Everyone moves forward keeping a small gap between them. Aurie finds the landing between the two curving stairwells is empty. Three stone boxes, with lids raised, stand lined up against the east wall. A fine yellow powder surrounds them on the floor. It could possibly be yellow mold.

Leylia moves up among the group, stopping behind Shathee. As she reaches for his shoulder she imparts a bit of magic, implanting a hex.
Shathee now has protective luck, activated upon being attacked, so the first attack roll against him has to take the worse of two rolls.

Shathee eyes the yellow powder from a safe distance, putting a hand on Aurie's shoulder urging caution.

Aurie continues as point man moving up the staircase that continues to ascend from the landing. Everyone follows giving space for stealth. Pillars line the center of this long hall. At the far end is a low rostrum, the dusty stumps of ancient votive candles lining its outer edge. Two of these have been knocked over. Colorful murals of Thassilon pilgrims and giants marching over an intact Irespan cover the walls. Across the room, behind a pillar, she sees a huge rat.

Quickly signalling a "one" and a prearranged symbol for "foe" (probably a fist) aurie intends to sneak up and stab the large rat in tandem with Shathee, moving to an obsucred position south of the rat while motioning for shatee to move northwarts, hoping to collapse unto the rat in a pincer that would allow Shathee to flank.

Aurie charges on square south west of the rat, hoping to provide Shatee with a flanking opportunity while also making it difficult for the rat to retreat.

Summary
1: Aurie tries to signal to the rest her intention to move south of the rat to cut of its retreat and flank with Shathee, not sure what roll if any is applicable. We didnt really setup a sign language beforehand, and havent cooperated much previously, so communication f~$*ups are likely. Aurie is not wise enough to consider such things being an issue.
2: Aurie stealths to the position she currently occupies on the map, and waits 2 rounds for shatee to get into position. She cant probably see him.
3: After 2 rounds, she charges the rat moving to the square one south west of it in the progress.

Sorry! I was out of town last week and forgot to post about it. Back in and getting caught up now.
Seeing Aurie's hand signals, he quietly moves up to the indicated target. He smiles at how simple non-verbal communication is after his troubles picking up the local dialect. He stays in the shadows and doesn't make a sound while approaching the dire rat and watching for his teammate to work their way around.
Stealth: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (10) + 15 = 25
Seeing, Aurie jump towards the rat, he moves in as well to make sure the rat doesn't escape or let out a noise.
Not sure there's going to be much left of the rat after Aurie's attack, but he moves in to place just to be sure. Let me know if you need an attack roll or initiative.

Is it? Unless they are quicker then other dire rats, Aurie should have the same movespeed as it does due to fast movement, still hard to catch since I doubt I would get a charge.

Forgot about your fast movement, you are correct, it is as fast as you. However, its movement takes it around a corner so you could not charge. You could chase but not attack.
To everyone's amazement, Aurie takes off after the rat and may actually be quick enough to catch up to it. As she rounds the turn on the stairs she leaps to get ahead of rat (double move ends you just in front of the rat on the stairwell.

He keeps his borrowed sword drawn and aimed at the creature which he can only assume is one of the Tower Girls' Lieutenants, now that its true nature has been revealed. With little knowledge of this condition, he has no desire to find out exactly how it spreads by letting this thing get too close.
