walk away, and we’ll pretend we never saw you.

Ref save, 2 round, drop and roll: 1d20 + 3 + 2 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 3 + 2 + 4 = 15
Source Starfinder Core Rulebook pg. 273
You are on fire. As long as you have this condition, at the start of your turn each round before you take any actions (or attempt the Reflex saving throw described below), you take the listed amount of damage as fire damage (or 1d6 fire damage, if no amount is listed in the effect that causes burning). Fire damage from multiple sources that inflict the burning condition is cumulative.
At the end of each round you are burning, you can attempt a Reflex saving throw to remove this condition. The DC of this saving throw is equal to 10 + the amount of fire damage you took this round from the burning condition. If you succeed at this saving throw, you lose the burning condition. You can attempt a new saving throw each round you have this condition, and you receive a +2 bonus for each previous saving throw you’ve attempted in consecutive rounds.
You can also automatically end this condition by jumping into enough water to douse yourself. If you don’t have enough water on hand, you can spend a full action to roll on the ground or otherwise smother the fire to attempt a new saving throw with a +4 bonus (plus any bonuses from previously failed consecutive attempts) to end the condition.
