As already said: I could play, but only a pregen as I have no free CORE character in range.
However, which players/characters are still committed to your game?
I thought Damiar and Iovo Apastron dropped out (see below), so currently there are only two (Markus and Salvio). Or am I mistaken and they joined the game again?
Pursuant to a previous conversation with the GM, Damiar and Iovo will be dropping from this campaign.
Thanks for understanding!

Currently, If you bring the level 4, the APL is 4.4 and rounds down to 4, which means you'll play subtier 3-4 with no adjustment.
If you bring the level 7, APL is exactly 5. You'll play subtier 6-7 with 4 character adjustment. I'll suggest this option since there are a level 5 & 6 in the group.
Edit: hard to suggest with only Core PCs.
I don't know if we'll get a 6th player to join us, though. A 6th player would probably change which tier we do.
Edit edit: Oh, wow. I just realized we still have over a week 'til we start. I thought it was this Monday coming up.

Salvio is correct(see quote below) - if I bring a level 4 pregen, we could play down without 4-character adjustments, as we players have the option to decide to round down to APL=4.
We would have to play up (with 4-character adjustments) if we players choose to round up to APL=5. But in that case I think I should pick a level 7 pregen in order to give us a better chance to succeed.
However, I do not want to get anyone killed if we play in higher tier just because I chose a level 7 pregen (which would deny the other players the chance to decide if we play up or down).
But in corner cases, the picking the level of the pregen is up to the GM (see below)...
In order to determine which subtier a mixed-level group of PCs must play in, calculate the group’s Average Party Level (APL). Divide the total number of character levels by the number of characters in the party, rounding to the nearest whole number.
If the result of the Average Party Level calculation ends with 0.5, the players should decide whether to round up or down. The selection of pregenerated characters might affect the APL. In some cases, there is one pregenerated character level that is clearly more fitting to the PCs’ levels, such as when all or most of the PCs fall in the same subtier. In corner cases, the GM should choose the level of pregenerated characters to provide a fun and fair experience for her table.
Scenarios in Seasons 0 through 3 were designed for four characters. For these scenarios, if the APL is between subtiers, a party of six or seven characters must play the higher subtier. Parties with four or five characters must play the lower subtier.
Starting with Season 4, scenarios were designed for six characters and contained methods to adjust for tables with four players. When the APL of a table is between two subtiers (like APL 3 for a Tier 1–5 scenario), a party of four characters must play the lower tier without any adjustments for party size. A party of five to seven characters whose APL falls between two subtiers must play the higher tier with the four-character adjustments found throughout the scenario.
In the fringe case where there are no PCs that are high enough level to have reached the subtier level (such as a party of six 3rd-level characters), the group can decide to play the lower subtier.

GM Roll4initiative wrote:@Kaervek78, it would be pretty funny if you played the pregen bard, sorcerer, or wizard, but, totally up to you who to bring.Wizard it is. ;-)
Do we really need more than half the group be Wizards?
The other characters are:
Damiar Bard 5
Iovo Wizard 3/Rogue 3
Farlen Wizard 5
Salvio Wizard 3
Marcus Monk 4

There is a folder filled with BB Code for the Pregens that could make it easier to make the switch.

Ezren has 0 posts. You could just rename him to Seelah.
I already made a new alias for Seelah, so I kept Ezren as is. His time will come, he will get his chance... ;-)
Thanks for the link to the folder filled with BB Code for the Pregens, it really made it easier!
However, I found an error in Seelah's sheet for Level 4: Power Attack is not -2/+6 but -2/+4, as she is using a longsword and a heavy shield...
Who can correct this there?
(It seems this error exists already in the PDF of the Paladin pregen and for all levels. I do not know why the designers assumed she attacks with a 2H weapon...)
