Max realizing that the vortex can't be attacked and he doesn't have the necessary skills, tries to leave fort: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (11) + 22 = 33 he is pulled 10 feet into doc's position. Then with 20 feet of movement he gets back to his original position. One more step of now 30 feet and he is just outside the circle of difficult terrain. He will decide to back up another 20 feet using up two rounds of move actions and third action sheath his hammer.
His plan next round is to draw his bow and attack the back sandman from outside the room, as it would be pointless for him to stay inside the room.

Cirri holds her ground and tries to dodge the sand to the best of her ability.
Reflex Save: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (14) + 20 = 34 A bit on the nose, but I'll take it.
Cirri dodges a chunk of debris, but she's not done yet. "Aoibhean! Get out of here!" She channels what little healing she has into the Ganzi.

"Oh, right. I remember now. To be complete, you must look at your incompleteness and embrace it. Was that how it goes?"

Sand Whirlwind (Redeux: Aftermath)
As Osh tackles the last Sand Man, Doc's poetry causes the Whirlwind to rapidly die down - one final thrash sucking what remains of the Sand Man back into it's core, before it's powerful winds dissipate from the room completely, leaving a once-orderly spread of multi-hued piles of chromatic sand instead one large and lumpily-convex dune-track of brown particles - with the Swallowed Feathers nowhere in sight!
The party takes stock of their situation, just about an hour before noon on "pre-qualifier" day before the actual tournament, and decide how next to proceed...

The party heads to the next sequential southern room, passing the great Stank Beast Chamber, whose temporary transformation into a Primal Hot Spring has since faded back into muck... the mighty beast's corpse half-sunken below the murky depths.
Ahead, they see the familiar (except to Doc) large and colorful eucalyptus tree that stands at the center of the chamber, reaching toward the sky through a square window in the ceiling, with the old skeleton still lying slumped against the base of the tree, bones spotted with fallen peels of multicolored bark.
They pause before actually entering the chamber - for in their excitement they had forgotten to tend to their wounds!... Or perhaps they had meant to squeeze one more little misadventure out of the last fading hour before High Noon!?...

Max will hunters mark the black one that has greater cover first action, use hunted shot(two shots with one action) and then shoot a 3rd time (3rd and final action)hit: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (3) + 20 = 23 dmg: 2d8 + 4 ⇒ (5, 4) + 4 = 13
hit: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (19) + 15 = 34 dmg: 2d8 + 4 ⇒ (7, 5) + 4 = 16
hit: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (9) + 10 = 19 dmg: 2d8 + 4 ⇒ (1, 5) + 4 = 10 Please note, he has a longbow out, so if that one is 30 feet or less away he takes a -2 to the shot, otherwise if he is more than 30 feet away, the attack penalty does not apply

Trapped in a Web! (Reprise: Round Six, Continuing)
A familiar eight-eyed face emerges! Bearing the wounds of her last scuffle with the party, the stalking hunter makes a strange sound ((◆) Nature to Identify?), then heaves her hairy body over the "short" (10 foot) walls (no longer Undetected nor Greater Cover) and mimics the motions of her young, spewing her web and gnashing out with her dripping maw!

Cirri for Ruby Phoenix |

When it's her turn, Cirri will spend an action to identify with Nature(M) +21. I'm just posting my intent now so I don't slow the game down too much when my turn comes up.

Cirri for Ruby Phoenix |

Doc Ling |

Doc attempts to free himself from the webbing by clawing himself out.
Escape (unarmed): 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (12) + 17 = 29
Not sure if that will pass the DC. I'll wait to hear back from the GM before doing my next two actions. If it does escape, then Doc's Primal Innate Freedom of Movement will likely be his course of action.

Trapped in a Web! (Reprise: Round Six / Seven)
Doc struggles to get free, just barely writhing out of the sticky substance, rolling just in time to avoid little mandibles wrapping him further. He then suffuses his body with slippery magic, so as not to become webbed once more!
And just in time as Big Nasty Red Baby Spider scales the wall, and strikes at the first creature in it's reach!

Re-introducing strands around the magical sheen, Doc has the image of being trapped - and is then viciously bitten!
Doc! Please finalize a Fortitude save then open the spoiler!

Firstly, they have a surprise round action called "Spring Upon Prey" which triggers free detection and movement for them if you cross a web trap they have spun on the first round. Not relevant here. But if they escape again...
Secondly, they are Low Will (+17 or +15 weak) but High Fortitude (+25 or +23 weak) creatures!
