The group makes their way back to the holy chamber and, curious about the fleeing person, take the northern passage.
The narrow passage twists and turns for a couple hundred feet, occasionally opening up into small chambers every 50 feet or so. The tunnel turns to the south and the damp air becomes increasingly stale as you continue along through the tunnel. As you enter another small cavern, the stench of decay grows increasingly evident. Another narrow tunnel exits the chamber to the east. Low moaning sound can be heard coming from the east tunnel.
We're on slide 8.

He did write that he was and he's a person of his word. ;)

GM Roll4initiative |

Ok. Just making sure. I wasn't sure if he meant the tunnel leading into the small chamber you just entered, or the eastern tunnel.
Dorgan heads down the eastern passage with axe in hand. The passage opens into a small cavern littered with bits of broken glass, rotting pieces of paper, and other unusable detritus. The body of a man wearing black robes with red embroidered pentagrams lies facedown toward the back of the cavern.
As Dorgan steps into the small cavern, three undead creatures, slow to react to his presence, moan and groan at Dorgan, reaching out with bony hands covered with shriveled skin.
Everyone may act first and take a single action in the surprise round.

In that case he will just take out an acid flask and stay back.

"I'm right behind you, Mr. Ironhelm!"
Rahu moves up behind Dorgan and takes out his masterwork sai.

Gaius moves forward to see what's going on, and to get a chance at a shot, while flicking his wrist to drop his Wand of Divine Favor in his hand.

Wish I could move, but Halle only moves 20 feet per round...
Halle approaches the most she can, but with too many people in the hall, she can't go too far.
Can I move to a squeeze space with Rahu or Gaius? At least I'd be able to get a little closer to melee.

GM Roll4initiative |

I don't see why one couldn't squeeze and occupy another person's square, but, according to the rules, you can squeeze past an occupied square but not stop in it. The passages in the cavern are sometimes quite low & narrow, though. I'll have to rule that Rahu is in a narrow 3' section of tunnel with a low ceiling covered in pokey stalactites, so it's too difficult to stay squeezed in an occupied 5' wide passage square.
The members of the group move a little closer or into the chamber of undead and arm themselves for battle.
The undead shamble forward to surround Dorgan. Only two of them (Purple & Blue) are able to react quick enough to swing at Dorgan with their fists.

Rahu shimmies and somersaults into position behind the zombie, breaking several eons old stalactites on the ceiling as he moves into the cave. The undead creature doesn't react whatsoever to his movement. It stays focused on pummeling the living entity in front of it.
Fed up with his wand, Gaius tosses it aside. He draws his bow and then fires an arrow. The cramped cavern makes it difficult to fire a shot, though. Gaius is unable to pull the bowstring back enough and the arrow just lobs limply to the ground.
Walks readies a vial of acid, waiting for the chance to toss it at an opportune time and not harm his companions with the splash.

Rahu flurries with fist and sai. One hit is a solid blow, however, it just harmlessly bounces off the zombie's rotting flesh.
Halle attacks with blade, bite, and tail. The sword creates a gaping wound in the zombie and she bites the terrible tasting thing, tearing it apart. The zombie crumbles into a pile of rotten flesh and bone. She spits a chunk of putrid flesh out of her mouth.

"You mean one of these?" as Gaius removes a whetstone from his backpack and offers it to Dorgan.
"And no need to be rich; the Society will provide a Wand for members with a certain level of prestige...or perhaps being Taldan gave me special access?"Gaius chuckles as he returns his Wand to his belt.

From the scenario's standpoint, it's free gear given to you by an NPC. You're expected to use it rather than you're own consumables. But, I totally get that it's something your PC would do.
After healing Dorgan, the group looks around the room. The body of a man in black robes decorated with red pentagrams lies on the floor. Rolling him onto his back, a note falls out of his pocket. Getting a good look at his goateed face, the group discovers he is a dhampir. A finely crafted morningstar lies beneath him and an amulet is draped around his neck.
Two items glow when subjected to detect magic:
A finely crafted morningstar, its business end a black iron skull covered with stubby spikes. (+1 morningstar.)

"A note eh? From someone or to someone? Let's take a look..."
Gaius will retrieve the note and attempt to read it to the group.

The note, written in common and most likely penned by the dhampir, details plans to start an army of undead made from the “fish people” who have been frequenting this cave. It is signed with a drawing of a stylized red pentagram almost identical to those decorating the dhampir's robes.
It appears, though, that his creations had turned against him.
