Probably three, if you are good at Tetris.

The cairn stands by a desolate, rocky beach along Genrovis’s southern coast, far from any signs of civilization. The journey from Mersall takes 2 days in a vehicle, traveling through fallow fields dotted with the rusted skeletons of irrigators and wellspring taps.

The forest thins on the approach to a steep cliff overlooking a rocky beach. Birds circle overhead, and foamy waves lap at the shore. Near the cliff’s edge, a domed structure protrudes from the ground, its glass caked over with dirt and plant growth.

There is no obvious entrance to the dome.

We know what that means:
”Mordack Dunstar Perception”: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (7) + 19 = 26
”Sefel Lamunesh Perception”: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (18) + 12 = 30
“Yargnod Perception”: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (18) + 17 = 35
“Telirix Sporestorm Perception”: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12

Yargnod is the first to locate the door, covered by overgrowth. The door is unlocked and opens easily onto a spiral staircase leading downward. It will be tight, but you can navigate Flame Knight down the stairs if you would like. Remember, in combat, i crewed, Flame Knight gets one standard action per pilot (maximum 2) plus one move action. Any two of those actions can be combined into a full action. The pilot(s) get no actions of their own.

>Slide 13< The square in the key does not match those in the map, but I presume the intent is 10-foot squares.

Within the cairn, time seems to flow strangely. Sometimes it feels as if everything around you is in slow motion; at others, that everything around you changes in the blink of an eye. This will have a mechanical effect later, but for now is just weird.

The spiral staircase winds downward, the notches and numbers etched into the stairs at intervals giving it the appearance of a clock’s face unraveled by a surreal dream. The stairs dead-end into a metal door.

In noticing the slowed motion, Sefel will "hop" in the flame knight to see if it drifts more slowly to the ground.

It feels like a gravity effect, but I'm pretty sure it's a time effect.

Sefel looks around to see if there's a console or other hackable input related to the door.

Yargnod keeps Justifier out as they head down the stairs. He doesn't enjoy the weird time effects. Time should just work, just like gravity, without any shifts to either.

Despite THAT particular blindspot, he's pretty clever when it comes to science...

Once the surge passes, two green-skinned creatures emerge from the door to the east, which closes behind them quickly. They take a defensive stance, rifles in hand but not aimed, and the one with the red jumpsuit calls out, "Why do you seek the sacred cores?"

Sefel moves the mech into a better firing position.

Mordack makes a deep cut into the guard in yellow.

Red Time: 1d6 ⇒ 2
Blue Time: 1d6 ⇒ 4

Determining that Mordack is the most dangerous of the intruders, the unhasty guards both take a shot at him.

Static Arc Rifle vs. Mordack: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (8) + 14 = 22
Nonlethal Electricity: 1d12 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7

Static Arc Rifle vs. Mordack: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (5) + 14 = 19
Nonlethal Electricity: 1d12 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11

You are beginning to get the impression that these are not the best-trained guards.

Green does in fact get stabbed.

Wondering where everybody got these dice with only even numbers on them, the two nearby guards swing at the nearest invaders.

Now in position to not burn his teammates, Sefel hits the button and fires on GREEN.

Let's just use the last rolls since he couldn't take the action last round.

Sefel lasers the green-clad creature. That looks like it hurt.

Mordack swings, but without his usual tricks, he misses.

Abruptly, Yargnod feels like he's getting back all the time he's lost and those moving at what a normal pace to him previously are moving ridiculously slow, now.

He almost casually steps back from his attacker, calibrates Justifier against him and takes a shot.

Time is a weird soup: 1d6 ⇒ 2 ⇒ slowed

Sefel notices that the action outside and around him begins to speed up.

Uh oh...

Seeing the path still clear of his teammates, he quickly pulls the trigger against GREEN.

Plasma rifle attack GREEN, E and F damage: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (1) + 10 = 116d10 + 11 ⇒ (6, 7, 5, 5, 8, 9) + 11 = 51

He feels helpless, with the rest of the combatants moving somewhat more quickly. It feels like aiming where someone will be instead of where they are has become impossible.

That damage roll is sad to waste
