I'm fine with moving on.
GM, can you remind us what our current quest is? I feel like we've been down in this dungeon forever and I think I've lost the plot a bit. The Pathfinders sent us to rescue somebody, right? And we've seen neither hide nor hair of them since we got down here?
Shathee
We captured the leader of the tower girls and have her tied up, unconscious, and out of the way if memory serves correctly. But I believe there were rumors of missing people as well we were hoping to find something on. But I agree, I'm not quite sure how much further down we are supposed to go. Other than the strange traps (still missing Saria technically) and the random demons down here, I don't believe we've seen any sign of missing individuals.
Let's move on to the crying lemure.

The main reason for the first group to come down was to see if there were other shards of the Sihedron star down here since one was found here earlier. The second group was pursuing the missing persons issue. You had found evidence that led you to the pylon and are on the search for the missing people or clues to those who may have taken them. The peculiar thing about the missing people is that some had been found. They all had their memories wiped, to include who they were so they were found wandering the darkside of the bridge area. There was reported activity at the pylon so you came this direction to check it out. The tower girls were operating here but had been taken down by the first group. Plus, they seemed to be looting the place, not working a kidnapping caper. So you are still on a search for answers.
No one else on the team decides to touch either of the columns so with an energized and enthusiastic Aurie in the lead they head for the crying lemure. As you approach his area you can still hear his lament.
Aurie de Valois
If you are bullied, just hit them in the face!
A very energetic Aurie says to the Lemure
You want to stop being weak! Work out! Lift! Push your limits! And thats easy because your limits are rather... quickly reached! But thats means they are even more easily overcome!

"I believe there should be a reward for clearing out the imp. We're not going anywhere 'til we've been properly paid," Shathee argues back at the lemure. "We've expended resources and lost one of our members on this journey."
Can't remember what he offered to pay us and it is several pages of posts back. Does anyone remember?
Shathee
"We've done you a favor and gotten rid of your enemy. We will take the treasure and have one other request," Shathee says. "What can you tell us of the disappearing individuals from the city? Some individuals have been found with their memory wiped. Is there anything you can tell us?"
Ironperenti
"I know nothing of these things. It's very sad. But you may have my treasure." he then steps to the corner of the room and picks up a small pouch and brings it over to Shathee. "Here, I will now go walk my new kingdom." the lemure says and moves toward the door. "Let me through, I must look things over."
Shathee
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25
Just checking to see if maybe he's not telling us the whole truth. I was hoping since he's been in this area for a while he may have a possible lead.
What are y'all's thoughts? Do we go ahead and take out the lemure or let him go wander around and take him out if/when we cross paths with him again?
"Doc" Adams
Doc shrugs. "It ain't attackin' us, so if we leave it be, it's possible it will remember somthin' and tell us later." He sighs. "This's been a really long day so far. If we are determined to keep goin', we should rest so's everyone can get their strength back. I don't reckon we could do much if'n we did take on that lemure. Might even be smart to head back and tell the boss what we've learned so far."
Shathee
"I think we've almost fully explored this area and still haven't found anything any shards or signs of what happened to those people. I am certainly tired and it feels like we've been in here for days. I know we've got this door here," he says pointing south to the door in their room, "and we've got one more hallways we haven't explored right outside this room. What do you say we hit those two then go report back?"
We can certainly come back here if there was something we were supposed to find and didn't. Thoughts?
Aurie de Valois
I guess I cant turn a Lemure into something interesting with some good old pep talk. No rivals to lovers thing with an Erinye for me I guess
Lets hit these... doors and head back afterwards
Aurie says in an upbeat voice
Is this dungeon madness? Not knowing why the f+#$ I am actually in here?
Her internal thoughts are a bit less cheerfull
Ok, I need to conquer this dungeon, lead the party out in one piece, and then party with the party, haha, I am a linguistic genius, ideally on Sheilla Heidmarches expense! Yes, I, Aurie, am a GENIUS!
she then thinks to get her cheerfullness back for real.
Ironperenti
As suggested, Shathee steps out of the room as the lemure goes on his way and moves to the southern door. He listens and hears nothing but he does catch a whiff of salty air now that he is close. Finding no traps he opens the door. The salty tang of the sea fills the air of this chilly room. Wall carvings showing soldiers marching to war are encrusted with salt, and a descending stair in the center of the room is filled to nearly floor level with sea water. A thin layer of blue energy shimmers across the surface of the water in the stairwell.
The blue energy is an evocation force effect. It seems to be some sort of modified force wall but you are not sure how it is modified. It is holding back the water but without testing you cannot be sure what else it may stop.
Molasbar
Spellcraft 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (12) + 11 = 23
Molasbar raises a hand toward the barrier, but doesn't touch it. After a momwnt of concentration, he says "It is some sort of arcane barrier. Not unlike the darts of force we've seen Cimrodel use to great effect. There is some... strangeness to the magic though. Some variation. What that does I cannot be sure without some experiments."
Shathee
"I think we can safely say we don't need to explore any further in that direction. Next hallway?" Shathee asks with an air of relief in his voice. Maybe this we have reached the end and we can return to Heidmarch Manor soon! he thinks to himself.
Ironperenti
I forgot to mention but it is obvious on the map that there is a door on the eastern wall.
Before departing, Shathee checks the door to the east and finds no traps nor does he hear anything on the other side. Opening the door, he reveals a spiral staircase going up.
Ironperenti
A spiral stair rises from the center of this otherwise empty chamber
leading up to a domed chamber some twenty feet above. There are three large windows that allow you to look out into the bay where you can see you are underwater still. Fish swim freely about, seaweed waves in the current, and sitting about forty feet below you is a shipwreck.
"Doc" Adams
"Seems like that membrane down below is a good way to get in and out of this place unseen," Doc mutters. "Assumin' you got a magical way to breathe underwater." He makes a mental note of the position of the shipwreck so that he can report on its location (and the location of the underwater entrance) later.

