Bee watches shocked as Bitty runs afoul of another pit trap. He glares at the ruffian again. "Now that's not very nice. If you wanted to fight me I'm up for that. But this isn't how you go about it. You should instead have your agent talk to my agent, set up a ring, gather a crowd, and get some referees to make sure that it is a fair fight where no one actually gets hurt."
"But apparently you don't want a fair fight where no one actually gets hurt." He stares the man down. "Fine."

Casting his aiding sigil, Ashun empowers Bitty Blue, covering her hands with a glyph like tattoo to try to help her, "Bitty, any wounds?" His other hand points towards bling bling boy Anne quickly draw a circle with an arrow and stars inside, pulsing it trying to flinch the leader. "Stop. You will not get anything out of this."

"Gah!" The crit hurts Bitty deeply, and she's filled with rage. That shot could have hit Egg!
Clear your mind, little one. As Bitty is hanging on for dear life, she remembers the words of Grandfather Ifukube. My child, you are made from clouds. You are made from air. Someday, you will leap and the wind will catch you and you will fly. Until then, keep leaping. How else will a hatchling learn?
She takes a deep breath and shouts. "I am a dragon, I am made of wind and cloud, and I will claw my way to freedom!"

Bitty manages to climb out of the pit. She yells at the ruffians, who laugh and respond (said with a cockney accent) "And wot will ya do lassie? Float around until we fall flat on our backs dying with laughter?"
As Bitty retreats towards Bee, Bee leaps into action. He plunges his sword into Pink's eye and kills him instantly (Crit). He feints high but really strikes at Orange's liver. Orange is left cross-eyed and doesn't react until the blade enters his liver, killing him.

Bea's eyes pulse with a purple glow as Ashun touches the blue gnome's back, giving her a slight chill in her veins as the pain subsides and the wounds start closing, "I am sorry, I thought that we would be helping someone's parents, not getting stoned." and after Bitty manages to catch her breath, the changeling draws once more another aiding glyph that tattoos Cath's hands and forearms, empowering her body.

At the sight of his last companion being casually slain, Black's nerve breaks and he makes a run for it, calling, "Nice knowin' 'ya Wis! I suggest you scram as well before this lot gets ya!"
Upon hearing this, Wiston also bolts from his hidey hole with a scream. But his knees turn to water at the sight of the carnage and you're able to run him down with little problems.
"Okay. OKAY! I confess! There is no orphanage. This was all a setup with the Bloody Barbers to get some coin. We had no idea you would be this formidable!"
As Wiston confesses, members of the City Guard arrive. Seeing the gore and bodies, they immediately demand to know what's going on.

Ashun looks a bit befuddled, "Orphanage? I think you misremembered your con, this time it was about your parents needing money.", and he sighs to the man, disappointed in him.
Then turns around to see the watch coming over, and calmly explaining what happened, "Good evening sirs, Winston here asked us for help, but he and the Bloody Barbers ambushed us to down us and take our belongings. We asked them to stop, but they were keen on attacking us, forcing ourselves to retaliate in self-defence.", his accent and soft-spoken mannerisms making it clear he's not from Absalom, and he bows in respect, showing that he's being sincere. He looks towards the man on his knees and then back towards the guards, "I am willing, and I am sure Winston is too, to cooperate if any further explanation is required."

Seeing the last of their enemies fleeing, Bee takes a quick look around just to check that no new problems have arrived. Seeing nothing but town constables, he breathes a long shaky sigh and leans against the wall of the building he is standing next to. He looks at his sword and considers putting it in its sheath still covered in blood, but decides that it would be too much work to clean the scabbard later if he did that. He slowly slides down the wall of the building and ends up sitting in the cobblestone street - his sword lain haphazardly next to him and he rests his head on his arms crossed over his knees. "Ooowwwwww," he moans quietly.

Then Bitty says, "And they nearly cracked Egg! If it weren't for my friends here, Egg and I would been no more than broken shells and goo. You can't let that gang keep doing this to good hearted people and dinosaurs. It's not right!"
Then Bitty sees Bee leaning against the wall, and she turns away from the constables. "Bee! Bee! Are you alright?"

