Casting Circle of Protection (H+1) Evil Will Last for 1 hour.
Since we had time to refocus casting call to arms at the next opportunity.
-1 AC due to minor curse which will be -2 AC after initiative
"Ehhh... Im assuming we can't talk things out with the incoming zombie apocalypse so yeah lets fight. Everyone stay close my magic can provide some protection from the undead. We'll have the talk about an archeological organization having a jail later..."

Oooo the forums didn't eat my post. I posted in the wrong section. No wonder I was so confused. Anyway the GM is adding the initiative bonus in but notice how you have more HP than you should. That extra 4 HP comes from Call to Arms. It also provides a +2 status bonus to initiative.

The internet is down at my house until this pm [hopefully] will update when it is up.

GM Farol |

There is not going to be a way for me to angle a fireball is there?
Nope, you can cast one at the wall in front of you ;) Unless you can send curved fireballs ;)

Regarding call to arms - yeah it is a really good spell. Winning initiative is huge, and makes a great impact, on top of that is stacks with scouting.

Even if I move up, would I be able to catch the baddies at the edge or is there a party member there?

GM Farol |

are they the same kind of undead that we faced before?
They look the same.

You can see the map right? I don't think I understand that question

My wife and I are moving on Monday for 3 months. It will consume our whole weekend and probably Monday. So I will probably post for the last time on Friday and then another time on Tuesday.
It could happen that everything will go smoothly and I will have hours to kill in front of the PC ;) But I don't count on that.

Good luck. I've always found moving to be a very stressful experience.
As my mom says: You should move once every 5 years or never.

GM Farol |

Thanks all <3, yeah it is temporary so I hope it will not be that bad ;) (one can hope). We move to spend spring further away from big cities, and do some more hiking, walking etc. We really like the seaside in spring as it is relatively quiet there. When the summer hits, it is getting swarmed with people which is when we are moving back.

Are you maintaining 2 residences or packing everything you own and taking it to a new place for 3 months then packing everything you own and taking it to a new place at the old place?

![]() |

Moves are seldom pleasant, but I will wish you an endurable move as well as safe travels!

Sorry I was not really around this weekend, a good friend of mine passed away on Friday evening.

No idea if there will be any reason to be on the far side of the chasm, honestly just doing it in the possibility that something tries to come from there, plus it opens up the space on the ledge for anyone else who needs it, which seems like an okay use of the final action.
Sorry to hear about your friend passing, if you need any time away from the table I'm sure everyone would understand.
Hope the move went well, GM. Apologies for the slow posting on my end; I'm currently distracted with trying to file for unemployment on my end and there have been some days that have just burnt me out these past weeks in the midst of having to find openings, fill out applications and write cover letters/portfolio updating/etc. Going to try to be a bit more consistent moving forward if at all possible.

I'm sorry for your loss. Take the time you need.

@ most recent post's OOC section: I'm assuming Lore's presumably easier DC would be worth the one point difference, although I have no way of actually knowing if that is the case here. That said, I'm willing to use the Lore in any case just because its so rare to find potential uses for it.
Scouting Lore would basically be Klatzu rolling to know what not to do to draw attention and doing it anyways.

@Daggertooth: You're making me incredibly disappointed that I did not choose to play my Flames Oracle for this, considering he is literally a hodgepodge of professional wrestlers in the body of a Kobold. Yes, he does also have Gladiator Lore, iirc.

If this doesn't work my only options are to use the Iron Claw or put someone in a Figure 4 Leg Lock!

Hey folks, I decided to accelerate the chase a bit and post 3 rounds (last 3 rounds) in one go. Each one of you should make three distinct actions (1 action for each round). PBP have a tendency to drop in enthusiasm in mechanics that are similar so I will try to fast-forward it a bit ;)
On the same note around 24th of April I will take time-off, since I never can predict how disruptive it would be to my PBP tables I will try to get this game as soon to end as possible. After the chase, we are left with last final encounter. Since on those lvls they have tendency to take a while lets see how it goes.
=============================
On the other note, i paused giving hero points as you all like to hoard them :) I shall give the extra hero point to Gurka, she seems to be putting herself in harms way regularly. Well done!

chases are the worst.
I've found it quite enjoyable.
Mostly thanks to the dice, of course.

I also found it enjoyable thanks to the abundance of Crafting opportunities, even if you are sapping my dice luck by proximity.

Not sure if I can eat more damage at this point since it seems this stage of the chase is mostly resolution, but would be willing to take damage to save points if the option is still on the table.

You could eat damage, and probably it would be better for me to specify the DC's for the rolls. In the end you ended up with max Rescue Points so I just rolled with what you had.
and btw in this fight we will be dealing with Troops ;)

GM Farol |

@KLatzu no worries.
===================
@ALl - regarding darkness, i was thinknig about it. During live game or VTT this is how it would play out:
@GM "You enter a room"
@Zabu: "Why can't I see anything"
@GM "There are no light sources"
@Zabu: "Does anyone have a light spell or should I turn on my wafyinder"
@Gurka "Sure, here you are"
@GM "So you enter the room"
........
In PBP, I drop folks right into combat, which steals the above opportunity from you ^^. So I retconned and let that imaginary scene from above happen.
Sorry Hamir, You can take two rounds of actions.

![]() |

Zabu joins Gurka on the Circuit for a while, serving as manager, personal valet and occasional tag team partner. He quickly gains a reputation for fighting dirty, sucker punching people and distracting the ref at just the right times.
Also...he sets the record for number of chairs broken on people's back in one night (including Gurka on accident, thus losing her the championship.)
Gladiatorial Lore: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17

Following his mission, Hamir sets out making updated maps of the Vaults beneath the Sothis Lodge for sale to his fellow agents.
Pathfinder Society Lore: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (13) + 12 = 25
72 sp earned

She will spend some time teaching arcane magical theory to some apprentice wizards

Klatzu is a degenerate Crafter and I need to figure out what he's making next, so I'll do some research and get back to you on that.
Oh right, I'm still missing a Resilient Rune. Crafting.
Crafting vs IL 8 DC24: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (9) + 18 = 27
Success, due to Crafter's Workshop, the initial start time to begin work on reducing the price is reduced to 1 day. Due to being Field Commissioned, Klatzu spends the remaining 5 days working to reduce the final price of the resilient rune by 3gp per day, knocking 15gp off of the final price, plus an additional 3gp due to using shoddy materials through the Junk Tinker racial feat for 18gp reduction in total. Klatzu will continue work on this into the next scenario.
Klatzu is also slow-tracking this scenario, due to being a level 8 with 8xp and wanting to play part 2 with the same character if possible.
