For Hero Points, I am pretty sure the adaptation of the guideline is that we gain one automatically during morning preparations every day. So after a length of downtime, we would all be going through the portal gate at 3 Hero Points.

Hey there folks! I started up a new job today; much better pay and much better benefits. Only issue is training is on-site which means that I have to wake up earlier and will get home much later.

With that in mind, I will be slow and may need to be botted. Thankfully, I'm not a spellcaster and my death-dealing is pretty simple. I'll try to keep up with roleplay as best as I can. Training should only be 2-3 weeks.

Harrow readings take some time to type out because it's a mix of my interpretations of the cards and the actual meanings of the cards, so bear with me while I get the post written.

Luckily, I have a program that generates the spreads/cards for me, so that helps a TON.

I made a token for the party on Roll 20 for the hex map. You guys are heading toward the elephant people, but I'll let you decide the route. Revealed hexes are fully explored and have nothing of special note in them -- you'll still run into occasional Ekujae scouts in the ones presently unveiled, they keep an eye on things.

You can move two per day if you're just passing through, and you can fully explore one per day. One of Renali's abilities is to scout a nearby hex on her own and report back to you, so if you choose that route (instead of her making a safe shelter or foraging for food) you can explore two per day.

Feel free to draw on the map, and you can all move the token, so once the party decides who is going to lead the way or agrees democratically on a direction, go for it. You canscoot the token most of the way into a dark spot and I'll reveal it once I notice =)

May I just confirm that Cev is carry Akosa's bow?
I want to update Pathbuilder AND do really sassy daily prep like K10

(plus if I put the shifting rune on it, it can turn into other stuff)

Yeah, you taking the bow is fine with me. More thematic an on-point for the character.

Shifting is for melee weapons though.

Using the bow as the ally weapon is a bit limited. The Smite Evil and Radiant Blade Spirit upgrades would help with that though.

How about for exploring the hexes that we are traveling through? When we aren't double-timing the movement and are actually exploring.

Now that I have been emotionally devastated by a Marvel movie (Fern and I just watched Infinity War, me for the first time), I shall work to catch up on things.

Oops, good call Caiten -- DC 20 Survival for setting up shelter each night. The hexes, as long as at least one person is using Scout, Investigate, or search and you only move one in a day, you fully explore it without a roll.

I think maybe it is time to once again summon the Attitude of Gratitude: this group is a stone's throw from 7000 collective posts. Maybe I'm just a dork (i am for sure a dork btw), but that is incredibly cool to me.

I was completely new to pbp a year ago, and this campaign has for sure been the shining star of participation. I know we've all posted our laments re other groups, but this one is really something, and I thank you for letting me be part of it, and for having architected such a strong consistent bright spot in my day.

Mechanically it is probably best if Lisi continues setting up camp for us. With some of the rest of us who are trained in Survival using assistance.

As many people who want to can attempt assistance, but success results won't stack. And will get cancelled by anyone who critically fails (nat 1, or total result 9 or less).

Catalina is not going to be helpful with survival checks, unfortunately.

We just need an Abadaran to keep pushin' us over the edge. What's Renali's Survival skill rating? :)