Cleaning her blade before sheathing it, Cath looks at Winston with a look of scorn before speaking towards the watchmen, "To be honest, I felt the story Winston here was somewhat truthful, which was why I agreed to help him. He was asking multiple people at the Rabbled Rouser, so there would be plenty of witnesses." Sighing and shaking her head, Cath gestures towards Bitty and the bodies of the bandits on the ground, "We had followed Winston, and my good friend Bitty unfortunately fell into a trap these "Bloody Barbers" set up," now pointing towards the pit trap in the alley while continuing. "They were focused on her while she struggled to hang on to the ledge, attacking with blades. The rest of us came to her defense, which led to the deaths of these fools."
Grabbing her arm, she winces before moving towards Bee, "You okay there? You fought well, but perhaps you should be a tad less," she chortles before smiling at the gnome, "flamboyant."

"Bee! Bee! Are you alright?"
Bee looks up and smiles a bit at the young Gnome. "To be honest ... not really." He pulls at a bit of his white streaked hair. "You know what this means better than most anyone else here. But I don't think any of us really know what it means until it starts happening."
"I'm just tired. But not because I didn't sleep. I'm exhausted, but not because I worked and fought too hard. And I hurt, but not because I got stabbed. And that doesn't even make any sense to me."
"I just need a minute to gather myself together again." He chuckles a bit. "This is the main reason I stopped fighting for pay. No one wants to see an old Gnome fight. Half the crowd would leave once they saw me getting ready. When I won people would think the fight was rigged. When I lost people would get mad at my opponent for beating up on me. At least being a Pathfinder I don't have anyone boo'ing me when I win a match."
Bee reaches out and picks up his sword again and starts cleaning it off. He smiles back up at Bitty again. "Really, I'll be fine. I'm not dead yet and I don't intend to live as though I am."

Bitty touches the white streak in shock, and then bites her lip. "Wait a minute! Oh no no no no!"
Then she decides to be very bold and she grabs Bee's hand. "Grandma Beryl says there's one treatment for the Bleaching, and that is new sensations, new journeys, new adventure. A life of danger is a fine one for any gnome, but too much of any one thing, even fighting, can be bad for you. So we're going to do different stuff together. Go different places together. And you are going to get better!"
"You are going to be around when Egg hatches. Do you hear me, Bee?" She pokes a finger into Bee's chest. "I don't make friends easily. So the ones I have are extra important!"

Bee's smile gets quite a bit wider as he lets Bitty pull him back to his feet. He finishes cleaning his sword and puts it away. "I know. I'm working on it. Maybe things will get better - and I'm glad to have friends with me for it."

Wiston blubbers and confesses his role in the scam. The leader of the city guardsmen looks at you thoughtfully.
"We did receive many reports of people getting ambushed in this area. That's why I decided to investigate this myself. I'll take this one into custody. Please follow me back to the station to give your statements and perhaps receive a small reward from us."
You all troop back to the guard station and give your statements. After Wiston is booked in, the guard captain agrees to give you a small reward of 4gp for defeating this band of robbers.

After giving the statements to the guards, on our way back to the lodge, the changeling makes a comment based on what happened earlier. "That was a very proficiently clean cut, Cath, it was impressive indeed.", looking then to Corabee, "And I do not think you are that old, Bee. It is always a fun show to watch you fight. But if the age bothers you, I recall myths and legends about a rejuvenation potion, may take a while, but being an alchemist I may be able to find its formula and recreate it if you would like to try it out." and gives a smile to the flashy gnome, then looking towards the shisk, "Also, Rinshu, I believe I owe you a beer. Next time we stop, consider it paid." and nods to him with an arcing brow, as if saying "You were right.".
And then, reading the notice, the guy who medicates turns to the rest of the party, "Well, I believe this one may take a while longer than our last two adventures. Perhaps buying something before we leave might be a good idea.", and right after Ashun is done with his preparations, he leaves with the others towards the Glorious Payoff.

Bee makes his way to the guard station with the others. His report is fairly simple.
"I think the others have described things quite well. The only thing I would add is that they fought in a most unprofessional and unfair manner. You can see the pits that they dug in the streets to trap people - and then when someone fell in, they would attack that person almost exclusively."
then to Corabee, "And I do not think you are that old, Bee. It is always a fun show to watch you fight."
"Thanks. I'm actually only in my early one hundreds. Really too young to be going white already. But sure, I'm up for trying whatever you think might help."

Reading through the note, Bee grins widely. "Ooooh, an undercover mission. I am not going to miss out on that." He follows after the others to meet the ship.

Bee makes his way to the pier mentioned in the note. He waits for the others to arrive as well, then approaches one of the dock workers around the ship. "Hey, do you know where we could find Capt. Benarry or one of the other officers of the Glorious Payoff?"
