Lady Constance, observing the violence the leshy legion has brought while conveniently ignoring the violence her creations have wrought at the same time, shrieks at each strike and hides behind a nearby bush. Slo Poke takes aim once more at the pink-flowering leshy, tossing the spent cartridge off to one side as he reloads, hoping to make a distraction before he fires again.

Bamboom spreads into position, lashing out at the awful leshies, which appear to have been corrupted and be no better than fleshies.

BY THEIR COMBINED MIGHT the leshy legion fells the final leshy!

With a shriek, Lady Constance hurls as many insults as she can think of at the five of you as she runs away from the garden, racing inside and slamming the door behind her.

It's a simple enough matter to free your lavender leshy friends, who give Bamboom a promise never to deal with fleshy-types again and give Fluff Fang a hug that's a little too strong. They tell you that Darius Wick waylaid them at the river crossing and gave them to Lady Constance in an effort to be invited to her parties. Lady Constance agreed while Wick was present, but after he left laughed out loud and refused to send him an invitation. What a mean girl!

The party manages to convince Popcorn not to burn down both Rosentry and Petalbrook, while that evening Reaching Rings disappears into the shadows as mysteriously as he first appeared and Slo Poke moseys off into the sunset.

And curtain. Feel free to add a closing post if you wish.

Bamboom considers spitting at the town as he leaves, but it doesn't deserve his water. If anything, it deserves -- as Popcorn wanted -- to be burned to the ground, and Lady Constance punished for being a fleshy her crimes the way Wick was punished.

Still, all's well that ends well, and they've saved the day. He nods to his recent companions, sure that they will get to play be called on again at some point.

Slo says nothing, just tips the broad brim of his hat as he moseys off into the sunset.
