Dyner has been leveled and updated. I gave her armor proficiency to help make her a little less likely to get knocked out.

![]() |

Still level 2.
Need to review money and possible purchases.
Glyph hero point to Jaxon.

![]() |

Just waiting for Kondai and Samna to post their tokens to the slides.

![]() |

I think both Dyner and Froggy said something about finals in Discord. Unless I missed an update and I’m up…

![]() |

I took an exam on Friday. It's done and I can get back to more important things (like Pathfinder) :)

![]() |

So sorry for not posting for a few days there. Life has been busy recently. I'm moving from all of the schools I teach at and my base school closed down so I was running around helping them clean-up, move things around and get rid of unnecessary things or stuff with personally identifiable information. It's sapped my energy and time. Things will be settling down next week, and I should be able to post more regularly.

Qigiq, how much more healing do you have? Do you have Continual Recovery?
I have 2 Fonts left.
I don't have Continual Recovery (generally can't qualify for it before 3rd unless you're an Investigator, Rogue, or take the Medic archetype).
![]() |

"Fine. If you're going to insist," Qigiq says to Kondai. "And drink some of those potions." He then says a prayer and releases a stream of rippling blue and green light in Kondai.
2-Action Heal @ Kondai: 1d10 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9

Alaric drowns the little bit of liquid healing he has. School item (Lesser Healing potion)
You were fully healed by scroll magic before this.

![]() |

I was a little too vague outside the spoiler, in retrospect.

Alaric, you can also have your hero point back. Jaxon's bellow was enough.

![]() |

Just double checking based on the description of "bug" and +8 seems kind of high for an animal Will save. Qigiq has Intimidating Glare and vermin aren't intrinsically mindless in 2e.

It's not quite a bug. Some GM's call it such because it looks like one... and it's tiny...

![]() |

I forgot I had a spellheart for Produce Flame and can deal aas much damage with that as Ray of Frost. I should have elementally betrayed fire instead of ice/water, knowing that Alaric has his aura effect. Next I'll try that next round, but we need some solid damage on these things and fast.

Is the square concealed or is it just a function of the creature (like blur)?

![]() |

Actually, you're not concealed. The creature attached to you is concealed. You can be seen. The creature is surrounded by darkness which is why there's a DC 5 check.

![]() |

And as someone who played through all of plaguestone with a DC 5 flat check in all attacks it's less threatening than you'd expect.

![]() |

that'd be pretty harsh if a fly or mosquito lands on you and the entire space you're in becomes concealed in a ball of darkness! :)

![]() |

It's a 20% miss chance. The same as using 1e Blur or a minor Cloak of Displacement. That latter item saved my butt so many times in a campaign.
But these things are kinda nasty. 1 successful attack and then they can drop you if you don't kill it.

![]() |

Yes -- the high tier one is nasty. The lower tiers are ok. The first time I ran it high tier it almost resulted in a character death.

![]() |

Moved to provide flanking for Alaric to target the one on Kondai.
Unclear what the one stuck to Jaxon will do. If it keeps draining him, he'll be Dying 4 after 3 drains.

![]() |

I forgot to act for Square. I'll get to it in a few hours.

![]() |

Sorry, I meant can we pull the bugs off someone else.
I'll allow it with 2 actions: 1 action to grab the thing and another to make an Athletics check to detach it.

![]() |

Wow, so, the bug can just triple action deal 6d8 damage to you no save and heal ? That's super BS. Nothing against the GM but that's just . . . bad encounter design. And since it can do it every round I guess I'm just dead? Even if I spend a hero point to auto stabalize instead of dying it'll just kill me next round.

![]() |

Actually, I have the bug let go after you go down. I've just been running out of actions -- it's one action to let go.

Yeah... that's a misapplication of the elite adjustment. At worst it should have been 1d8+2.

![]() |

actually it's not even an elite adjustment...
No. It's more than an elite adjustment.
It's Will save is clearly +2 or more of baseline, it's AC is +2 or more of baseline, and it's damage is +4.5 of baseline. With the temporary HP it's a little hard to extrapolate, but they seem to be >+10 HP over baseline. And we're not even the highest CP we could be, which is frightening. Adding this one to the list of things to review.
