Anastasia's check made it where you don't have to make the check. And you can move through the crowd without treating it as difficult terrain.

Kridash remains quiet throughout the speeches, but he looks at Earl Vernisant with obvious disdain. Once the he unleashes havoc and disappears, he smirks. "Figures...", he mutters to himself for everyone else to hear, and starts looking around for solutions to the current predicament.

He walks towards the people on the room.

"Okay, people. I suggest you get out of here before the aggressive armor hurts you."

For some strange reason, the map isn’t appearing for me. If, as stated by Kridash, Ninnic is right up close to the armors, he will definitely use the distraction to scurry 40’ away in whatever direction is easier, so he can start using magic missile next round. Thanks!

Ninnic and Ilarien both do the clever thing for spellcasters - getting away from people who hit spellcasters.

I'm going to bot Zandu.

Zandu gathers up some mental force and flings it at the nearest suit of armor.

He hits it with so much force the back part of the breast plate is all but annihilated and the remaining armor clatters to the ground.

The crowd pushes and shoves it's way away from the museum just fast enough to leave the two remaining suits of armor able to get to Kridash unimpeded.

Two devastating hits later and Kridash is on the verge of death.

The crowd (indicated by the white boxes) panics and tries to flee. All those boxes are difficult terrain. In addition if you begin your turn in one of these areas or enter it you must make a DC13 Refl save or take nonlethal damage from being jostled.
As a full-round action, you can attempt a DC 15 Diplomacy or Intimidate check to direct the crowd’s evacuation. If successful, the crowd does not deal any damage until the end of your next turn. Furthermore, one character of your choice can move through the crowd as though it were not difficult terrain until the end of the directing character's next turn. You get one character for free with a success at DC 15. For every 5 by which the Diplomacy or Intimidate result exceeds this DC, one additional character can move through the crowd unimpeded. You can also use crowd controlling spells.
You can also call upon the people you've influenced to help you. Each effect can be used as a swift action but only once for the combat-
Cincia: Cincia casts protection from evil (CL 1st) on one Character.
Rasvelg: Rasvelg successfully uses the aid another action to increase one Character's AC or attack against a target
Joleana: Joleana channels positive energy (2d6, DC 14) to harm two undead targets.
Neffery: Neffery moves to flank with one character for 1 round

Anastasia tries to stabilize the crowd but seeing one of the people who stood up to the undead brought low so quickly only increases their panic and they don't listen, jostling and pushing to get away, including someone driving an elbow into her side, accidentally.

After Ash attempts to move the people away, he is not paying attention to the animated armor. Sharpened blades catch him off guard, and subdue him in a matter of seconds. The half orc collapses to the floor, with shallow breaths.

Zandu nimbly pushes his way through the crowd, closer to the downed Ash and the remaining armor bits. "Hey, ugly, over here!" Zandu calls out to the animated armor, hoping to draw their attention. Just to put some emphasis on it, he sends another telekinetic blast hurtling at the most damaged-looking armor.

I see where the misunderstanding is. What Ilarien is standing next to is a window, not a door. The only doors are the double doors toward the middle of the building where the armors came out of. Feel free to revise your action. The crowd is clearing out but are flowing away from the doors so are clearing that area first (with the people who were in that area then filling in the other areas further back.)

Understood--the map wasn't clear. In that case, last round she double-moved to get to the eastern edge of the crowd, and will still have to make a save this round to avoid some NL damage.

The witch escapes the press of people and strides around behind the stage, her jaws working as if she's preparing to spit. As soon as she stops, she turns a bit green, clutches her stomach, doubles over, and vomits out a huge volume of live spiders. Still looking somewhat nauseated, she straightens a bit and points at the remaining suit of armor.

Ilarien is easily able to avoid the jostling of the crowd though she seems to suffer some intestinal distress along the way. Apparently because she ate a lot of living spiders (perhaps to catch a lot of flies.)

The armor has been dead far too long to be sickened by their presence and has no flesh to poison but the spiders do manage to damage it.

