Booker goes all out on the incoming zombies! Bullets, bloods, and guts fly everywhere as the green zombie is torn to shreds! The other zombies are hit with some debris, as is booker!

Doc lines up a shot at Orange, but her shot isn't as accurate. Only a small hole forms; the zombie barely notices.

Zakzak clicks another set of rusty spoons into his gun and aims at the black-eyed zombie.

Spoongun vs Black dashed, Slashing: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (19) + 12 = 311d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Risky Reload, Spoongun vs Black dashed, Slashing: 1d20 + 12 - 5 ⇒ (10) + 12 - 5 = 171d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

If black dashed is down for the second shot, aim it at orange.

Reload, Strike, Risky Reload

Gonna clean up the map a bit to make it easier to see which zombies are still a threat.

@Zakzak, the black zombie is near Zindarel and you don't have line of sight for it. Will change your target to orange.

Zakzak sends out a blast of spoons towards the orange zombie that's attacking Booker! The spoons leave a gaping hole in the center of the zombie's chest, destroying it.

First shot killed orange so redirecting your attack to blue.

The goblin quickly and riskily reloads his gun. Again, the spoons create a massive hole in the undead's size. But unfortunately, it still stands.

The red and pink zombies join in to try to eat Zindarel, but can't seem to climb up the wall. The blue zombie, however, sees Booker right in front so reaches out to attack! But Booker's tough armor seems to reflect any incoming attack!

◆ And reloads for her third action

Zindarel has an advantage from being on the second story. But she is still struggling to take down the zombies trying to claw their way up to the second story. She aims at the black zombie and shoots it's stomach out of it's body! But it barely notices and continues to reach up at the elf (unsuccessfully!)

My apologies, I'd been on holidays and not really at my computer much, but I'm back now.

Zakzak rushes up ahead to get a better look at the zombies harassing his ol' pal Zindarel. "Only a couple left, come on guys!"

No worries! Hope you had a good holiday!

The spoons are especially effective against the zombie! The red zombie is definitely damaged, but it's still up!

Zakzak aims his gun up at the zombie that's right in his face, haphazardly loading up a few more spoons. "You aren't getting my brains!"

Spoongun vs Pink, Risky Reload: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (9) + 12 = 211d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

He then takes a minute to more carefully reload, just in case.

Okay, Pink zombie is dead. I'm sure you guys can easily kill the last zombie easily without any more damage, so I'll move on.

The last of the zombies fall to the ground. A quiet hush begins to settle over the neighborhood. In the distance, the occasional gunshot and barking command is heard shattering the still night air.

Slowly, patrons from the Powder Horn begin making their way out to the street to survey the damage. Rickard and Maggie Thuss emerge from the gunnery, Rickard holding a heavy pistol in one hand and the leash of an old brindle dog in the other. Maggie carrying a mop, bucket, and a determined air as she surveys the gore-stained neighorbood. The bartender Martelle emerges from the Powder Horn and waves to the heroes.

Suddenly, a sharp whistle pierces the night. A squad of shieldmarshals led by a woman with a closely shaved head and wearing a leather duster fall into formation along the road between the Scothwel residence and the theater house.

"Pardon me," the woman calls out in a voice that doesn't seem particularly concerned with whether she's pardoned or not. "I am Sergeant Kashenvale with the Shieldmarshals of Alkenstar! Can anyone tell me what happened here?"

As the eyes of the night's survivors turn toward the ragged group of heroes who fought through the zombie legions, Sergeant Kashenvale follows their gaze. With a wry smile, she raises a hand in greeting.

"Seems like perhaps you're the ones who did our job while we were otherwise occupied? Come along then, you'll need to file a report if I'm to get you a commendation and some payment for your efforts.". As she finishes the statement, Sergeant Kashenvale begins directing her soldiers about the square, dispatching some to take statements from witnesses and others to assist in cleaning up and locating the missing.

The sergeant takes the hero's statements about the night's events, calmly noting everything they have to say. Feel free to roleplay this out if you want!

Once the heroes finish their accounts, Kashenvale asks them to accompany her back to the station house. Once there, she provides each of the heroes with a formal commendation for their services on behalf of the people of Alknestar. The commendation includes free room and board at any of the city's shieldmarshal barracks, exemption from punishment for any past (but not future) misdemeanors committed within the city limits, and a one-time bounty of 100 gold pieces for each of the heroes. "Job well done!"

Okay, scenario is officially over! Thank you for playing and sorry it took so long! Hope you enjoyed. Feel free to continue roleplaying. Everyone has their chronicle sheet, correct? Will leave this thread open another day or two if you have any questions or comments!
