As the last of the arthropods fall, the time rift displaying a vast desert closes. To its right, another rift opens, containing only a swirling void, releasing new creatures into the chamber. The mist in the middle of the archway clears for a moment, revealing the outline of a dragonkin which is quickly replaced by a lanky, crystalline humanoid reaching through the arch, its not-yet-fully-manifested hand clawing in Felise’s direction. “We need to hurry!” she calls, between incantations. “That’s a time dimensional, and it doesn’t look pleased!”
Table GMs, Checkpoint 1 is complete, and the Borrowed Time condition is in effect.

Several of the Starfinders determine that the tiny cloud things are Drift Motes, which are tiny extraplanar outsiders. They seem to have come here from the Drift, for what reasons you cannot tell. However, you are pretty sure that they can emit electrical shocks at range, but on targeted bolts and cone effects.
The others are Time Eaters, another entity from the Drift. They are able to steal your momentum, speeding themselves up!
Amariel shoots #2 with his prototype, hitting it squarely! However, it becomes clear that like many users of electricity it is either immune, or very resistant, to electrical damage, so only does the fire component of his plasma's damage.
With this information, I will allow Atu to retcon his action
Buddy, you need to make a separate attack against each target with Blast, but only damage once. Plus, they both have pretty good cover based on the angle.

For each attack you make with a weapon with the blast special property, roll one attack against each target in the cone, starting with those closest to you. Each attack takes a –2 penalty in addition to other penalties, such as the penalty to all attacks during a full attack. Roll damage only once for all targets.

Retconned Round 1 due to having info Recognizing their pistol in hand is a poor weapon against these strange beings, Atu pulls out their perforator pistol and focuses Hylax's power into that instead. It glows with green energy as the static pistol dims. Moving and drawing their second sonic pistol into their other hand, then Move to imbue it with the Magical assassain ability.

For a moment, you see a pair of what could only be cybernetically enchanced pterosaurs fly out of the Eternity Arch. But just for a moment, as they soar an elegant loop around the room, flying back through the arch.
Then, you hear the baying of several unearthly sounding hounds. Unseen, but not unheard, you hear the baying get closer... closer, until two hideous creatures step through the walls, tongues lolling. "It is them! The Hounds of Tindalos!" calls out Felise, obviously in a panic!
As suddenly as they arrive, a rift opens, and several rugged looking adventurers with bows appear, and shoot at the hounds, and then the rift seals, and they are gone again.
