Please dot (add a post) in here and then delete your post to add yourself to this campaign.
1) I am based in Southeast Asia (UTC +8) so my posting hours may be unusual (especially for those in North America). I usually update at least one or twice per day. Just to keep the game moving, please post at least once every day and at least once during the weekend. If you disappear for more than 24 hours, especially during combat, I will simply place your character on infinite delay just to keep things moving.
2) Please label all three of your actions. Even if you think what you are doing is obvious.
3) If I am unavailable for longer than 24 hours, I will let you know in the Discussion Tab. Out of respect for your fellow players and myself, I ask that you do the same. Real life happens, and real life will always take priority over the game, but out of fairness for your fellow players, please let us know if you will be unavailable for an extended period of time.
4) Please complete the Macros and the Slides linked at the top of the page.
5) Questions, concerns? Feel free to share them in the Discussion tab.
6) Let's have some fun and tell a great story together! After all, that's what we are here for.

Combat Mentor (Vigilant Seal)
While working with less experienced Pathfinder allies, you provide pointers and lead drills that ensure your newer colleagues’
attacks strike true. For any PCs benefiting from a Level Bump and whose levels are lower than yours, you increase the Level
Bump’s modifier to attack rolls to 2.
Normal: A Level Bump increases a PC’s attack roll modifiers by 1.

the elven wizardress enters, her hand upon a quarterstaff. The staff is tapered at the base and carved into a gem-studded twist at the top. On her shoulder is a small draconic creature with purple bluish scales and butterfly wings, snacking on a small fruit pie. Her robes are white as is the floppish hat on her head. On her sides are scroll cases and a few wands. Her skin is the color of ivory which only serves to highlight her midnight black hair and purple eyes.
I am Avonathalanthalasa Caldon, from Kyonin and a student of the art of the Magaambya.Elven is often difficult for non native speakers to pronounce so you may call me Avonatha, if that is easier for you to pronounce. This is Quete she says, pointing at the faerie dragon. Quete continues to smack up his pie. up
She continues, Are there any other followers of the Vigilant Seal present for this mission? Her tone is friendly but matter of fact.

A dark-skinned gentleman in a doublet and a top hat stands up to meet an elf. His exceptionally black clothes are decorated with occult symbols: a pair of tarot cards, the skull of some small bird, some amulets made of bones and so on. In the middle of his chest, on a chain, he has a silver holly symbol of Nocticula , made in an unusual style - it seems to be trying to combine his old and new variations in its aesthetics.
He smiles broadly when he hears about the Vigilant Seal.
Greetings! Solomon Mpadu at your service. He lifts the cylinder slightly. Yes, lady, I am also a representative of this faction.
Next to him flies a little fairy who immediately draws attention to the elf's small dragon. (hireling after one fey mission)

![]() |

"'Sup Avonathalanthalasa. I'm Emmanuel Holysmith, but you can call me Manny. All of my friends do!" The human laughs and strokes his hair back. "Quete, huh? Cool. Is that your guardian angel? Maybe I'll meet mine one day."
Manny pulls out his lute and marches over to Solomon. Eyeing him up and down, gauging him. Bard sense tingles. "'Sup Solomon. I'm Emmanuel Holysmith, but you can call me Manny. All my friends do." He strums it for a bit. "What's your area of expertise? Storytelling? Flute? Waltz?"

![]() |

Battle Rap. Caustic ironic witty poetry. He looks at the lute. It's a new trend, bro. Especially good rhymes and sharp metaphors are called punches. It's like you're hitting your opponent in the head with this. They say it's damn inspiring, bro. Not for enemies, but for the audience at show or for comrades at battle. Solomon instantly switched to some other image, even the body language changed. Now it's not so much a gentleman, but rather the type of "knight of the cloak and dagger" that you don't want to meet in a dark alley of a large city.

![]() |

"I am of the Vigilant Seal too." An athletic-looking Alijae Elf with coffee-coloured skin and red streaks in her dark hair speaks up "Nice to meet you all." She nods towards each of the others in turn. "Ehlanna Sedasseril, Alijae of the White City, Nagisa."
Her voice is soft but firm and there seems to be a little fire in her blue-flecked amber eyes. She wears plain-looking studded leather but her clothes are a variety of bright colours underneath. A carved wooden mask and a variety of tools and weapons sit on her belt.

