Most of the folks wind up on the porch while the Rogue and Barbarian continue the climbing. remaining climb checks: 2d20 ⇒ (4, 10) = 14 Assuming Kuikka pauses prior to climbing over the banyan tree, the others walking in manage to catch up.
The two climbers however have just finished the climb and start to switch the rope over to repel down. Both Nate and Cara are sitting on the wall top.
As they watch and as the others on the porch start to move forward too, an audible jingling of bells fills the air, a noose made from one of the many banyan trees branches closes around Kuikka's Larm, Rarm, LL, Rl: 1d4 ⇒ 3 left foot. The branch whips into the air taking the paladin with it suspending her 10' hanging up-side-down. spell hp damage: 1d6 ⇒ 6.
A cry of comes from the southern stairs on the far side of the moat."Intruders on the bridge! Get them!"

@Nate- normally when you fail a DC to move on a surface you fall prone. I feel here you could simply abort the shot. DC10 reflect to not loose the bullet. Or you could continue the shot and fall. DC15 ro catch yourself on the wall top or the rope. This would escentually leave you prone on the wall top, but you get at roll to hit the archer. Nate, let me know what you want to do. Either way I need a reflex save.

@Cara - You are 30' up on the wall top with Nate. You would not have been able to move up the wall, transfer the rope to the other side and get down in the time it took your party members to just walk in. Now, that being said you have a plethora of options from the wall top. You could jump down, use acrobatice DC15 to ignore the first 10' and convert the second 10' to non lethal, you would take 1d6 lethal and 1d6 non lethal and fall prone. if you do not pass the acrobatics, you would take 1d6 non lethal and 2d6 lethal and fall prone. You could climb down the rope, with a double move you could end 10' up still and with a free action drop the last 10', 1d6 non lethal damage applies and you are standing or you could use acrobatis with the drop DC15 and not take any damage and land standing. Or you can double move down the rope at double speed (1/2 you move speed or 20') increasing the climb check to dc 10. This would allow you reach the bottom with 20' of movement still to advance. Probably your best option. If I don't hear from you this is the path I will assume you take. Yes the steps south of the tree covered bridge are steps down to the ice.
Ice movement- 2 squares of movement to enter a square with ice, acrobatic is increased in difficulty by 5 and Dc10 to run or charge.

Aaah, ok. Glad I didn’t make any assumptions about location. What is the check or is there one to get over the tree?

Tree is 6' wide and requires a DC15 climb check to climb. 1/4 speed during the one square of climbing. So if you want to move across the tree is 20' of movement ie. 5'up =20'land movement. I would have just made it difficult terrain but have to use the scenario as written. But I guess it sucks equallly for both sides of the battle.

Leon cranes his neck to glance over the tree then pulls out a potion, slamming it back. He suddenly grows very large, towering over everyone on the battlefield and glaring down at the enemies moving up the bridge, ”Jes try it, leddeh.”

Cara moves down the wall 10'. She is now 20' up.
DC 5 is all that is needed to move down the wall with a rope. Cara still has her standard action. She can use that to move further down the rope. (Each move action to climb requires a climb check ie usually 2 each round if you don't get to the destination). So Cara can stop or keep moving. I need a dc5 climb check to do so. She will end up 10' up this round.

This is a little crazy, the tree in my opinion would be much easier to climb as a larger creature, but again I must stick to the dc's as written.
Leon is unable to get a leg up on the tree plus ther is nothing is big hands can easily grip.
The archer again appears from the southern building. He advances on the ice with a strange crunching sound like walking on gravel. He spots Nate hanging on the rope. "It's like target practice."

Cara, can you see the map? I believe you can, but yes you are on the ground. There is no tunnel, only the stairs down to the ice just south of the main bridge blocked by the tree. So, yes you are free to move wherever you like. Please remember ice costs 2 squares of movement. It also requires a dc10 to run or charge, if all the other requirements also are met to do so.
