got side tracked towards the second half of the week. Getting back on track now though.
If anyone would have done something feel free to dictate it, I will move forward with Lyraesal opening the door.

init order Adrian, Winsome, Aiko, Kelda, Lyrasael, Nevalko, Byron, Floor Corbies start of the round, no surprise round!

Adrian Liu |

Maybe they didn't hear them, Adrian thought.
Those dreams were dashed when the Corbies perked up their heads. It's the hard way then. Adrian briefly opens the door. What one corbie will see is a boot heading straight for its face for the stun followed by backfist to hopefully bring it down.
Stunning Fist (DC 14 or be stunned for 1 round): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Flurry 2: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12

GM-MM |

Zaraleva init: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
Init order: Adrian, Winsome, Aiko, Kelda, Zaraleva, Lyrasael, Nevalko, Byron, Floor Corbies start of the round, no surprise round!
Fort Save: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16
The closest corbie seeing the door open turns and finds Adrian’s flying kick greeting it immediately, the others quickly turn to see their ambush disrupted and prepare to fight.
Status
Corby 1 - 10 damage

Hattori Aiko |

Aiko moves in behind Adrian, stabbing with her pole arm past the monk.
Naginata attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9

Lyraesel |

As the door opens and Lyraesel sees the Dire Corbies begin to react, she drops into a predatory crouch, making a brief gesture as she throws her head back, unleashing a single primal howl that triggers the primal terror of being prey, in her enemies.
Hunter's Howl (20ft radius...should get all 3) DC 14 Will save. Duration 3 rounds
For any that fail, Lyraesel gains +2 bonus on weapon attack and damage rolls against them, and a +2 bonus on Bluff, Knowledge, Perception, Sense Motive, and Survival checks against them

Byron Vhiski |

Byron decides against running into the room and instead studies the one by the door and tries unsuccessfully to stab it with his spear.
Studied target, Attack with cover.
Longspear Attack+ST-Cover: 1d20 + 6 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (5) + 6 + 1 - 4 = 8
Longspear Damage+ST: 1d8 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 4 + 1 = 10

GM-MM |

Init order: Winsome, Kelda, Nevalko, Byron, Floor Corbies
- then round 2 top of the order
Aiko’s attack misses as closest Corby is mostly covered by Adrian and his fearsome assault.
4d20 ⇒ (14, 20, 8, 19) = 61
The one to the North looking ready to spring forward now stops and hesitates at the sound of the howl, u familiar with the sensation of being prey.
Left to go is Winsome! I’ll do Kelda and the enemies once he has gone.

Winsome Briskalberd |

Winsome casts magic missile at the enemy that was injured but not killed.
Force damage: 2d4 + 2 ⇒ (1, 1) + 2 = 4

GM-MM |

Init order: Adrian, Winsome, Aiko, Kelda, Zaraleva, Lyrasael, Nevalko, Byron, Floor Corbies
The missiles impact leaving the corby at the door severely wounded, but still coherent. Kelda sprints forward and engages the northern corby, swinging her blade at its head.
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 211d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13
The blade doesn’t manage to decapitate the enemy but it leaves a nasty gash that is bleeding horribly.
You watch as the corby that’s up top rounds to get view on you. Zaraleva sends a bolt its way as it starts to cast, the bannister provides just enough cover for to keep it safe. Suddenly all of you hear an ear piercing shriek as it opens its beak.
1d8 ⇒ 6 take half on success, on failure full damage and stunned for 1 round.
The Corby to the north tries to attack Kelda despite the fear it’s facing. The one to the south rushes at Adrian, and the one in front of Lyraesal attacks.
N Corby: 2d20 ⇒ (10, 9) = 193d4 ⇒ (3, 4, 1) = 8 no hits
Corby Center: 2d20 ⇒ (13, 19) = 323d4 ⇒ (3, 1, 4) = 8 second hit 2 damage
Corby South: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (8) + 10 = 181d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 81d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4 failed leap, primal charge. No hit
The corby to the north is unable to get past Kelda’s shield as its claws scrape off it in a painful screen. The one that was at the door manages to knick Lyrasael for 2 damage as the second claw misses. The one from the south sprints forward and charged at you Adrian but your quick reflexes are too quick. Charged so -2 to AC

Top of the Order!

