I said a babybabybabybabybabybabybaby...

Caiten |

In cinema, Cev would manage to get his dagger in-hand, press it against the roof of the mouth he's inside of, and then shift it into a replica of the longsword used by his Queen, Telandia, spearing the little brain of the drake ...
You only have the grabbed condition and are being subjected to forced movement. So you should be able to use items and make attacks.

Cevendyll |

and yes, Cev's weapon transformations have been chronomanced into an RAW compliant 1-Handed Weapon because the Elven Curve Blade, while sexi, is a exclusively 2-Handed Weapon in 2E. Flavor is a thing ... but oddly enough, so are the rules ;)
so is being eaten I guess
Cev feels like Luke falling into the Sarlac

Catalina Estrati |

I'm betting between Yasami and Dario, the last drake is finished off, if it was in the single digits.

Sulee |

maybe in that case, Cev stabs it just for cinematic good measure ;)
Oh absolutely. You should 100% post that.

Cevendyll |

said the dog, who was a poppet, who was a familiar ;)

Sulee |

*is
is a familiar.
:P
But seriously, go ahead and get cinematic with it. Nothing wrong with overkill. It is your turn in combat and we don't always resolve things in order anyway.

Yasami |

Minor hiccup on my end. It's a shortbow. Still 2nd range increment, since Fern said it's 120 ft away.

Catalina Estrati |

My HP is at 46/53. I would certainly not be opposed to improving that before doing other adventuring. And I think there are several rounds of poison to deal with too if Fern doesn't want to just wave all of that into the post-combat healing.
Catalina has plenty of treat wounds love to go around

Oren Strelov |

I imagine that between Catalina and Yasami doing Treat Wounds and Cev's Lay on Hands, it wouldn't take that long for everyone to get healed up. (Down 55/88)

Oh hey! Guess what!
It's time to be level 6!
We'll tackle that before we move to another hex.
EDIT: Reminders to update you stats in your header, and make sure your level 6 stuff is easily accessible in your profile. Check your stats in the macro sheet, too, so I'm rolling your initiative and stuff correctly. <3

Caiten |

Sweet. Level 6 is where the fun really starts for my build.
And I am glad that I got to cast Behold the Weave at least once before then.

You spoil us, Fern.
On an unrelated note, live game tomorrow, so I will probably only post on Sunday morning.
I can potentially take ward medic. Thoughts, team?
Double the heals, yo!

It is a cool ability. Especially if there is only one person on the team with non-combat healing.
It halves the amount of time it takes to heal everyone up. But that isn't actually much of a constraint. If the circumstances require actually timing how long it takes to heal after a battle, we can also start busting out the rest of our renewable non-combat healing abilities.
So if there is something else that you have your eyes on, I would recommend that instead.

Done, done, and done.

I'm going to be honest, I'll probably update all of this during our IRL game tonight while our cleric takes 20 minutes every round trying to remember how to play her character.

Yasami |

Bot really, I am looking at quick jump, but considering how many times I actually used tye jump action in tye game, I think I will pass.
ALSO ALSO, monk dedication!
It was a throwdown between AoO and monk. And I want to be speed by level 8, so...
I will also need to figure out how to improve unarmored AC.

Ouch. I felt that one.

As did I. Not too long ago my IRL group had a player with a Rogue that didn't know how to Rogue

Dario Zuz |

I am all updated now. I officially have Magic Crafter so I can cut down on time to make new magic items or update stuff from folks. I also now have Trap Finder so I am always searching for traps despite my exploration activity and get a +1 to find them, my AC to avoid them, +1 to disable them, and I can disable master traps at expert and then legendary traps at master.
I also got the Drifter's Juke so I can get the chance to have fancy feet while fighting.
EDIT: I also do a d6 of sneak attack now. So powerful.

Catalina Estrati |

I'm taking Sympathetic Vulnerabilities, Risky Reload, and then...gotta decide what to do with the skill feat. There are so many of them.

