Please simmer down now Ezgara, calling for death is going... oh two , maybe three steps too far.
While these misguided druids were going totally off the deep cliff by trying to kill a unicorn, we need to temper some of these hot feelings. Maybe meet a bit in the middle.
Anyone have ideas on how to incapacitate the person that surrendered, at least long enough for us to go forward and stop the *real* threat.

He looks down at Onye.
Onye is ultra important. This whole quest doesn't go off without him back on his feet. .. Oh, I see Ezgara is helping make that happen. Good,. Yes Ezgara. Healing vs killing. Good job swinging the pendulum of your manic behavior.

Suggestions on what to do with the captured druid?

Daehalya looks at Nicky and then at her staff. "We can leave him out cold, though who knows when he will wake up again," she says. "Still, short of murder -- which I agree we should not commit -- that seems our best option."

Knock him out? Not sure what else we can do at this point. We can try to scare him into running too, I suppose.

"Such brutality is enough to drive one mad! Why, are they even going to give him a chance to betray his master first? To babble Oaksteward schemes? No, they aren't even deceiving him, pretending he can make a deal before the beating starts. Which is what kind Ezgara would do, hehehe. He'd never see the glittering knife. So cruel. The truth is so cruel. Ezgara creeps closer to the Oaksteward. Beating to senselessness will be painful. Long, protracted, and very, very painful. Oh yes, so painful.

Ezgara's ramblings may perhaps frighten the Oaksteward into talking.

It seemed like he had something more to say. We should interrogate him before clubbing him upside the head or whatever else we choose.

The druid begins to shake at the though of being bet within an inch of her life. “Bolan is at the hideout. He was going to bring the key once we’d prepared the site with this ritual. We were supposed to send a runner back to tell him when the deed was done.”

“It’s an old gnome forest house, up in the trees. You can make me lead you there, but you’ll never get in. Bolan will hear you coming and lock the place down tighter than a terrapin.” She grins unpleasantly. “You may have beat us, but Bolan’s got twice as many with him, plus friends—friends you’ll never expect.”

She seems to not have much more to say as she begins to shut down in her defeat.

Once he is brought up to speed, he chuffs. "So Onye Dinta should execute him after the traitor to creation leads us to the den of his master? One--not Onye Dinta--should take a robe and disguise themselves as the runner. This will lure Bolan out."

Yes. Yes, we can certainly be sneaky. We can disguise ourelves and I'm thinking our group of people can be sneaky enough to pop Bolan like a pimple.

Nicky is excited about this. He'll be a part of sneaky team or the guy putting on the red robe and telling Bolan they completed the ritual. After thinking about things, maybe he should be the robed deceiver.

Daehalya also looks uncertain. This plan seems fraught with danger, but she doesn't have a better one. Fighting this Bolan here, rather than there, seems like it will at least eliminate some of his advantages.

That said, we should make sure we take time to heal first!

You have time to heal up. Assuming you are having the druid lead you to the hideout?

Dragging Korimona to her feet you strip the cloak and helm from the two deceased Oakstewards and pass the disguises about as you make the trip through the forest with Korimona leading the way. You notice a trail of unicorn blood leading back to the Altar site as they must have wounded the Unicorn back at the hideout while drugged and lead it all the way out here.

The Oakstewards largely ban humanoid settlements in the Wilewood, reserving them for the fey and other native creatures. Years ago, however, several groups of gnomes exiled from nearby Omesta successfully petitioned for the right to settle here, citing their people’s own fey origins and their dire situation. The settlers established a few tiny freeholds in the forest, incorporating Omesta’s arboreal building style into their enclaves. More recently, Bolan’s malcontents have taken over one such enclave, a small commune called the Greenleaf Forest House, and transformed the once‑peaceful gnome village into a fortified rebel hideout.

Under Korimona's guidance you arrive from the south. New map posted.

Just ahead, the forest thins to reveal a chaotic network of brightly painted wooden houses high above. The structures are all several stories tall and interconnected by swaying rope bridges. In the southeastern corner of the enclave, a wooden staircase spirals upward from the forest floor to a suspended gazebo. Atop a tower at the enclave’s northern end, a small canvas-sailed windmill creaks in slow circles.

The whimsical houses are contrasted by recent fortifications: the trees’ lower branches have all been shorn clean, and the bare trunks shine with grease and are studded with downward-pointing wooden spikes.

A wooden staircase spirals from the ground up to a gazebo‑turned-pillbox twenty feet above the forest floor. The structure’s windows are completely boarded up except for a few small murder holes. To the east and west, steep rope bridges ascend ten feet from the landing to larger buildings.

Will give you time to plan and approach how you see fit.

Yes, I see a plan forming. See the windows directly south of the round house. I can use my female accent and try to mimic Koromona's drawl. Since I'm much farther south, it'll draw the watch's eyes away from the stairwell to the south west.
A few of you sneak into position.
If I can engage them in conversation, I'm usually glib enough to get information from them and their attention. You'd have to get up there and secure the room in order for the rest of us non-sneaky types to catch up.

Depending on the other people's replies, Nicky starts working on his accent to get reasonably close to Koromona's alto tones. He also grabs a palm leaf and wraps it into a megaphone shape. Using this as a prop, it'll help his deception in case the listener thinks the voice/tone/speech is off.
Nicky practices his words, saying the same thing, but in different pitches and cadence. Success. Suc-cess. SUCK-cess, Success

There is no escape. No. There is no escape.

The skinny old elf scuttles through the forest and into the fray, up the stairs, giggling as he easily slips past the oakstweard. None know Ezgara's devious mind!

Acrobatics (T): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23

He points at the Oaksteward below him on the stairs. Smash this one, Daehalya! Smash them!

Assuming a triple move (90') plus a square of difficult terrain to tumble through. Let me know if that is an issue.

Seeing Onye take a crossbow bolt-- Ohh.. that is really hurting. I'm going to have to search these buildings for some herbal cures or remedies for you Onye. They are a pack of druids after all .There *HAS* to be some "patch you up" gunk around here. Even if these are end of the world druids, hopefully the former gnome tenants left a brew of some sort behind.

Area within 10' of Bolan is difficult terrain, marked on the map. Those that enter that space will also take the Guardian Thorns damage (2d10 Piercing w/ DC 18 Basic Reflex)

Onye collapses as the thorns pierce him from all directions before the druid even has a chance to crack him on the head.