Zaraleva |

"Almost had him... What's he doing? Ow!" She tries to cover her ears.
Fort: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16
She reloads and fires at him again, thinking most of the ones on the ground should fall soon.
Crossbow: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 71d8 ⇒ 7
Dang.

Adrian Liu |

The corbies once again proved to be resilient and harder to stun than expected. The monk changes tactics and proceeds to simply pummel the corby in front of him in 1-2 punch combination.
Flurry 1: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Flurry 1: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7

GM-MM |

Zaraleva’s bolt twangs against stone just over the creatures head, hitting what she thought was it due to the double vision from the pain.
Meanwhile Adrian manages to land a blow on its beak sending the creature into a rage as it starts to bleed out.
Status;
Corby North - 13 damage
Corby Center - 20 damage

Cold Iron/Magic: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7

GM-MM |

been about a week; I’m going to bit some people to keep the combat moving.
Winsome- Fort save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21 3 sonic damage
Aiko-Fort save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22 3 sonic damage
Winsome seeing a spell caster sends a bout of magic missies at her to try and keep her off balance. 2d4 + 2 ⇒ (4, 4) + 2 = 10
The missiles explode and nearly knock her over with the force.
Aiko tries to keep up the pressure on the most wounded corby stabbing at it with her Naginata 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 201d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9 the blade extends outwards in a gap between Lyraesal and Adrian and the creature is caught in the chest. Its thrashing stops and it dies as she pulls the weapon free.
Kelda continues to solo her creature sword and shield in hand. 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 81d8 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3 however the avian creature manages to keep out of reach of her sword this time.
Lyraesal manages to catch the one attacking her off guard and leaves a deep gash across its chest, looking very hurt.
While up above the corby disappears into darkness as a globe of inky blackness appears encompassing the north side of the balcony, Kelda, and the corby she was battling.
Init order: Left to go this round Byron, Floor Corbies, Next Round Adrian, Winsome, Aiko, Kelda, Zaraleva, Lyrasael, Nevalko,

Longspear Damage+ST: 1d8 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 4 + 1 = 13

GM-MM |

Aiko, understandable if you were waiting if you wanted to do something else feel free to adjust as necessary! Apologies if I overstepped, just trying to keep things moving.
Byron’s stab misses by a hair as the Corby weaves and tenses ready to attack!
The corby still in the door attacks Adrian slashing at him with its claws!
[spoiler=screen]
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 201d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 193d4 + 3 ⇒ (2, 3, 2) + 3 = 10
Both claws manage to catch Adrian and sink deep as it slashes and rips them out gauging marks in Adrian, 10 damage, two attacks and a rend!
Init order: Adrian, Winsome, Aiko, Kelda, Zaraleva, Lyrasael, Nevalko, Byron, Floor Corbies
Status;
Corby North - 13 damage
Corby Center - dead
Corby South - 7 damage
Necalko/Top Corby - 10 damage

Hattori Aiko |

Aiko moves to support Adrian, her blade lashing out from behind to strike at the dire corby that savagely rended him.
Naginata attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11

Winsome Briskalberd |

Winsome casts coin shot and literally throws money at the problem, shooting the northern corby with a golden missile.
He spends a point from his arcane reservoir to increase his caster level by 1.
Ranged touch attack (coin shot), masterwork: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 4 + 1 = 12
Damage (bludgoning, piercing, magic): 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

Adrian Liu |

Adrian grits his teeth as talons sink into his flesh and tear into it as they slash out of it. He lashes out almost on instinct, slapping down the talons before shooting out both fists a the same time at the chest and beak of the assaulting corby.
Flurry 1: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

Ironfang: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10

Byron Vhiski |

Byron tries to stab again.
Posting now just to get this in.
Longspear Attack+ST-Cover: 1d20 + 6 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (8) + 6 + 1 - 4 = 11
Longspear Damage+ST: 1d8 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 4 + 1 = 7

