Equipment is restricted to what's in the Beginner box only. I posted the lists to the slides. For magic items, you're pretty much limited to potions and scrolls (and an everburning torch)

I changed Message with Divine Lance and bought 4 Heal scrolls.

So spells prepared:
Cantrips: Detect magic, Light, Ray of Frost, Shield, Gouging claw
1st lvl: Magic missiles, Hydraulic push

With my 16 gp and the 8 I already had, I buy 6 scrolls. So with the scroll of Magic missiles we already have found we have:

1x magic missiles
1x Mage armor (used once we go back there for AC 16)
3x Hydraulic push
1x Magic weapon
1x Jump

Ezren - Gouging Claw, Hydraulic Push and Jump are not in the Beginner Box list.

Kyra - Divine Lance is not on the list.

Merisiel - No potency crystals or rune transfers in the beginner box. So those will have to be disallowed.

I posted the Beginner Box rules above.
Cleric spells: Slides 29-31
Wizard Spells: Slides 32-35
Equipment List: Slides 37-40

Sorry again, folks. First time running the beginner box and totally forgot about the limitations.

Fair enough about the potency crystals, but what if Merisiel were to attempt the rune transfer herself. Nothing against that, is there?

Outside in Otari, Merisiel looks around for a blacksmith to transfer her +1 potency rune from the shortsword to her rapier. Unable to find one, she decides to attempt the transfer herself.

Haha...nice! Whaddya say, oh benevolent GM?
Even if it's still not allowed, it was fun to try!

Either way, ready to continue whenever everyone else is!

I'll allow that. I'm not wasting a Nat 20.

So I changed Message with Guidance instead in Divine lance.

So it should be all right now:

Spells prepared:
Cantrips: Detect magic, Light, Ray of Frost, Shield, Acid splash
1st lvl: Magic missiles, Hydraulic push

With my 16 gp and the 8 I already had, I buy 6 scrolls. So with the scroll of Magic missiles we already have found we have:

Thank you, oh kind and wise GM...much appreciated!!!

Merisiel finishes working on the rune transfer, and takes a few practice thrusts with her new magic rapier. She whispers to it, "Oh, you'll do just fine, my pointy friend." She sheathes the weapon while she watches Ezren shop for scrolls. She nods. "Excellent choices." In the same magic emporium, she looks around for potency crystals, but when she sees the shelf, it's sadly empty.

When her companions are ready, Merisiel follows Valeros back into the fishery. Heading down the stairs, she wields her rapier and stays close to the shadows as always.

And another Magic missiles instead of Hydraulic push in the prepared ones.

Actually, as a logical follow on to the Beginner Box I was contemplating preparing Troubles in Otari (which is outside the Beginner Box) if you're interested...

With Troubles, you can either use what you have, or create a new character that's not necessarily PFS legal. It will also be Adventure mode. 12 XP, 30 treasure bundles, 24d downtime, 12 Reputation, 12 AcP. Starts at Lvl 2

Valeros - your shield has been repaired (I'm assuming you found someone in town to repair it).
