Pistols are compared against KAC or is it energy?

If it's does bludgeoning, slashing or piercing damage, it's KAC
If it does energy damage it's EAC unless it's a solarian melee weapon.
At least that's the way I see it.

How does healing work again? Am I correct that any damage I take first reduces my Stamina points and my HP only goes down when my Stamina has been depleted?

I have an offensive ability called Grappler but I can't find what it does. They really should update the pregens to include definitions of the abilities like for PF2E.
Grappler is one of the standard skittermander ancestry ability. It gives a +2 bonus to grappling.

Sorry, it was a rough week, I’ve been quite busy with work then very tired and felt asleep as I put the kids to bed a couple time after that. It should be more calm at work for now.

Its getting better with work as a big milestone of one our project was delivered last week. Tonight, I managed to not fell asleep when staying a bit with the kid and the baby’s room.

How do day jobs work for pregens? I think I roll one of Gazigaz's skills, but he doesn't have any day job skills really. So no day job for me, correct?

Presumably you roll the Day Job for the PC you are assigning the Chronicle to.

I don't have a PC in range though. The PC I am going to apply the chronicle to is only level 2.

Well, from what I understand from the latest guide to Organised Play, players are allowed to roll their own Dayjob check so I suppose you can roll it when that PC gets to the appropriate level.
