Charlie wakes up and finds the sprite hovering above him. He immediately picks up the shield, stands up, and runs beside one of the pillars, out of fear that he will be attacked again.

”What happened? Did I miss something important? Last thing I know, I was hit with a rapier.” he asks Jiggo near him.

"Marvelous shot!" Marcos booms in delight as Red drops, "Okay now, you all have 10 minutes to patch yourselves up. I've been going easy on you until now, so this will be your toughest opponent yet!"

Marcos turns to the sprites, "Thank you for that dazzling display. Off you go now, there are some treats for you in the kitchens."

You have 10 minutes to ready yourselves for the last fight. Reposition yourselves on the map as you wish.

Salera, meanwhile, practices her three point landing off the pillar.

”Thanks, Jiggo! I owe you my life!” Charlies tells Jiggo with so much gratitude. ”That was my first time to feel being close to death. It’s horrifying!” Now he is overdoing it. He then summons his angel, Estes, and picks up the weapon. Her readies himself with both shield and weapon on hands.

Estes materializes as Charlies summons him. He appears as golden dust materializes on a space beside Charlies, swirling and forming the angel’s body and wings from head to toe. He flaps his wings twice, sending the gold dust into chaos but then dissolves dramatically in the air into nothing.

”I felt your pain, and the last thing I saw you were pierced with a rapier." Estes tells Charlies.

Salonviel counts his arrows. He's nearly out.

Grallen will keep his crossbow loaded and prepare for the final bought.

Are you all ready for the next round? Positions on the map satisfactory?

Sindrailla sends arrows at Thoralox. Two of them miss outright. The third hits the drake but bounces off its scaly hide.

With a gleeful roar, Thoralox takes to the air and flies to the middle of the arena. He makes a hacking noise and spits a ball of caustic mucus at Grallen. The ball bursts and showers everyone within 10 feet.

Grallen doesn't manage to dodge the acid blast but remains on his feet, if only just. He fires his crossbow which misses wide. Fortunately Charlies sends some much healing his way, undoing most of the damage.

Salera enjoys playing with her catch. Reminds her of her old days. The fun part where she got to hunt. Not the boring part with lectures and paperwork and "discipline."

But soon the hunt turns bad. The beast sinks its teeth right into her abdomen. She sees Jiggo clutch his stomach as blood starts to leak. "Jiggs, wait. Don't- hold on!" Her carefree facade melts as the world of Golarion washes away.

"Dammit!" Salera tosses some of her books across the room. Back in her gilded cage, she plops onto a seat, trying to control her rage.

Grallen's crossbow bolt hits Thoralox in his leg with a solid THUNK. Ember sends Sindy some well needed healing. Estes approaches Thoralox and attempts to strike but Thoralox again tries to swat him with his tail.

Estes swings and catches Thoralox full in the face. His eyes cross and he drops to the arena floor.

COMBAT OVER

"Masterful!" Marcos booms as Thoralox gets up and staggers to the tunnel leading to the kitchens.

"You owe me for this Marcos! Thoralox growls as he limps down the tunnel.

Marcos allows you to patch yourselves up and walks with you back to the Grand Lodge. Once you return, the Master of Swords takes his leave, heckling some trainees he spots and demanding they accompany him back to the rented arena.

Back at the Grand Lodge, the Venture-Captain approaches with a smile on his face.

"Excellent work, everyone. You’ve all earned your rest after those trials of body and mind. Fortunately, local Pathfinder by the name of Solvatar Caryg has offered to treat you to a fine dinner as well as to put you up for the night in his lavish guest rooms. I’ve got a coach ready to take you to his estate. Enjoy your evening. The deans will give you your scores tomorrow morning."

The promised coach waits outside and takes you to Caryg Manor, a walled mansion in the Petal District. Once you arrive, Solvatar Caryg emerges and greets them with wide arms and a smile. He ushers them personally into his manor home, where his servants present an extravagant five-course meal while he regales you with long-winded tales from his past missions.

During dessert, a servant rushes in and whispers in Solvatar’s ear. He grows visibly upset and excuses himself, explaining,

"This is an urgent matter, I’m afraid—though nothing you need to trouble yourselves with. Please relax and enjoy your stay"

He doesn’t appear for the rest of the evening, and after dinner, a valet escorts the PCs to their rooms. The night passes uneventfully and you all get 8 hours of sleep. The morning arrives and you are all sitting in the dining room enjoying a lovely breakfast (whatever daily preparations you have, you may make them now).

Can I purchase more arrows?

I assume someone heals Jiggo?

"Did we win?" Jiggo stumbles awake. "Congrats, everyone." Jiggo slowly sips his meal. "Oh! I should call Salera over. She's probably bored."

Moving his hands carefully and intricately, Jiggo's hand glows with a symbol of the smile before Salera appears in a puff of smoke.
