Igaraise Thunder-fang
|
Most commonly, in PbP settings the GM will apply actions in order of posting (as it saves the GM and player sanity) unless the player specifies otherwise (i.e. waiting for X Y or Z, or trying to move before someone.) I'm not sure if GM Tea is also doing this, but you might still be able to apply them to your roll.

Lokaloka bows in gratitude

The dretch sees a chance! Sensing Ysoldt is on her own, it stops cowering, takes a step towards her, then bites and claws, trying to tear her apart.

As its claws rake along her skin, Ysoldt feels the evil burn her.
Lokaloka

Lokaloka plays another melody on her pipes, trying to make it stick in her companions' minds. It's a fast jaunty melody where she hopes to get Igaraise's tail wagging.

Igaraise gives a huff as they stare at the creature that took their thunder bolt and stayed upright. With a bit of left over crackling energy from the shot, they raise a hand and empower the energy to follow the same path the previous bolt did.
Electric Arc, DC 17 Basic Reflex save: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
They then raise their shield up and cower behind it. AC 20 for the round
Ysoldt Minso
|
Ysoldt glances ofer her shoulder. Disappointed when nobody is coming to help, she decides to deal with the problem up close and personal.
"Do you think I am scared of you, you little weasel? I'm more scared of your mammarries, than your maw. Better cut them off, to not have them in sight..."
She quickly jumps around the creature, and attempts to frighten it. Then takes a jab with her blade.

Ysoldt collapses to the floor, Dying 1 and the little demon staggers.
Lokaloka

Lokaloka screams in horror as Ysoldt collapses. Jabbering arcane words, she casts a spell, then curses the creature in Goblin.

