About Winsome Briskalberd

Winsome grew up in Sandpoint, and his human mother was killed during the siege of the city by giants several years ago. Since then he's been looked after by Volioker Briskalberd, the dwarf locksmith. Despite his adopted father's efforts, he's grown up a little flighty, always wanting to explore the surrounding area and never really accepting Sandpoint as his permanent home. He's always admired Ameiko, ever since he saw her valiant efforts to protect their city, and perhaps that awakened the spark of magic within him. He has arcane blood, though Volioker has tried to help him channel it into defensive, protective spells of which Torag and his dwarven ancestors would approve. This has made him a little jumpy and paranoid, and he's developed a bad stutter.