Cevendyll |

Sooooooooooo I was going to take Smite Evil, 'cause, well, paladin stuff.
But then it occured to me, yeah that's not exactly Cev. Cev is cool, but he's the other kind of cool. He's protector cool, not damage dealing cool.
So maybe, as lame as it is as written, maybe the better choice is Litany against Wrath for the 3rd Focus point (which will probably be used more often for Lay on Hands).
Thoughts?

Catalina Estrati |

Catalina's fully updated. I fixed some mistakes I had made on her sheet (a few skills were marked as untrained when they were, in fact, trained...did a lot of cross-referencing this morning).
The only skills she doesn't have training in are performance and thievery.
Took sympathetic vulnerabilities (exploit vulnerability all the things!), risky reload, and terrifying resistance.

Lisitsei Nagorát |

My sis and nephew are in town so I'll update ASAP!

Caiten |

Who is eying that magical leather armor?
Standard AC for this level is 23: 10+ Dex+item=5, +2 proficiency, +6 level.
The Barbarians are probably a bit lower than that. Champion and Monk should be a bit higher. Those with +1 runes on their armor already should also be a point above that.
Looks at Cevendyll's and Lisi's AC suspiciously.

Caiten |

I will also need to figure out how to improve unarmored AC.
Explorer's Clothing (with runes) and Bracers of Armor can both keep your unarmored AC up to par as long as you have maxed Dex at 20: +5. Which Swashbuckler usually does and it looks like you will be getting to by level 10.

Cevendyll |

okay, updated
went with Litany & the focus point because the Lay on Hands is one of Cev's core things
stat line is updated, but I think there was something else ...

Caiten |

Yeah. More focus points is good.
And Litany against Wrath looks really nice too. Does more damage than Needle of Vengeance.

Sulee |

stat line is updated, but I think there was something else ...
Yeah. The quick reference notes of the character build in your profile page.
And updating the skill bonus entries in the macro sheet up in the links so that your initiative is correct.

and all the stuff that's been untouched since Cev's reforging.
Cev & K10 have the same Thievery bonus now

Do we get Free Archetype? I forgot! :D

Catalina Estrati |

I believe we do. At least, I have been rolling with it. >_>

Caiten |

Do we get Free Archetype? I forgot! :D
And Ancestry Paragon.

Lisitsei Nagorát |

Ugh, I really can't decide on an archetype.

Caiten |

Which ones are you trying to decide between?
Or are you just drawing a blank entirely?

Yasami |
1 person marked this as a favorite. |

Lisi got the Geomancer archetype, and can pick a new one on level 6 (one class feat was used for an archetype feat, like with Yasami).
With that said, all should currently be up to date on Yasami's header and profile (and the linked sheet).
We got the big heals, folks.
2d8 + 10 with assurance on 2 people at a time.
And I also just realised we have been using treat wounds wrong for a while.
It takes 10 minutes to treat one person by default without battle medicine. So that's where we are now.
In a 10 minute window, Yasami can treat two individuals for 2d8 + 10 without rolling. So the healing will take a little longer, but unless we are pressed for time, it can be done between encounters.

I have a +1 chain shirt that I would be offering to someone who might need it.
ALTERNATIVELY, we could break down the chainshirt to get a recipe for +1 runes on armor? When we have time, that is.
Without ANY armor, I am down to 22. If someone needs the chain shirt, it's really up for grabs. I have dueling dance to increase my AC, if necessary.

Fuggin A! Thanks for that. I didn't even know there was an 'unarmored' version of armor you could put runes in.
Will post momentarily

Lisitsei Nagorát |

I have decided on an archetype and am laboriously inputting Lisi The JSON-Bound into a Google Sheet. :P

Catalina Estrati |

Catalina doesn't have enchanted armor, but I am not worried about her AC right now. She is not an up-close-and-personal fighter. You guys do whatever you'd like with it.

Lisitsei Nagorát |

still fiddling with this Google Sheet, but here's Lisi on Google.