![]() |

Running in, out of breath, is a female gnome with a red rat’s nest of hair. She wears leather armor, which is festooned with all sorts of tools and weapons.
”Made it!”, she declares with a smile. Looking around, the smile falters. ”Man, they need to clean this place up!”
Turning back to the others, she says, ”Hi! Marigold Longfoot”
She looks at Solomon. ”Whoa, cool outfit! What was that about rhyming insults? That sounds wicked!”

![]() |

Avonatha nods in greeting to those who arrived after her. I am a member of the Cascade Bearers she adds.

![]() |

Quete finishes his snack and begins to fly around the fey attempting to get it to play with him.

![]() |

I'm just a dandy, beauty. Style is the basis, there will be nothing without it. - Solomon smiles broadly again, lifting his top hat as a sign of greeting and great respect. Then he turns to Ehlanna and puts his palm to his chest from the side of the heart.
Thokozani ukukubona lapha, dade. Sike bobabili beze elide. Kwangathi lolu hambo kube yimpumelelo kakhulu-ngaphandle kwalabo balindelwe us esikhathini esizayo!

![]() |

"Oh cool!" Manny plays a power chord on his lute. "I never heard of this battle rap style... If it's kind of like bragging, it should be easy for me to pick up!"
"Marigold. Ehlanna. Good to see you. Know any tunes?"

![]() |

Marigold grins at Manny. A doublet and top hat appear over her armor, similar to Solomon’s, but without the fine details.
”Sure, let’s try this out!”, she replies.
”Your nose is like a turnip!
Your voice is like a shrew!
There’s nothing worse than dying,
Except for being you!”
She looks at Solomon. ”Like that?”

![]() |

Solomon smiles broadly and applauds. That's very good, Marigold.

![]() |
1 person marked this as a favorite. |

"Manny's on patrol,"
"So have no fear!"
"Unless you are a vampire,"
"Then say your prayers!"
Manny lets out a YOW! as he powerslides and blasts a chord from his lute. "Man, that feels good!"

Your adventure begins in the Grand Lodge of Absalom, where Venture-Captain Ambrus Valsin has summoned you to receive their next assignment. A preliminary note has notified you about a task in Osirion, and you're likely prepared for the desert mission. When you arrive, Venture-Captain Ambrus Valsin stands over an imposing desk, studying a large map. Several notes and documents lie scattered about the desk, seemingly in an ordered disarray with several stacks of notes about ancient Osirion manuscripts in one pile, a set of sketches of Osiriani relics in one corner, and so forth.

![]() |

Ambrus looks up with a furrowed brow as he pushes another pile of notes aside. "Well, you’re finally here. Great! We had best hit the ground running with this next assignment. There’s a matter in Osirion, at the Sothis lodge, that requires great care on the Society’s end. You have all proven yourselves worthy agents and I thought this might be a good opportunity to put your skills to use. The first thing you should be aware of with this mission is that—"
KRAAKOOOM!
Suddenly, an enormous explosion rocks Skyreach tower, and Valsin’s eyes grow wide. He rushes around his desk and throws open his door before prompting, "All of you, come with me!" Outside, large flames dance from inside a shattered window on one of Skyreach’s higher levels. A loud, melodic tone rings out from Ambrus’s wayfinder. He takes a moment to open its cover and then puts it away. "Pathfinders, the Grand Lodge is under attack. I need you to head up to that room," Ambrus commands, pointing at the shattered, fiery window above, "and see what’s going on. I’ll try to assess things here on the ground floor and get everyone to safety. Be careful. If my suspicions are correct, this has something to do with the recent attacks on lodges across the Inner Sea. If you find any intruders, try to take some alive! I’m counting on you."

"I was looking forward to some archaeology in Oairion! Let's get this sorted." Ehlanna looks annoyed, drawing her whip and starknife.

![]() |

She nods.
Do I need to use my wand of mage armor or assime I did at the beginning of the day?

How sweet. Solomon looks at the blade, which he easily dodged. At the same time, he composes a quatrain on the move, in which he compares these losers with the Aspids who have already attacked the Grand Lodge in such a way years ago and regretted it very much - and in fact the Aspids were much stronger! (oh sweet 7 season, my favorite one...)
Perform (Oratory): 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (19) + 14 = 33 (Lingering Composition- 4 rounds?)
It sounds reasonable and witty and gives you all +1 on attacks and damage.
After the quatrain, he adds a few more words in the language of the southern continent and the furthest of the enemies begins to rub his eyes...

Manny continues to twirl his whip, listening to Solomon's drop. It's nice, real nice. He's not paying enough attention though, and one attacker gets past his armor. "Whoops!"