GM-MM |

Adriana punches land with a crunch and the creature starts to thrash with feral intent. The flailing gives it a chance to survive as Lyrasal and Aiko both miss.
I forgot it in my rolls but the corby to the north and the Corby casting magic are both enveloped in darkness and technically have 50% miss chance. I’ll give Kelda a chance to kill it and see if I can roll over you attack on the feral one.
Kelda in the dark thrashes at the corby trying to kill it raging at the confusion of suddenly in darkness.
Kelda; low is good: 1d100 ⇒ 81d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 91d8 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
You hear the sound of angry squeaking as the one Kelda is fighting is fighting for its life.
Winsome’s coin in the dark; low is good: 1d100 ⇒ 11 it hits!
Status;
Corby North - 24 damage
Corby Center - dead
Corby South - 19 damage
Necalko/Top Corby - 10 damage
Init order: Zaraleva, Nevalko, Byron posted, Floor Corbies

Lyraesel |

From the looks of it, Kelda and her opponent would be out of line of sight (also darkness) and possibly outside line of effect from where you are. If they're in range though, you can't exclude the enemy in the darkness.
"Do I have to be able to see a creature in order to exclude them from the effect of my channeled energy?"
Just like using a Target: creature spell, you must be able to see or touch a creature to affect it (or, in the case of this feat, select it to be unaffected). Pinpointing the square of an invisible creature isn’t sufficient—you must be able to see or touch the creature. Note that this works differently than an alchemist‘s precise bombs discovery, which allows the alchemist to exclude *squares* from his bomb’s splash area (not targets).

Zaraleva |

Zaraleva is a little worried about Adrian's blood loss and not being able to see Kelda. "Can anyone get to the stairs to get the villain on the balcony?"
She shoots, not optimistically, at the caster in the darkness.
Crossbow: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 121d8 ⇒ 81d100 ⇒ 54
"I have no idea if I hit him..."

GM-MM |

1d20 + 6 - 1 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 6 - 1 + 1 = 251d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
Corbies: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 191d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 222d4 + 2 ⇒ (1, 3) + 2 = 61d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Corbies: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 61d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 162d4 + 2 ⇒ (1, 3) + 2 = 61d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
You send a bolt in the darkness to hear no reaction but a moment later a rock comes screaming back at you. It smacks you upside the head for 6 damage, and you hear a slight cackle from above.
Byron stabs out at the now feral corby left at the door, but it swats the spear away absentmindedly.
The corbies still left attack Adrian and Kelda in a rage. The one facing Adrian sinks two claws in him and rips them free for 8 damage. The one with Kelda manages a swipe at her for 5 damage.
Init order: Adrian, Winsome, Aiko, Kelda, Zaraleva, Lyrasael, Nevalko, Byron, Floor Corbies
Status;
Corby North - 24 damage
Corby Center - dead
Corby South - 19 damage
Necalko/Top Corby - 10 damage
Kelda - 5 damage

Winsome Briskalberd |

Winsome moves closer and fires another magic coin missile at one of the corbies attacking Adrian. (I'm not exactly sure which one, but Winsome will favor the one that looks closest to death.)
Ranged touch attack (coin shot), masterwork: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 4 + 1 = 9
Damage (bludgoning, piercing, magic): 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

Lyraesel |

Seeing the corby savagely tear into Adrian, Lyraesel drops low, hooking the enemy's leg and viciously pulling it to the ground.
Ironfang (improved trip): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25

Adrian Liu |

Adrian looks worse for wear as he continues to tear into him. At this time it was clear to make a retreat before he drops. He sends out a couple swipes before he moves back.
Flurry 1: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26
Flurry 2: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19
Confirm?: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
Damage: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (3, 4) + 6 = 13
Is there a way to get to Zaraleva from where I am?

Byron Vhiski |

Byron tumbles in and then attacks!
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
That should work. I attack the one to the north.
Longspear Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
Longspear Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Well, I tumbled really well.