Dengar Oresniffer
|
Dengar shoots another burst of lawfulness at the creature.
Spell Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20
Damage: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Good catch on the good - I can't believe I didn't notice that!
Then he moves toward Ysoldt to try and drag her back.
Igaraise Thunder-fang
|
Igaraise pulls out a small bit of foul smelling purifying something and with a chant and flourish causes it to float into the air and change color from a deep brown to a slightly lighter brown. The blob then flies at Ysodlt's wound and plasters it over, quickly patching up the open slashes.
Heal, 1st level, 2 actions: 1d8 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12
The brave kobold then bravely raises their shield to bravely cower behind it.
| Game Master Tea |
You look around the room. Stairs ascend along the chamber’s northern end to a raised platform. Two halls branch from the raised area, one to the north covered in debris, while the other to the west connects to a wider hall heading north. A sealed stone door to the east bars access beyond. A large crack along the eastern wall of the lower section continues into a damp cavern replete with the smell of flora.
Rain says "I'm glad I brought you with me! I think that demon would have made short work of me." he looks around "Which way should we go? I'm inclined to check out that cavern next." he points to the eastern wall.
Ysoldt Minso
|
Ysoldt comes to, and realises what happened ... again. She sees her injuries and reaches for the bandages ... again. She walks towards the demon, picks p her dagger, and sits on the stairs, looking at the rest of the group. A tad begrudgingly.
"Thanks, whoever woke me up, but I feel-", she stops to collect her thought as she readies her healer tools. "You know what, nevermind. Let's forget it."
She puts her dagger into the sheathe once she is done cutting the bandages, and instead takes out her sling.
Medicine: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22
Igaraise Thunder-fang
|
Igaraise seems to start preening openly as Ysoldt starts to thank them... Before give her an exacerbated look. "Better Not forget about it! That was preemo magic AND good pathfindering!"
Openly grumbling, they scoop up some mud, cast a spell on it and plop it into Ysodlt's hands. "Dis is better. Helps keep wound clean."
I thing you did some healing there with that medicine check.
Ysoldt Minso
|
Yeah I just kind of forgot. Thanks
2d8 ⇒ (6, 4) = 10
That would be back to full HP and remves the wounded condition.
"Yes, the getting me back on my feet part was great. I had something else in mind."
Igaraise Thunder-fang
|
Igaraise gives a small look of shock that Ysoldt read their most inner thoughts, not realizing they were muttering them out loud as well. Narrowing their eyes slightly they regard her for a moment and then add, "If ya charging in, do it with other people? Can take a few blows myself! Now let's get moving before these cursed dry ruins in the middle of a wet soggy swamp start to dry us out too!" They give a look at everyone else and then start tromping into the wet open part of the ruins.
| Game Master Tea |
Caves stretch out from several breaks in the walls of the stone complex. Though the cave is mostly damp, patches of permafrost show up regularly within the dug dirt walls. In several places, moisture has come through the dirt, only to be frozen in place. Along the east, several smaller tunnels, too small for even a child, connect to hidden passages beyond.
Ysoldt's Perception (E): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21
Igaraise's Perception (T): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26
Igaraise and Ysoldt both notice a patch of brown mould that looks potentially dangerous.
Ysoldt Minso
|
"Uh. That looks suspicious...", Ysoldt points out the mould ahead, and loads her sling, just in case.
Probably can't identify it with occultism, can I?
Lokaloka
|
None of the above, but let's try anyway
Nature/Survival: 1d20 ⇒ 13
Ysoldt Minso
|
| 1 person marked this as a favorite. |
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16
Ysoldt leans to Rain, and lowers her voice.
"Uh... Tell it we're not really tasty. Look at us. I'm skin and bones, a goblin that eats sour pickles all day... There's a lizard that lived in a sewer his whole life. Elves have terrible taste. Both in housing and the actual taste. And if it eats a dwarf ... well, it will be coughing out beard for weeks. It can pass this meal, trust me. For it's own sake."
| Game Master Tea |
Rain delivers Ysoldt's comments mystically.
"It appears this mold will leave you alone. But it gave me a sense of two other patches deeper into the caves."
You see the back of the sealed chamber opening out into the cavern system as well as further caves back in the darkness.
Igaraise Thunder-fang
|
Igaraise gives a grumble about something but does seem to understand that Rain saved them some pain and problems. "Thanks... Would have been hard to convince the mold on our own..." They then look at the group and gives a shrug, "Well Whatcha waiting for. Don't make your elders lead the danged way!" With a huff they bring their shield up and start to March thruohg the mold.
Ysoldt Minso
|
"I feel like I've lead a bit too much for one day. But for you, old scaley face ...", she taps Igaraise on the shoulder and moves forward.
"Were you looking for anything specific in here, Rain?”
Igaraise Thunder-fang
|
Igaraise pocks their snout into the room near them where a corner has fallen into the cave system and takes a look around, but they turn back at Ysodlt's gesture. "Ya ain't so bad for a younging! Rest o' you all could learn from her! 'specially you elf man."
Yes, I am well aware that at 90ish years of age they're probably around the same age as Thalassi, but the fact of that won't stop Igaraise from being croutchy grandpa.
Igaraise Thunder-fang
|
Is the kobold an old kobold?
Igaraise is old enough that their Cobalt scales have faded to a light blue, and has horns all over their face like an old dragon. Yeah they old.
Igaraise gives the box a sniff, close look and gingerly picks up the likely trapped thing. Lurching back into the main room, they hand the box to Loka and give a huff of air. "Still got better eyes than all you youngings. Let you get the 'onor o' opening this!"
Lokaloka
|
Lokaloka continues to play softly on her pipes. She checks the chest for traps.
| Game Master Tea |
Lokaloka cannot see any traps and opens the box.
Inside are some nicely cut emeralds and a dusty rose gemstone.
Rain exclaims "That's an aeon stone! That, the stone work and the tunnels prove that there must be more Azlanti ruins around here!"
He seems very excited.
Igaraise Thunder-fang
|
Igaraise looks at the stone and picks it up before tossing it over to Loka and watching it start to orbit her head. "Yup, 'n' I found it." Instead of the stone, the kobold picks out one of the emeralds and holds it up to whatever light there is in the tunnels. "Much more my speed than some unknownn stone..."
This is assuming that Loka even wants to try using the stone.
