After pulling off the boards, Aloysius peers at the door handle.
"There's a symbol here. Not sure what it means, but I don't think it's good. Anyone recognize it?"
Aloysius considers if he has seen it somewhere before, himself.

Professor Whitegourd lights up their wayfinder and peers into the room.

You can clearly see the outlines of three humanoids trying to be stealthy
You look into the tavern. The ceiling is 15 feet high, rising a few feet to accommodate the extra elevation of the rooms to the north. Most of the building is made of wood, with the exception of the brick fireplaces and chimneys.

Aloysius draws his sword and raises his shield. He walks warily into the room.

Defending, shield up. Not too sure where they are on the map, but Khaul will be moving toward them.

I think Aloysius can't protect from blue since both need to be within 15 feet. Assuming Ra'uf is still at least alive...
Whitegourd reaches out with a healing spell for Steelwheels.
level 1 heal: 1d8 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12
and casts shield to protect themselves.
AC 19, will block.