Zaraleva |

From this distance, Zaraleva can't affect anyone in the darkness, but Adrian's quick return helps ensure he gets the full effect. She excludes [selective channeling] the fallen corbies, in case they were only mostly dead. She then taunts the strange shrieker in the darkness, "Ow! You'll pay for that, you fine feathered fiend!* Come down here and fight me!"
Channel: 2d6 ⇒ (6, 4) = 10
<whisper>"Aiko, can you get to the stairs on the left wall, now that you're fully healed?"
*Feel free to nod your head if you get that reference from 1960s American television. Everyone heals 10. Z is back to full.

Hattori Aiko |

The ninja darts off, not sure what Zaraleva has planned, but bringing her reach weapon to cover the stairs for the moment.

GM-MM |

Going to keep things moving. Assuming some attack go to the corby in the dark.
Winsome then lyraesal; low is good: 2d100 ⇒ (46, 25) = 71
Winsomes coin disappears in the dark without hitting its mark. Lyrasal manages to find the corby and trip it with her sickle like a predator closing in on prey.
Kelda swings to try and end the fight with it. PA attack: 1d20 + 8 - 1 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 8 - 1 + 4 = 161d8 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 4 + 2 = 11
There is the sound of steel through the air and a slick splatter of blood. The squawking stops and you only can hear the one above clacking and chirping quietly.
A rock goes flying at Adrian from the darkness above at him with a laugh from nowhere.
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
But it’s slow and Adrian manages to catch the rock midair, without much trouble.
Init order: Adrian, Winsome, Aiko, Kelda, Zaraleva, Lyrasael, Nevalko, Byron,
Status;
Corby North - dead
Corby Center - dead
Corby South - dead
Necalko/Top Corby - 10 damage
Kelda - 5 damage

Adrian Liu |

Adrian breaths quietly as he feels the the positive energy wash over him. "Thanks for the... what the...!" Adrian thankfully notices the rock and steps back to avoid a grisly fate.
He then goes behind the remaining Corby to take it down.
Flurry 1: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 6 + 2 = 10
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Flurry 2: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 6 + 2 = 14
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8

Winsome Briskalberd |

Winsome throws his last magic coin at the remaining corby.
Ranged touch attack (coin shot), masterwork: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 4 + 1 = 21
Damage (bludgoning, piercing, magic): 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7

Hattori Aiko |

Aiko moves up the stairs, leaning out with her naginata just in case she has a chance to strike out at the flying enemy, but unable to target it in the darkness.

Lyraesel |

Lyraesel moves forward into the darkness, hunting the remaining enemy.
Perception(scent): 1d20 + 8 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 8 + 4 = 20

Zaraleva |

Zaraleva looks alarmed. "Adrian, Lyraesel, wait! She's on the balcony in the darkness above! Stairs are on your left and circle up. Keep the railing on your right when you reach the top. (And watch out for the unseen ninja.)"
Would a light orison counter the darkness?

GM-MM |

Give me a spell craft check, otherwise it’s a try and find out!
The two of you circle up the stairs, the bubble of darkness on the balcony is evident the moment you reach the top. Lyraesel you smell the scent of your prey within the darkness, it’s not far and is easy to track.
Winsome concealment low is good: 1d100 ⇒ 26
Assuming Adrian moves with the group up the stairs.
Kelda rushes out of the darkness looking a little wounded and quickly figures out her poisition before racing towards the stairs with the others.
Init order: left to go this round! Zaraleva, Nevalko, Byron,

Zaraleva |

Hmmm...light in the dark...
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15
I think it would help.
Zaraleva casts Light on the tip of Byron's longspear.
"Lead the way, my friend! Can you reach her from here or do you have to run up the stairs?"

Zaraleva |

I can't seem to edit or delete post 747, so everyone please disbelieve. Thanks DM
Zaraleva envisions the creature flying/leaping out of the darkness and down onto her, so she stands in the doorway, blocking escape, and readies Burning Hands for when she sees the corbie come into range. (15' and angled away from any party-members.)

GM-MM |

You watch as the darkness moves eventually encapsulating the stairs and the area where Aiko, Lyraesel, Adrian, and Kelda are. Within the darkness a sickening feeling washes over all of you, sucking the life from you.
Kelda: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9 takes 2 damage and let’s out a grunt of pain.
Status:
Kelda - 12 damage
Nevalko/casting Corby - 17 damage
