I have a small question about posting. I know that most PBPs use bold text to indicate speech and italics to indicate thought. We had two posts use telepathy back-to-back and indicate it in different ways. Is there an official way of doing it on the forums? I want to be sure that I am not doing it wrong.

The way I have been doing it is using bold text like speech, but <> instead of quotation marks. (Like in the Animorphs books.) If I need to change, let me know.

I personally use "speech", thought and <telepathy>, but as long as you make it clear what you are doing, it's fine.

I don't know what else to do while I wait.

I had a sudden obligation, and while I was able to update some of my PbPs, thie one got neglected. Probably a lesson for me on how close I should get to my normal maximum capacity. In any case, 100% my fault it's been a while, and I apologize.

Can somebody roll Engineering to see what these things are immune to? I need to figure out if I can damage them in any decent way.

Looks like Oda is gone. I've tries reaching out to the player and heard nothing. You are already getting 4-player adjust, so I can't make the scenario any easier. After this fight, I will give you a choice: continue with her as an NPC, bring in a 4th level iconic of your choice (it was secretly Navasi/Raia/whoever all along!) or continue with just the three of you.

Noted. I will hope that Oda returns, but if not, Raia or Navasi would both be welcome.

If it turns out I could have hurt these things, I am going to be so mad...

(Now that I think about at it, we may need Navasi or Raia to even finish the scenario. Most scenarios need at least somebody who can use computers or engineering, and it looks like we have none. I'm a decent healer and I can kill things with brains, but I don't know if I can do anything but 1d6 kinetic against anything here.)

I wasn't sure whether Jasmine didn't roll high enough or we just weren't able to do Diplomacy. If it's the latter, I really don't have anything else I can do.

I will be traveling for the US Thanksgiving holiday from Wednesday to Sunday and will have limited access to the boards. Feel free to continue roleplaying if you want, but I am not likely to post for those five days.

I have noticed that a few times when I asked questions, it takes a long time to get them answered. Is that because the OOC text looks like the text which has links?

I am waiting to see if I can roll to understand the creatures so I know if I can attack them.
