It is a lot of work to export from Pathbuilder. I usually export the Stat Block and use that to set up my alias. It's a lot of formatting and typing, but if you'd like the raw formatting that I use with Catalina, I'd be happy to send you the "template" I use to plug everything in. You obviously don't need to be as extra as I am, linking all my skills and feats and stuff. I do that for my own reference since thaumaturge is a *really* involved class. :)

What I see regarding these links:

The first one takes me to the generic new character page of Pathbuilder.

The second one takes me to the level 5 version of Cevendyll.

The one in your profile takes me to the level 3 version of Cevendyll.

So the links in your profile aren't any more dynamic than linking to a .pdf is.

There is also the problem of access and usability. When Fern is at school and trying to post on her phone or through the school's rather restrictive firewall, it isn't easy or convenient - or even sometimes possible - to pull up the Pathbuilder web app in order to look something up.

What I do: I have a plain text file on my computer that I have my characters data created in the Paizo forum syntax. Then when I need to change something, I change it there, save it, then copy the entire thing into the profile text box. Prevents problems with edit going awry and losing all of the data for the character. Yeah, it is quite a bit of typing to get it set up initially, but then it is mostly just changing numbers afterwards.

I trust all you guys enough that I am not stressing over not seeing every detail of your characters or anything -- but sometimes when I need to look up something that's not in your quick stats in the header I cannot.

I don't need every feat written out even, just the names would be fine, 2E is a LOT of feats and abilities. But seeing thorough stats and such would help a lot when certain situations come up =D

With love, it isn't about the $5 - I have the paid version! It's more about making things easier on your GM. The less your GM has to go hunting for stats and things, the happier your GM is. Keeping everything in one place (aliases) makes GMing on Paizo a lot easier. Plus, then we don't have a bunch of tabs open for URLs that aren't education-based. Our IT guy is a dick about that stuff.

I use pathbuilder for Joran. But I break everything down in his alias too so that it's accessible for the DM. And also, so *I* know how everything breaks down. I HAVE to know how it all goes together and how it all works so that's why I set it up the way I do.

Yes, it's a lot of work but it bugs me if I look at something under my alias and *I* wind up asking myself: "Wait, why is that number there?" I just don't like that at all. If I'm asking a question then that means someone else probably is also. Bothers me to no end so I try to make it to where there are no questions asked and it's understandable by all.

But that's just me. Mr. OCD about that kind of stuff. :)

(Also, it's actually $5.99, fellas, not $5. Pretty cheesy of y'all to not offer the 0.99¢ also). Zing! ;) Lol!

looks like you can import the JSON file to VTT Foundry, though.

So I am going to start by putting the word D*CK in every slot of Cev's profile where there could be data, and then we will see what is displayed.

I feel like we should have a representative D*CK in the jungle somewhere; he's probably a d*bag homophobe or something. Maybe he can have the same name as the real d*ck.

So there's only one small D*CK in his stat line, but there's D*CK all over the rest of the profile.

Helps that when we split we still have entire 4-person parties.

The thin bolt of lightning from Lisi zaps the leshy, causing a momentary spasm that provides Dario with the opening he needs. Another point blank shot, carefully aimed to sail over Shadow's head, puts a hole right through the plant creature's head -- if it had brains, they'd be splattered all over the place. Instead, the thing remains standing, turning to flee, as Dario's melee strike removes the mutilated head entirely.

Shadow immediately bites into the dead plant, growling and ripping and tearing in an adorable preview of the dangerous creature she's going to grow up to be.

All is quiet in the clearing, and a regretful Guba stands, frond-like arms behind them, glowing eye cast downwards in apology and embarrassment.

The Pendergrast fan club can return at this point, dragging the pillar, if you want. Combat's done. Tried to time things out and keep both halves of the party entertained, sorry it slowed down a bit <3

I just need to own that I am NOT partial to combats where Cev can't Glimpse his teammate's attackers. Totally not cool.

Because whatever it is, between casting scholarly recollection and using a hero point, he might be able to help.

There is Aid, but it isn't great.

DC 20, but you can pick a skill you are good at if you can justify its relevance in helping. But it only gives a +1 bonus. And multiple people succeeding at it doesn't stack. If you can crit the check, you can give a slightly better bonus.

Perhaps magic like Guidance also if you have it.

Anything aside from that is up to Fern. Aid is the only thing I know of in the rules.

I get that RAW, Scholarly Recollection is more of a prayer than an actual real spell, but Cev's affinity for magic, knowledge, and Yuelral are pretty tight: could he pray that Lisi remembers more about Elephants and maybe gets 1 more roll in addition to the not so good roll? PF2 Wands aren't 'charged' in the same way that they are in PF1. You can use them once per day indefinitely. I used it yesterday on Shadow, and now today on Edka. That doesn't reduce its usage for tomorrow.

It is possible to use it a second time in the same day, but that will cause the wand to become either broken or destroyed in the process.
