Lokaloka
|
"Oooh," Lokaloka says in wonder, "Whats do I's need to uses this?"
Lokaloka
|
Can anyone identify this? I don't have arcana
Ysoldt Minso
|
"Rain - what exactly is your mission here? Find this place?", Ysoldt tries to rephrase her question. The newly discovered trinket tells her nothing, so she keeps clear of it as she attempts to clean her clothse of blood.
| Game Master Tea |
"I've been working on a theory about Azlanti survivors who escaped Earthfall and ended up here. My books led me to believe I would find something here and we have! I just need to explore a bit further and hopefully find out where these monsters are coming from to make it a success! Isn't it exciting!" Rain is clearly very happy. "The Azlanti were the ones who developed and used aeon stones before the Pathfinder Society worked out how to."
Igaraise Thunder-fang
|
Igaraise sniffs at the floating stone around Loka's head and shakes their head. "No clue dere were stones like dis. Pretty though. And it doesn't seem to be killing you... Yet."
No arcana here, sadly.
They give her another long look and then turn to Rain. "Obviously not a important place as the illustrious Hao Jin didn't take them, but otherwise, an amazing discovery. Must be excitin'"
"Now we movin' or just jabberin'?"
Lokaloka
|
Lokaloka looks at the aeon stone in wonder, and scratches her head on what it is and how to use it.
Lokaloka
|
Lokaloka inexplicably drops the aeon stone into her pickle jar.
Ysoldt Minso
|
Initially, Ysoldt seems surprised when Loka puts the stone into the pickle jar, but disregards it. "Alright, let's see what we can find here."
She moves deeper into the cave, with her eyes peeled.
Perception +6
Ysoldt Minso
|
I'll light a torch. Completely missed that, sorry.
Lokaloka
|
Lokaloka has darkvision.
| Game Master Tea |
Assuming Lokaloka allows it, Thalaasi identifies the stone as a Dusty Rose Aeon Stone, capable of casting Shield and being further enhanced in a wayfinder.
Lokaloka
|
"Rain! Yous needs talks to mold! Tells mold we's not danger!"
Lokaloka
|
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16
"Same thing Ysoldt said earlier..."
| Game Master Tea |
Rain's stealth: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16
Creeping forwards, the fungus leshy starts speaking to the Brown Mold. All of a sudden he turns and whispers (loud enough for Ysoldt and Thalaasi to just hear) "There's a thing in a circular chamber! It's rather disturbing!"
| Game Master Tea |
Rain scurries back to you.
"It's like a big slug, but with an upper body, torso, tentacles, arms and a face! The room is glowing faintly green because of a central pillar with glyphs moving around on it! We have to examine that!" he says half-excited, half-terrified.
It is an Occultism check to try to identify what Rain is describing.
| Game Master Tea |
None of you have any idea what it is.
Igaraise Thunder-fang
|
Igaraise also has darkvision
Igaraise gives a snort, "Sounds like you're just making things up to scare us. I'm too old for playing those games you material planers call 'phazing!'" With a derisive look they crouch to the ground and try to slink into a better spot to look at the supposed 'creature,' assured that the mushroom man is making stuff up.
Stealth +0... This might be a mistake but Igaraise ain't super bright.
Lokaloka
|
Lokaloka starts a fast tune on her pipes to inspire courage in case a fight should break out.
| Game Master Tea |
Ygaraise sneaks forward to look, not believing the strange comments of a fungus leshy.
They see a slug-like abomination just like that described. (see slides)
A massive stone column ten feet wide rises from the tiled floor of this circular chamber. Strange glyphs dance along the column, pulsing with dull green light, though many of the glyphs wink in and out of existence as though malfunctioning. The ceiling here ascends twenty feet from the floor. Collapsed stone debris prevents the use of two connecting halls to the west and southwest, while breaks in the eastern walls open the area to an adjacent network of caves. A single five-foot-wide hall exits to the north.
The creature does not seem to have noticed Ygaraise.
Igaraise Thunder-fang
|
Igaraise also has medium armor without the necessary strength to reduce the penalties to stealth. He has a -2 as well.
Igaraise looks at the slug frowning. Well, I'll be damned...
Ysoldt Minso
|
Ysoldt looks back at the group, puts her index finger to her mouth vertically, and mouths a "Shush" sound. Seeing light ahead, she douses the torch in the dirt, and tries to move in closer towards the room. All sneaky-like.
Igaraise Thunder-fang
|
Loka's an occult caster, but Cha based.
Igaraise starts to line up a shot as they look at the rest of the group. "Gonna fire at dis ding if you ain't gonna do anyding!"
Readying a shot of his focus spell, but gonna wait to see if others want to do something before we start combat.
Lokaloka
|
Lokaloka quietly tiptoes up to stand near Igraise, ready to support him if needed.
If anyone wants the aeon stone, they can take it. Lokaloka can cast shield so it's kind of redundant
Ysoldt Minso
|
Ysoldt stores her dagger, and pulls out a sling instead. She puts a bullet in, and gets ready to lob it towards the creature.
I would ready an action to strike with the sling when Igaraise strikes the creature with a spell.
Lokaloka
|
Lokaloka focuses on the rocks around her and selects a particularly sharp and pointed one to hurl at the creature should it prove to be hostile.
You think, GM? ;)
