The half-elf attempts to focus and recall something about his foe, "This one is an ogre, I doubt it surrenders. I actually hope it doesn't. Sometimes it's just worth immediately removing an evil threat to the world."

Hamish can continue, and Zeldana is up as well.
@GM: Don't forget Tabar is up too. :)

Also, Hamish already acted. He smacked the ogre which broke the illusion for him so that’s why he did the knowledge check. It would only be fair to the foe to get a shot back at him. :)

As Winnie gets into position, the oversized Hamish swings at it! But the owlbear ducks under the attack and gets into position with Zeldana. Together, they ravage the foe who, as he falls, is revealed to be an ogre!

In the unlikely event the last foe is still standing:
Trajan points his nodachi at the last foe and says, "Feel the holy power of Iomedae!" as he smites the large version of himself.

Victorious over their devious foes, the Pathfinders search the area.
A broken wayfinder lies buried among the upended stonework among empty bottles of wine, tools bearing the mark of an Absalom smithy, and spare crates marked for delivery to “Faireven” at the Pathfinder Society in Absalom.
One of the shattered sarcophagi holds the remains of a hero of the invasion of Taldor, his defeated foes’ ashes sealed in chain-wrapped urns at his feet. Inscriptions upon the urns proclaim their names and sad fates, such as “Polonus Talavertes, Champion of Cassomir: Bound to forever serve the soul of mighty Raakin”.
But most importantly, the remaining stolen gifts from the wedding are there!

"We shall do what we can to temporarily repair or at least cover the remains until the authorities can send people to properly repair or replace the tombs. I hope they won't be offended but I feel I should at least say prayers for those whose eternal rest has been disturbed."
Trajan takes out his copy of Acts of Iomedae and gives a solemn prayer for the honored deceased.

GM Jhaeman |

Having uncovered a nefarious plot that would have discredited themselves, Farendir Faireven, and the entirety of the Society, the Pathfinders do themselves great credit when they return to Katheer. The captured sorcerer Ibn-Chadli faces the harsh justice of the Satrap's Court, as he's sentenced to a life of forced labor in the hellish salt mines of Zho!
As rumor spreads among slavers of the region that the Pathfinder Society is not to be trifled with, Pathfinders throughout Qadira travel with the gratitude and assistance of the father of the bride, Master Bashir, who promises to continue providing the Society with intriguing relics.
And perhaps most importantly, with their marriage saved, the newlyweds are able to tell the memorable story of their wedding night with a smile, secure in the knowledge that this story, at least, has a happy ending.
That is a wrap! Thanks so much for playing! A great group of role-players, and I really enjoyed running it. The scenario has been reported. I'll aim to get the Chronicles ready by this weekend.

The bard shrugs at Trajan's prayers, "I hate to say it bud, but these are Sarenrite sacred. They probably care about as much for your prayers as they would for mine. But it is a nice thought. Let's clean up here and get these idiots back for justice, and to further clear our name."
He enjoys writing a detailed report for this one. Finally a good result on a mission. And the wedding was a lot of fun, even with the issues near the end.

"I understand they are Sarenrites but perhaps they won't mind and Iomedae and the Godclaw will hear me and help protect their spirits and their remains. If only I knew of a worshipper of the Lady of Graves to ask for her assistance as well..."
Trajan shoots a completely innocent (yeah right!) look at Hamish.
"After all, your fine deeds and words have aided us immensely in this endeavor. Talking information out of the wedding guests to find the Hall of Purifying Flame, barging in and telling them their 'home warranty' was about to expire, bravely taking the damage from the trap, the deft way you handled Samara the Insightful, and all of the inspiration and good hope that you've provided us, the Gods will surely listen to you!"

Trajan's eyes widen, "I'm just buying Hamish one drink and a cigar. Do you realize how much this armor cost? I didn't get a discount on it even though I'm a Hellknight...I guess I can buy you one drink as well since you helped me removing and putting on my armor."
"No wonder I've never heard of a wealthy paladin..."

"I haven't heard of that Admiral, no. I would think any money paladins amass would be spent on equipment to continue their missions. That's what I do with any gold I earn; although I also won't live long enough to enjoy it."