I'm in favor of heading back. I'm hoping we're right near the end of this map, but we could be in rough shape if we come across a BBEG at this point. Let's head back, take the leader of the Tower Girls and then come finish exploring.
Ironperenti
So, the intrepid explorers decide to pursue the better part of valor and withdraw to recover, report, and retool. They are not accosted by anything but find they are rather deep inside the labyrinth that is the Crow pylon, and it takes over a half hour to walk their way out. They grab the body of the Tower Girl leader as they go.
Their boats are still there though two of the total are missing. then they have to row across the bay in the dead of night. Finally, touching down on the shore under the bridge, the group begins their winding way to the Pathfinder Lodge. Finally, a little past midnight they come to the lodge. The night watch recognizes them and lets them in.
Each of you has an assigned room, you also have a dead wererat with you. What do you do at this point?

I thought we had knocked the leader of the tower girls unconsious and left her tied up and hanging out while we explored further? Rheagar took over watching the unconscious prisoner on page 15 of 36. If something happened to the prisoner that would definitely be something of note.
On another note, I went back through a few too many posts and ran across this tidbit... that Shathee happened to oddly remember at an odod time... But something he could report to their superiors and potentially question the, hopefully-alive, prisoner.
From one of the tower girls...
"Well, one of the other girls went bat crazy. Said we would all bow down to her in the end but she left. The boss is just looking for loot, then we're outta here." One of the girls replies.
It would appear that one of the other tower girls may have found a shard and run off with it.
Aurie de Valois
Ok Aurie thinks as she relaxes
Step 1, inform heidmarch that ms. Wererat is a wererat
Aurie approaches Sheila Heidmarchs office and knocks, if there is no answer she would try her private quarters.
If she is stopped, she will quite genuinely state that it is important and a security issue.
Lady Heidmarch, a moment of your time? It is relevant for security
Ironperenti
After a bit of a pause, Lady Heidmarch answers her office door. She is dressed in the same clothes she had on when you all departed that morning. However, based on her bleary eyes and mussed hair you suspect she was sleeping at a desk, in a relaxing chair, or a cot you know not.
"Aurie, your back," she says suppressing a yawn before glancing at the large clock opposite her door in the hall. "Any success?"
Aurie de Valois
We have thoroughly scouted the area, and brought in one of the tower girls as prisoner. She is however a wererat-lycanthrope and additional safety precautions are likely advisable, not an expect on how to keep shapeshifters locked up, and I also believe her to be infectious.
She pauses
I dont have a good idea on what the security precautions should be, but it is likely prudent to research her with an eye towards undoing her condition. This would certainly come in handy in the future, both as an incentive for defecting, and to possibly deal with such conditions should they afflict members of the pathfinder society.
She switches the topic
The dungeon seemed to be linked to the ancient runelords of Thassilon, specifically one named Alaznist, associated with having a really bad mood. Parts of the garrisons remains consisted of fairly low level extraplanars, such as lesser devils and elementals. There are some unexplored areas remaining, although I assert some of the closed doors maybe beyond our capability to deal with.
Unknown teleportation effects removed several of our team members. One we found again, alive, others still missing, maybe attempt contact via sending?
Ill write up a report in the morning, for now I am going to bath, eat something and sleep.
Ironperenti
"That is an excellent run down but it I'm still in the process of waking. I look forward to a written report. In the meantime, I will have my husband deal with the were-rat. I'm sure he has a secure location he can put her." After saying this she turns one of the rings on her left hand. "As to your purpose," then she notices the others as well, "Each of your purposes. Did you find any other shards or any clues as to what is causing the disappearances?"
A few moments later as you are explaining what you have not found, Lord Heidmarch arrives with a pair of retainers. "Good evening all. Excellent job, we've been trying to catch this one for a some time. There will definitely be a bonus in it for you." His retainers pick up the were-rat and the three of them walk back down the hall.
"Doc" Adams
Doc scratches his nose. "There's a series of underground tunnels and chambers, a lot of it really old and goin' back to the Runelords. So I'd say we're on track to find another shard, if I understand rightly what those are. Also, thought you should know about the underwater passage we found near a shipwreck in the bay. Could be useful information for a Pathfinder lookin' to hide out somewheres, maybe." He gives directions as best he can to the shipwreck they saw from the windows.
Ironperenti
"Interesting, it could call for an underwater treasure hunt as well. Please make sure it is in the report that Aurie writes up so we can advertise to see if anyone has an interest. On track you say, does this mean you are headed back in? Well, in that case, get some rest, join us for breakfast in the morning and then tackle it afresh. If you'll excuse me, I think I'm going to officially turn in as well." Lady Heidmarch says and then excuses herself exiting down the hall instead of back into her office.
Cimrôdel
"Pathfinders, we ought to consider liquidating any materials good that we have no immediate use for, and using that to better equip ourselves, to include adding some spells to both mine and Molasbar's spell books."