The remaining suit of armor steps over the body fallen at its feet and clanks over to what is obviously its biggest threat.

Zandu shudders a little as the stream of spiders pours forth from Ilarien's mouth. "That can't be healthy. And is very creepy. You see a healer about that?" He then flinches as the falcata comes swinging in, barely being blocked by the flickering image of armor around the lithe man. "You really need to watch where you poke that thing!"

He takes a quick step back, then gathers up aetheric energy once more as he sends another shock of rock flying at the armor.

The spiders continue to nibble and gnaw at old leather straps, causing the armor to slowly fall apart.

Will Save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21

However, the armor is able to overcome the Misfortune directed at it.

Anastasia directs some holy energy at the armor.

And it is unable to resist it.

Even with Rasvelg distracting it, Zandu is not able to hit, though.

Ninnic's missiles are enough to send the armor clattering to the ground in a heap.

With the hostile spirits animating the armor and relics, beaten, Joleana, Neffery, Rasvelg and Cincia quickly help reestablish order and tend to the wounded. Busy as they are, they each find time to thank you for your help.

As soon as the most pressing concerns are out of the way, Cincia goes to examine the artifacts the Earl turned against them.

"I don't know where Vernisant acquired the Gallowspire chest, but I'm excited...and worried about the implication that the General Arnisant collection has discoveries such as these that might be hiding elsewhere on the premises. Can the Society send an occultist or other magically adept agent to help me search for forgotten treasures that the general and his family might have hidden away?"

Rasvelg takes an active hand in cleaning up the debris after the battle. "I feel sorry for Vernisant’s guards. Sad that they had to be rescued from a pair of gloves!"

Neffery is beams from having defended Ridonport with his own hands. "Looks like those childhood fencing lessons truly paid off!"

Finally, Joleana replaces her holy symbol. "I was worried I was too old for this sort of thing! Though I'll never retire so long as the people of Ridonport need me."

All of them and clearly, the crowd, are disappointed in the earl’s behavior.

Within 24 hours, hundreds of Ridonport’s concerned citizens surround the earl’s manor and demand answers for what he did. For a time, it seems as though he’s shouting from inside to negotiate some kind of truce. However, a wainwright spots the earl trying to sneak out of his estate by climbing down a chimney, only for the nobleman to slip and tear his jacket.

In the weeks that follow, the Tandak prefecture is ablaze with gleeful stories about how a soot-smeared Vernisant fled with only one boot astride a stolen draft horse.

Vernisant quickly finds his way to Oppara, where he seeks refuge among Grand Prince Stavian III’s loyalists. Even there, he’s followed by questions of why he allowed piracy in his region and why he was soliciting bribes from navy officers, leading to a formal censure issued by the senate and barring him from voting in the upcoming primogeniture decision.

But that happens long after you return to Oppara where Venture-Captain Muesello is ready to debrief you. He listens to your report with
interest.

"I received two different letters about you," he reports.

"One from Cincia Reviamo applauding your assistance and noting that with the earl no longer meddling, she’s been able to begin restoration of the museum. She’s commissioned a brass plaque that commemorates your bravery to defend both Ridonport and the true legacy of General Arnisant.

"The other letter was from Count Orlundo Zespire, and he expressed his gratitude for both resolving his canal piracy problem and humbling Earl Vernisant.

"Beyond that, Lady Morilla and her allies are already acting on your accomplishments. There might be big changes coming in Taldor. Be ready if you wish to continue making history, not just uncover it."

Ilarien sniffs. Politics. Then she composes herself and even smiles a little. "It's good that we were able to help restore order and reduce lawlessness." With a quickly-suppressed twinkle in her eye, she observes dryly, "I trust that the curator has found someplace...appropriate to put the Earl's portrait."

"This was truly a very satisfying mission Venture Captain and give Lady Morilla my regards! These corrupt aristocrats will surely receive their fair judgement when they face the lady of graves in the boneyard!" she says with a smile.

She looks at the group and her withered, blackened hands that are covered by gloves make a formal gesture.

"It was truly a pleasure to serve with you on this mission!"
